Everything was fine until checkout, when the cleaners and the checkout representative arrived.
By the time I got into the taxi, I checked my bag and realized my wallet, containing $250 USD, was missing. Fortunately, we hadn’t left yet, so I immediately went back to the villa and searched everywhere, but I couldn’t find it. I had the wallet right before packing my belongings, which makes the situation even more concerning.
It’s disappointing that our stay had to end this way. That said, this experience does not represent Bali or the Balinese people, who have otherwise been incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our trip.
I had the absolute WORST experience at Casa Phlipp. My friends and I got robbed. I got robbed about P20, 000 or close to 500 dollars. We only realized a few months after visiting when we each shared our experience.

I have been to Bali 4 times in the last few months and lots prior to that. We have stayed in all types of accommodation and this by far was my favourite.
It had such a lovely boho vibe. It was clean, spacious and that lovely space to land and be without even needing to go out. It is so child friendly with a kids play space in the garden and high chair etc.
I will definitely be back!
