We have been here for 5 days and our villa is very roomy, clean and lovely view of the country side. Peaceful and calming. Lovely attentive staff. Most villas have stairs to get to but you can overlook that with the serenity and appeal of the resort. Food has been good too.

Beautiful place in the middle of the jungle. Very clean in every way. Good restaurant. Some insects and lizards might keep you awake.

My wife and I staped at this resort for the first part of our honeymoon. This place is fantastic! If we had known how great this place was we would have booked the resort for our entire trip. The breakfast was phenomenal, the spa was fair priced and was worth it. It is also in the perfect spot for tours. Most tours will pick you up right there. When we plan a trip back to bali this will be the only resort we will look into.

Beautiful hotel, great cuisine both at dinner and breakfast, I recommend you to book dinner so you will also get a discount.
The Menu changes every day, the rooms very clean and with stunning views. Recommended for both a few days and long periods.

We stayed in a junior deluxe room. Wonderful interior design, and little enclosed balcony/sitting room. Beautifully planted gardens between each bungalow that are set on the side of a ravine over looking a river. The incline is steep and you need a small degree of fitness to walk to your room, I have a feeling there are more accessible rooms too, but it wasn’t an issue for us. Pool is lovely for cooling off after a days sightseeing and the bar is a lovely setting to enjoy cocktails at happy hour.

This is a place I like so much since make me feels energize and relax live in nature. You can hear sound of the water from the river with a fresh air. You just need books, food and may be a bit wine to make it perfect. ❤

Lovely Hotel. Of the Cons: small common hotel and very chlorinated and little sunbeds close By. But we lived on the top and we had a pool of our own. The Rest is fine! The View, furnishings, rooms, service, food and drinks are all great!

The hotel is great, the scenery also seen from the beautiful room, 2 pool 1 lying at the top and the other more with seen sublime only downside is to go up the walk it's sporty. Limited transportation, I advise you to rent a scooter it is cheap and very convenient to get around.
For me it's the breakfast that has me the least packed for a 4 star there are some great efforts to make at this level there.

A wonderful resort hotel. Free parking. The staff are really nice and helpful. They offer everything you need. You can enjoy a refreshing breakfast with the fabulous scenery. If you like to immerse yourself in nature, you’re gonna love it.

Beware of the tours the hotel very cute but beware of the tours you contrtais. We were deceived when buying in the staff the tickets to Gili Meno… much more expensive and the bad transfer… plus we had to pay an extra to get to the destination and that we had already paid in the hotel.

Pleasant surprise we were not too sure what to expect… This surpassed our expectations! Beautiful place! Friendly staff and for a change breakfast is good!

I really enjoyed Ulun Ubud. It has great views, good looking rooms and very helpful, plus pleasant, staff. I must say that the different junior deluxe suites available are very different to each other and do not seem to be to the same standard, perhaps these distinctions could be made clearer. Also the pool area needs reorganising but is still nice. It's a very special place which does a good job on catching the Ubud spirit.

Excellent reception n staff service. Lovely view of the pool and opposite forest from the junior deluxe suite. Restaurant serving is fast. Staff Supriani is engaging n provides excellent service. But ac is not cool n one needs to be wary of an additional step at the entrance of the junior deluxe suite. Tv channels do not have HBO but with fox movie.

I can only recommend this place. Attentive and approachable staff, great food and beautiful setting.

Good place. About 3 kms from the palace. Drop and pickup services from palace, shopping places and Saraswati temple.

It is really awesome place to stay. We had a nice hill view and amazing river flowing sound. Stuffs are really great, very friendly and professional. Even their tour plans are great.

Beautiful location and facilities. The room was fresh and clean and the view breathtaking. Delicious breakfast and very good service overall. If you do t want to spend your money on restaurant, spa and laundry services available on site there are a few affordable and good alternatives nearby (Skin spa, Fuzion cafe etc).

17th It's a very quiet place with good view. We spent 4 nights there. However we won't feel welcome when first day we check in. Their front desk service is poor. 1. We reminded them that we booked quiet room with better view. They said, "we can't not do anything" with cool voice and seemed to be bother. 2. If you need to change room, front desk staff ask you go out of your room and wait 2 hours until 1400 then check in again. (We are the customers, the way they speak is like to ask you to get out of your room. ) 3 We hoped if they could clean our room earlier to let us in earlier. They just said " It's your problem to book different rooms. " (I think they blame me book too many rooms there) 4. We told then our problem, one girl in the front desk even fought with us and ordered us to sit beside not in front of the desk. Actually, We have been to Bali more than 15 times, never had this kind of bad  experience. When you have any problem, the way of they speak is no warming and kindness. You won't feel welcome there.  The way they speak really can ruin your good mood. I don't know why they hire such a bad manner and arrogant staff in their front desk and not just one. However, their room's quality is good and very clean. Their restaurant food, service is very good. It's a elegant resort with reasonable price. 18th After talking to their manager, they have improved a lot. 1. We change our new room at 11o'clock. 2. They offer two room to let us check. 3.

Very quiet place, haven like scenery, beautiful privet villa, staff are friendly. Love the free shuttle service from the city centre to the hotel. Breakfast was ok. My only negative feedback at the services prices are 3 or 4 times more expensive the usual. There were no internet single at the room and we asked the reception but they did not do anything about it.

Great, wonderful hotel with a lovely view of the famous painter's trail from the back side! Open views are just amazing! :-) The location is a 5 minute drive from the centre of Ubud.

Here we discover what Asian luxury means. The hotel as a whole is decorated with pleasure. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it has many stairs, so if possible ask for room in the top area, close to the front desk.

The resort is beautiful, located a little away from the center of Ubud. What I liked: 1 — The breakfast menu is amazing, it changes everyday and is not a buffet, which I personally liked. 2 — The staff are very courteous and very nice people 3 — The room is clean and spacious, nice bathrooms and bathtub. 4 — Food in general was very good 5 — shuttle to ubud center (hourly from 9am to 5pm) What I didn't like : 1 — There was no bottle opener in the room (someone got it to us and opened bottle and left, but it's inconvenient) 2 — There was no iron box in the room 3 — There was no creamer in the room 3 — We had a fruit basket and mini bar free — this was so pointless — it was just 5 pieces of cut tiny fruit and 1 can of sprite and coke, that's just plain cheap. 4 — You've to request for return shuttle when you leave Unless you've a local phone access Overall it's a good place, has its downsides though.

Beautiful hotel, great rooms, incredibly good service and delicious food! The included breakfast is the absolute insane. You can choose from a daily variation a 3-course breakfast menu:) Top! I'll be back.

We didn’t enjoy here too much because the balcony of the room is not private unfortunately, it’s walkable by anyone. The worst thing is our only view window is just face to the balcony. We cannot enjoy the view cause the balcony is not private… Wi-Fi is very weak in room. The price of some additional service they provided such as scooter rental and taxi were all twice higher then fair price!

Peacefully and so Naturally make you fully recharge when you stay. We really love this resort Wonderful landscape. No reason why we don't be back.

5 Stars are NOT enough for this fantastic hotel and it's staff. The staff is fantastic and so helpfull and smiling — the meals are fantastic — the rooms are fantastic — the service is fantastic — the view from our rooms were stunning.
We would so much like to return to our room Gadung some time in the future.

Amazing resort! Very quiet. Very beautiful. People are friendly. Due to the hilly resort, you get some good exercise just walking in and out of your room. Made impromptu request at breakfast for a surprise birthday treat and they pulled it off effortlessly and without a fuss.

Wonderful area called Ubud where this piece of heaven is located: Ulun Ubud Resort. I thank all the staff for their hospitality, help and smiles. I wanted to explore the island too much, if I knew it I would have stayed most of the time in this beautiful and peaceful hotel. Breakfasts were cool.

The best hotel I've stayed by far, newly renovated and really good value for your money. The staff was really nice and thoughtful, the best! Multiple breakfast options that changed daily and you could see that they were made by a chef. Incredible pool and view. Would definitely come back here :)

We really loved staying here. It's quiet and tucked away into the hillside, with a beautiful pool and comfortable modern rooms, plus an amazing view. The staff are very friendly, and extremely helpful. However as we were pretty much the only people staying here it seemed like we had 5 people waiting on us ever time we ate at the restaurant or bar, and then other times there wouldn't be a staff in sight as they got bored waiting around for us to use some facilities — this was also nice because we had the whole pool area for ourselves over lunch. The only thing I'd say which detracted was the menu at the restaurant was only a dozen actual meals, most of which were overly western, like a steak and cheeseburger. I will say the Asian fusion part of the menu was really good, as was the pizza and BLT for lunch. They definitely know what they're doing. Expect the food and drink to be about twice the price of local cafes, but still half what you'd pay in Australia. They have a full bar menu (by Bali standards) so they can put together most classics, and a few hard to find bottles of wine. Pro tip: this is the jungle, so bring bug spray to repel all kinds of small bites (same goes for all of Bali really)

We stayed at Ulun Ubud 25 years ago when it was new and returned many times with friends. It is no longer quite the place it once was, but the staff are very friendly and the price ($35/day) is a quarter what other places nearby are charging. I strongly recommend Ulun Ubud. Food in nearby restaurants is cheap ($3-4 for dinner) and there are many beautiful things to see while walking, especially if you leave the main roads.
