They don’t refund people’s money! We have been communicating with them for months and keep getting told they will refund our money. Then they make up excuses as to why they can’t. And we are STILL waiting. Terrible customer service! Absolutely terrible and it seems there are so many more people in my situation.

Trying to cancel my reservation since Bali is still closed and am not receiving any responses to my emails. The place looks great but customer service is not looking good.

This resort owes me almost $4500 for accommodation booked for June 2020. They refuse to acknowledge emails, messages and any correspondence we send to them. Do not support such a terrible inept place!

The gardens are so tropical and makes you feel you are in Paradise

The Grand Mirage has spoilt our extended family for any other resort. The all inclusive package is amazing, the evening entertainment fabulous and the staff very friendly as efficient. Cannot recommend this resort highly enough. Looking forward to our next stay.

I had an amazing time in Bali! amazing hotel they were bringing us ice at 2am in the morning, staff is friendly, the have umbrellas at reception in case it rains and guests need to walk across the street for entertainment. It comes highly recommended.

Stayed here in April and it was wonderful. The AC unit in our room was broken, however, staff was incredibly accommodating and quickly moved us to a new room. We stayed in a balcony unit overlooking the pool and ocean, and it was beautiful. Great atmosphere if you are traveling with a large group or family. Fun, lively vibes where you can chat with other guests. No mosquito bites while we were there. Great food selection at the restaurants and pools weren't overly crowded. Loved the swim-up bar. Would recommend to anybody!

After reading some of the reviews on here I was a little bit apprehensive, but I can tell you. Its stunning clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Big TIP… Upgrade to all inclusive when you arrive it's well worth it… Food and drink… Food is brilliant and the presentation is excellent cooked fresh and very tasty. In a nut shell… A Brilliant Hotel.

The hotel is very much loved. The service is top notch and worth the money spent. 24/7 Help on any issues. Everything is very friendly. The hotel can please everyone, because there is a lot of entertainment (water aerobics, etc. ) the hotel grounds are amazing, for 7 days only a part saw. View from the hotel window. Oooh for it can give a lot.

The best hotel in Benoa area. We stayed in Beach view room with stunning view of the beach. Hospitality is just awesome. Food and drinks are reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. Best thing about the hotel are the wide range of indoor and outdoor activities. Lot of restaurants just outside the hotel. I Recommend a five star rating.

Stayed here on my recent stay to Bali with family. I was upgraded free to the ocean view room and I was amazed to see the efficiency of staff at the reception. What amazing experience. The staff in all departments here is just perfect and automated. You can always see them around there to help you. No matter where you are in this huge resort. Pools are amazing and beach in the hotel is awesome and there too you have a team to help you. Good food and view and experience and feeling and everything… these guys are just amazing and you just cannot ask anything more from a hotel. you made my holiday memorable guys. It’s a Good resort with awesome beach view. Beach was very clean and can be enjoyed swimming. They have huge sitting area on the beach which can be enjoyed. Place is very huge. They have Indian restaurant inside the premises which eases for customers who craves for Indian food. Breakfast spread was also good and includes multiples of options for veg and non veg. They have special corner for Indian breakfast. This resort is mostly crowded by Indian as they have Indian restaurant. Lastly, their swimming pool was big enough to enjoy and they have kids pool too.

I would like to recommend the amazing staff here. We have had a fantastic holiday with amazing food and service. I would particularly like to mention Merlin and Sri Julianti who have gone over and above to look after us and make our stay so memorable. I’d also like to mention Suardana the nurse who looked after my son when unwell and organised the doctor and medications within an hour to ensure he could carry on enjoying his holiday. I would recommend the Grand Mirage for an awesome holiday and look out for these amazing staff at the hotel. Thank you to all if you :)

Great resort. Excellent location in quite neighborhood but in the centre of action if you are looking for water sports. Private beach, a swimming pool and every comfort one could want. Evenings are a gala affair with performances from artists, a mini artisan crafts market right in the resort, three different restaurants serving food and drinks right on the tables laid out on beach … It's lively and serene at the same time…

Pool, bar, massage on the beach or at the spa, the rooms r big n luxurious. The food r remarkably good. Small shows performed by the workers. Grand buffet. Little gift shops inside the hotel. Really helpful people at the desk.

Do not recommend. The hotel is very dated. Nothing works well. Staff is not courteous. On the day of our check out water stopped in the middle of a shower. Front desk sent a plumber who did absolutely nothing. After a while water dripped a little from the shower but not warm but ice cold water. One plus is that it's on the beach. Food wasn't great either. If you plan to stay longer and have small kids I'd recommend it. It's value for money. The concierge desk too is very expensive. Try tours outside. Again the money changer gives you a bad rate. Again try outside for better rates. Will not be staying here again.

The rooms leave you want ingesbfore to be a 5 star hotel. The breakfast buffet is spectacular, there is plenty to choose from. And the hotel in general is beautiful. The pool part and the access to the beach are very good.

Great place for families! Great kids club and awesome pools! Rooms are excellent! Views to beach amazing, feels like you’re on an island not in Bali. Prices are expensive inside compared to outside so you need to toss up how much you will spend in there whether it’s worth to get all inclusive. We didn’t band we’re glad because restaurants inside were bit on the ordinary. Drinks not worth their prices either. Breakfast was good but no taste don’t know what was going on there. Lunch by the pool in family wing was amazing, best pizza! Never the less great place to stay!

Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… We stayed for 4 nights and definitely not enough for enjoying and experiencing the beauty of this place. Hotel was just AWESOME. I couldn't find even a small reason to complain. Every detail and every requirement is taken care of and the staff are amazing and always happy to help. About the beauty of this place, this hotel is located on beautiful beach and has a beach side restaurant. Just sitting by the beach at 10 in the night and enjoying the breeze is something you have to experience and can't be written. It was difficult to capture the beauty of this hotel and place in the pictures. Expect better than what you see in pictures here.

There are some reasons why I would not call this a 5 star resort. The room wasn't cleaned properly when we checked in. The mini bar was stocked with the lower grade beers and snacks. Also in the last week of our stay it seemed that the level of cleaning deteriorated for example the bar fridge was not stocked properly and the cleaning was not up to scratch. To be fair I have to comment on the good things as well. First the bad. When we arrived at the hotel we needed to swipe our credit card used to pay for the booking. There was a problem with the hotels card machine and it kept on returning an incorrect pin error. The attitude from the concierge manager was less than helpful which resulted in us having to make expensive calls to our bank who couldn't assist because the issue was with the card machine used by the hotel. This was unnecessary as we have just made a 22 hour commute from South Africa and just wanted to have shower and relax. This started our trip on a bad footing but on the positive side there were many reasons why I would return. The food at the resort was second to none. The variety was great ranging from Indian, Thai, Chinese, Australian, Indonesian, Italian and American. There are more than 5 restaurants on the resort and with the gold all inclusive option you could eat at all of them and have access to 24 hour room service. Drinks are included in the gold all inclusive except the hard tack was to local whiskies and vodkas which was the only downside.

Beautiful Hotel (not very modern), varied food, splendid view, with "All exclusive" drinks are at will, you can drink in the pool of cocktails (thanks to the bar), very nice!
The activities (for "all inclusive") are very durable (kayak, bicycles…).
The playroom is also very good for children to relax in the evenings (open to 0h00).
Without forgetting to see (not organized by the hotel) the jewelry UC Silver which is a very beautiful jewellery (with workshop visit) Gold and silver, prices vary between €50 and several million euros.

I cannot Express how disappointed and angry I am with the hotel and the staff. From the moment I arrived until now I have encountered one disappoint problem every step of the way. When I arrived I went to the check in counter, while waiting I did not receive a welcome drink or greeting. The receptionist said I must give him credit card for deposit, but the receptionist next to him did not require the couple to give him a credit card for a deposit. The guests simply said I dont want to and the receptionist said okay. After giving the receptionist my passport and credit card he told me my room was not ready so I must wait. However there were no open seats in the lobby for me to sit down. So I went outside to sit on the stairs leading to the lobby. To my surprise I saw my luggage still sitting there after 20 minutes with no security around, completely unattended. So I continue to sit outside for 20 more minutes because I did not want my luggage unattended. 40 minutes after my arrival my luggage was collected, at which time I was suppose to receive a luggage tag but I did not. Since my luggage had been collected I went back inside the lobby to try to find an open seat, but there were not any. Once again to my surprise my luggage sat there in the lobby for anyone to take. So I find a place close to my luggage to stand and keep an eye on it. After another 20 minutes of this I went back to reception and was told my room still was not ready.

What I have to say? There was miss communication and miss understanding between us but The Front Office Manager has been fixed up all miss understanding. They are willing to give their best that they can do for their guest. Sometime miss understanding is happen every where, as long as we have good willing to fix it then everythings will be fine. Good job. Thank you for Grand Mirage Management and its Front Office Manager, your willingness really appreciate. I hope I can stay here again and again in the future. Awesome place to stay. We have been there twice and will go back again. The staff is friendly, the while place is clean and well looked after. The resort isn't in the party area of Bali. It's great for families or people just wanting to relax. Our 4yo loved the kids club. The location is pretty great because you aren't in the heart of it all where it's loud and dirty, but you aren't tucked away where there is nothing to do either. There are great little restaurants, bars and shops just across the street and a Starbucks just a short walk away.

Obsolete and No 5 star value.

Spectacular! Breakfast is very varied, with the pool next door, the beach just outside the hotel, the treatment very good! The room clean, functional, the immense bed, the bathroom with shower and bathtub, and they waited for us with a welcome surprise!

I don't have a five. Overall not bad. Be careful with the food. In the morning at breakfast, after the holiday Ogoh-Ogoh, was seen the food from dinner. Despite the vigilance, poisoned (perhaps in the food moved evil spirits). The rooms are not big but tidy. The room was very clean. From the huge advantages: the first line, children's zone on 5 (children will love), helpful staff.

Very large resort with so much to do! The staff were all so friendly and the food was so good. Couldn't fault a single meal. The all inclusive package was fantastic.

Great pool, you can dive from the sides, somersault. Very expensive menu. The rooms are nothing like that, in one truth it smelt mould. The staff are friendly.

I had a great experience! The food was great. Breakfast was included during my stay. The hotel was very clean and the employees were very friendly. The employees also stopped by to see if my guests and I needed any extra towels. We had access to the beach, several pools, and entertainment for adults and children. There are restaurants and massage places near by if you do not want to use the hotel's restaurants or massage places. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Great relaxing resort. Spa was nice. Exercise room was very good. Beach was nice and the food choices were very good. Room service was really fast and tasty. Happy hour was good specials. We really enjoyed our week there. The breakfast buffet has several different cuisine's. Tasty.

Nice hotel, three pools one paddling up to 120cm with a slide, another adult up to 220cm, there is for the smallest up to 60cm. Breakfasts are good, lunch and dinner went to the street, the benefit of cafes a lot. Three supermarkets in walking distance, beer and coca were taken there, next to the official exchanges… Clean clean, the staff are responsive and always friendly. Lying in bulk, the beach is good, though at the ebb of seaweed. The hotel has two enclosures, the main and the family, swimming in the sea is better near the main, and the pool there is deep, and the family small pool with a slide and a fountain …

Great location, excellent service and polite staff. Unlike other on the beach, clean and nice to swim in the ocean. That's just the building is a bit old, but clean and tidy.

We stayed in grand resort for three nights. We had an amazing time here. It is one of the best resort we ever been to. Friendly staff, we were welcomed by Sukaya, he is amazing guy, and special thanks to (Roberto head chef), cooked food according to our need (vegan food). Highly recommended. If I ever come back to Bali, this will be the place where I will be staying.

Excellent all round but I give a 1 star deduction for the staff ignoring the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Other than this the resort and it's staff are very hospitable.

The Grand Mirage and Thalasso is essentially two neighbouring hotels combined. We stayed at the Grand Mirage (the older hotel), so to use the kids club area you have to walk a bit along the beach front or the road to the other newer hotel, so you are hassled by hawkers trying to sell every time you go back and forth. We have a 6 year old son, so we wanted somewhere with a good kids club where he could make some friends and do activities together. Grand Mirage is very nice, however, not well designed. The water playground area is not part of the pool area and is set on its own, with primarily bench style seats and walls around it and is small and confined. You cannot lounge around and relax while your kids play here, which is why when we were there (for 7 days) it is almost unused. The main pool for the newer hotel does have one large slide and a rock climbing wall which is good for older kids. The kids club room was very good with two separate areas for younger and older kids. The older kids area has a number of play station consoles, which the kids basically got on and stay on. Unfortunately, kids being kids, let them on electronics and they won't do much else, you could see that with lots of kids, including ours… so he wasn't really doing the playing and friend making we were hoping for. They really need to make the water playground part of the kids club and bring in some other interactive games like the air hockey table.

We payed for the all inclusive option. Staff was great. Several places nearby to eat if we didn't want eat at hotel. Pool had enough shade that I could use it. Would definitely stay here again.

It's 1827h and I've been drinking since 1425h. I'm quite socially lubricated and all for free (or prior purchased depending on how you look at it). Excellent atmosphere and amenities. Seriously fantastic staff and good food. Everything you could ask for in a hotel experience.

Grand Miraje is nice ocean view property and also nice pool, garden. Property (room need maintenance such as bathroom door, shower etc). Staff are so nice.

Staff lacks in initiative and of course they are hapless in communicating specially in english. You can overhear noises from the neighbouring rooms, that speaks a lot about privacy. The comod (W C) has surprisingly higher water levels and when we showed it to the staff, they claimed it to be normal which to me seemed to be very unheiginic. The property is grand but the heart of hosts seemingly is quite small or may be they are overworked. Somehow I felt as if I am in a PG with a great location and facilities. Which is a likely case in a luxurious old age home.

Overall OK… but the food is average, drinks too. Night to eat anywhere. Close to many shops, had to walk there sometimes. Fortunately many nearby and cafes. The beach is not much. The brownish sand, the ocean too)

The hotel is great. Wonderful views, service, food and very clean. The daily buffet breakfast included is amazing.

The hotel is average, the food is repetitive, the beach is small, the bottom is in algae, one pool situation will not save a memorable holiday.

The hotel is old, but all on the level. Of huge downsides — in the ocean swimming impossible because of the terrible smell of gasoline and oil slicks on the water.

Hotel and rooms seem to have come a little bit over the Years. The bathroom I give 2-3 stars (simple bathtub and glass shower are today standard and toilet in the bathroom next to the shower is also not a highlight), which also has to be opened with wooden folding shop to open the partition ("window" to the Interior) nothing changes. If most of the numerous guests (many families with Children) with bathing shoes, Bath-shirt and tournament for breakfast appear (mostly the gentlemen), then this for me is not a 5-star hotel, especially as it is very noisy at Breakfast. You can forget to swim in the sea, as you can easily walk up to the delimiting buoys through the daily ebb, wading through marine tang, and thus missing any swimming pleasure. Also, numerous broken hotel loungers on the beach and pool do not allow to close a 5-star hotel.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and also the daily shuttle to the collection (restaurants and Shops) reconcile a bit.

Great room view in our suite, however… aircond was weak and barely got below 25 degrees, the internet only made the distance to the toilet in our room, the door to the balcony did not close letting in mosquitoes all night (needed to sleep with insect repelant all night) very romantic, the power adapter was said to be avialable to all roo s apon request although one room had booked it out, the food was way overpriced and cold and neved came out together, the hotel transfer to the airport could not help in taking us to our second hotel (in kuta). This place was the worst place I have stayed at in bali.

Good Hotel but they are not customers centric for the price you pay. I had double the value for half the price in Ubud. Considering its a family destination they should do more in terms of kids activities. Also meals very not the best at breakfast or the Indian restaurant. All the restaurants on site are way too expensive, hence you can't make this a one stop destination for a relaxed holiday. Taxi service was 7 times the Uber or Grab taxi.

The service is fabulous. The staff are very lovely and polite and will do anything for you with a smile. Get an all inclusive package if available, it certainly is well worth it. The package includes all food, all drinks (alcoholic as well) all mini bar drinks, room service food, water sport vouchers, all theme nights, devdan show vouchers. The beds and pillows are very comfy with plump pillows! The daily room clean is excellent and twice daily they will give you clean bath towels. Pool towels are lovely and big and plentiful. The facilities are fabulous with many pools and a well catered for kids area. If you have small (0-12) children get a room in the kids club wing of the resort because you are close to everything kid friendly… including their kids water park! Honestly you don't really need to leave the resort! Massage across the street in the shops will cost $6—$7 per hour for full body … they are great and we'll worth a try. On the beach the massage ladies will do the same for same price. The resort also offers free 1 hour yoga classes daily, free water aerobics, free beach soccer and volleyball, (kayaking and catarmaraning and windsurfing lessons are also provided for all inclusive packages! ) BEST HOLIDAY EVER! Biggest decision each day is which restaurant to eat in!

Old & dated building, which shows through in architecture and plumbing. 2. ACs & locks mostly out of order or ineffective. 3. Anything but a 5 Star. 3.5 star resort at best. 4. Enough variety in buffets & meals but quality of fruits not the best. 5. The beach is full of sea weed (not their fault) and water is akin to a lake (No waves)

Really expensive if your not all inclusive the beach is a joke really.

Nice hotel. But the beach is average.

I have no problem with the accommodation or facilities of the Grand Mirage, for the price it is fine although there are much better options. The issue I had is with the 'ALL INCLUSIVE PACKAGE"' which is essentially an extra USD$115 which on the face of it appears to be good value. Certainly their web site makes some cloudy statements as to the wonderful benefits that allege to be offering under this package. NOTE : You will be drinking LOCAL SPIRTS AND BEERS ONLY in your 'all inclusive package and if your anything like my wife, she was throwing up all night and half the next day after having had just 2 cocktails, off course created with their local spirits. Im very thankful she only had 2. The Rum, Burbon, Cask Wine etc is all 'local' versions of the real thing as is the beer, tastes revolting. Bintang is apparently described as a "premium' beer in this ridiculous sham of an excuse for an all inclusive package. I would think no other place on earth would describe Bintang as a "premium beer', certainly no other hotel, restaurant anywhere throughout Indonesia that I have travelled and I have been to many remote places over the years. These 'premium' drinks are standard everywhere else in the world but are made available to you after 9pm to ensure costs are kept to a minimum. Its not expensive to eat or drink there however the food is consistently terrible and I would suggest you eat across the road, very cheap and good food in numerous places.

When we arrived the room was dirty and it smelt. I paid for a double and single bed and we were given 2 single beds in there. The manager was rude and wasn't intrested in helping us and told us sorry but we are fully booked what you get is what you get. I asked for a refund and he told me l have to charge you 1 night for cancellation fee for not staying. What a JOKE! After argueeing all night as it was 3am in the morning we were told the the refund will be processed back on our credit card within 4 days. Now its the 3 week we are back from bali and no refund. Have called the hotel in regards to our refund and they are playing dum and telling me the refund office is on annual leave :) ) ) ) I DONT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE, THEY ARE SCUM AND THEIFHS. SHERATON HOTEL, KUTA is where you should be going guys.
