➜ A very nice place with a very welcoming staff. The view of Mount Agung is magnificent with the mounds in the foreground. The room has a lot of charm and very spacious. The hike taken with the hotel could have been better (we walked too much on the road to taste min) but there are other itineraries so feel free to say what you like.
In any case, we will stay there again for the hotel and also the restaurant.
Had a great stay for 5 days at Giri Carik. The bed and breakfast is a great value! The staff were super attentive and arranged multiple outings and transportation for us hassle free. The view from the hotel is lovely and it is located right on the main little tourist strip (note: this contains basically just restaurants and other little hotels with their own cafes/restaurants) where we got massages and did yoga at a neighboring hotel one of the days. A great but simple place from which to explore the rice terraces of Sidemen or with a driver/car the nature of East/North Bali. The only real issue was that, when we were there at least, the Wi-Fi was limited to right around the reception/lobby area and didn't reach our little villa. Not too big a deal since it was nice to disconnect a bit while on holiday but good to know up front.
