Staying at the Viceroy was one of the most luxurious three day getaway’s I could have had for my 16 year anniversary. They are impeccable with their service, no detail is overlooked. From the food, to the specialty drinks this spot is an absolute must. We stayed in the two bedroom Viceroy villa.

Nothing less than 5 stars for The Viceroy! Everything about this place is perfect! Beautiful location, luxurious rooms and wonderful staff. Two top class restaurants to choose from and a free private shuttle service to Ubud should you wish to eat outside of the hotel. Cascades Restaurant is just wonderful but if you want an ‘out of this world’ dining experience then we definitely recommend the Viceroy’s new Restaurant, Aperitif! Probably one of the top restaurants in the world. The spa is also top class, especially the two hour body scrub, massage and flower bath! Anything you need can be arranged for you. Nothing is too much trouble! Absolutely perfect for couples wanting a quiet retreat, honeymooners and those of you like us, who were celebrating 30 years of marriage. Just superb!

The most beautiful hotel with stunning views! Peace and tranquillity that is lovely to come "home" to, after the bustle and noise of Ubud. Wonderful restaurant with delicious, beautifully presented food. But far and away above anything else, the staff here are the most friendly, helpful, attentive staff I have come across anywhere in the world. It doesn't feel right to talk about 'service' : this is a family hotel and the staff make you feel like you are their favourite family member coming to stay! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Excellent stay from start to finish. Suites were first class, fine dining each night was a treat. Lovely pool area and tasty cocktails. Staff were amazing throughout. Highly recommended.

A beautiful tranquil luxurious hotel set on the edge of a jungle valley and surrounded by rice fields. Exceptional service from everyone and so nice to see the owners being a part of the daily routines. The hotel is outside of Ubud but they run a complimentary shuttle into the hustle & bustle of this artistic community.

By far the best hotel in Bali, full of surprises and great staff! just wished we stayed longer no doubt we will be back.

Good for only couples, not with family. Uncooperative front desk staff. Doesn’t add to over all experience. Too much marketing but doesn’t match up the expectations.

Truly one of the best hotels ive stayed at in the world! the attention to detail is for me not only inspiring but refreshing. We stayed in a villa with a private heated pool that had a cabana that seemed to float next to the infinity edge pool with a spectacular view of a jungle hill side. One morning after indulging in a wonderful breakfast in our cabana, I slipped into the pool and gazed at the jungle across from me, within a few minutes I spotted a couple monkeys playing in the palm trees, I took a sip of coffee… this is truly paradise!

Of course, it's a "palace". We enjoyed the best villa in this hotel, a really great one, high quality, impressive experience. But! Service is poor quality (checking and checkout were very bad experience despite our "VIP" selection), slow, let us wait, no late checkout, low attention… Clearly not what expected for such a price. Otherwise, the site is very beautiful, in the jungle but not in Ubud center (you have free shuttle, but not convenient)

This hotel is divine. I am In live with this resort. The staff is incredible. The views are amazing, the food is outstanding! You can not go wrong if you’re looking for a posh hotel in Bali! I highly reccomend!

The rooms are truly luxurious, the team are incredibly welcoming and make you feel like you’re at home from home and, most importantly, relaxed. It’s well worth taking the time to get to know them. They have so much to offer. Hope to stay here again!

Gorgeous villa and unbelievable service. Not to mention, the restaurant is above and beyond any other place we went to in Bali. Granted. It’s about 3-5x the price, it’s totally worth it for a special night. The exec chef is a great chap as well. The included breakfast is serving style with a menu catered to everyone and anyone. If you’re trying to make your honeymoon or trip special. This is the place. Hands down. I would love to answer any other questions about Viceroy as well!

An amazing hotel, incredible views in the tropical lush rainforest and the wonderful warm hospitality of the staff! The food is amazing particularly the breakfast — you must try the coconut French toast! The staff are wonderful and always happy to help. Special thanks to Made and Chess our wonderful guides who took us to explore the nearby surroundings. Would recommend to all!

Incredible place. The villas are stunning, the staff are the friendliest people we've ever met. The food is a great balance between tasty local food and worldwide. We were absolutely gutted to leave.

Beautiful location, great breakfast and superb service. Quite unique in a lot of ways, it's right by rice terraces (not the famous ones where tourists go), high on a hill that you can see Mt. Agung on a clear day, watch monkeys jump from tree to tree while having breakfast. Golf cart service to/from room, and shuttle to Ubud is super convenient. Beautiful room, warm pool is a very thoughtful idea. Very well maintained property overall, what we didn't like: (1) full marble floor in the room that made conditions slippery and unsafe (2) smell in the room, not sure if that was due to mold or cleaning detergent (3) concierge didn't seem knowledgeable about tourist attractions, or have a structured way to guide us on attractions nearby (4) ants in the room — granted it's Bali-wide issue but considering other 5 star hotels in the region has fixed this, it could be improved here as well. All that said, would highly recommend and go back again.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with a beautiful and nice staff. Gorgeous view at breakfast overlooking the jungle. We had a personal pool outside our sliding doors with view of the same jungle. Couldn't consider another place if/when we return. 6/5 stars.

One of the most luxurious Villa ever stayed. Room, pool, and service are all top-notch. The restaurant is also very good, especially the breakfast.

An absolutely stunning hotel. The accommodation was amazing, especially the high level of finishes and the villa was extremely spacious. The private pool was breathtaking with views of the forest. We even had a visit from a family of local monkeys. I thought the daily fresh fruit a lovely touch. Thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities. The massage was one of the best I have ever experienced. The restaurant offered numerous options that were delicious. The staff and managers were extremely professional, approachable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend the Viceroy for those wanting a zen holiday in paradise.

Very high-end, gorgeous location, extraordinary master chef, stupendous miniature villas. The staff of all duties of course are highly trained. Just bring a Platinum bank card when you come.

Well this is exactly what you would expect of a Viceroy hotel, the experience is seamless and the service is excellent. It is a Western style hotel with small Indonesian influences. The restaurant (CasCades) is excellent (if quite close to Western prices) and the scenery is out of this world!

Stunning hotel and fantastic service. It was clear everyone was there to make sure I stay was the best possible. We had a minor issue with our private pool which was resolved immediately and without us even knowing when they fixed it.

Stayed here on the second part of our honeymoon, coming from Marina Bay Sands in Singapore which is an amazing hotel but The Viceroy made it look standard. The Viceroy is perfection, couldn't fault one thing about the resort. The staff are as friendly as they come, the food is amazing, the views are breathtaking. Also we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite which is absolutely amazing (thank you for the upgrade, certainly made the honeymoon more special) this is one place and trip we'll never forget. Without doubt the greatest place I've ever visited. Made to feel special as soon as you enter the lobby, thank you for making the honeymoon more special for us both.

Perfect weekend getaway from Singapore. Last minute booking as we really needed some space away from work. Normally we are adventurers but this time we just made full use of the spa (honestly best massage ever), private pool and cocktails. Super friendly, sweet local staff.

We were over there for 5 days and every thing was grate, the location was you look like were in a paradise, the staff were very friendly and the rooms very clean the speed for our requests very fast, I miss you viceroy and congratulations to your great and special hotel.

If you want romantic luxury honeymoon in the middle of the jungle, just go for it. If you are a caring husband or Lovable father also go for it. They have private villas and suites with all have a private pools. They have Fitness center, Spa, Bar, Wheel chair access, Restaurant, Pool, Free Parking, Breakfast & Wi-Fi… List still continues. If you are a married couple just go and feel the majestic ambiance and if you are a family man with children then also go for it to spend few days in Mesmerizing location. They had a luxurious private dinner at the pool (you have to pre book that) and it is just AMAZING! Strongly recommend it for newlyweds and also for family stay.

Pure luxury! Wow! My husband and I stayed here for a week in March 2016 for the second part of our honeymoon and we had the most amazing time. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in and has set my standards probably a bit too high! Nowhere I have stayed since has come close to the level of amazing-ness of this place and The Oberoi. The staff are so kind and welcoming, very happy to help. We entered our room and as it was our anniversary there was a beautiful cake waiting for us. A little elephant to keep as a souvenir. Chocolates were given every day in these cute little beaded trinket boxes. Lots of sweet little touches that make the stay extra special. The private pool is always hot, the view from the pool and room is so overwhelmingly stunning. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are all fantastic. They have a private taxi service instead of a shuttle service. They only go up to certain points but get you as close to your destination as possible. The spa is amazing, we had the 90 full body massage and treatment. It was just what we needed after climbing the Volcano Batur! As it was our honeymoon, they set up a romantic dinner for us just in front of the infinity pool. One single table with flower petals leading to it and beautifully placed around it. It felt so special. 5 courses of tasty and interesting food catered to our lacto vegetarian diet.

Viceroy Bali is a Five Star hotel that aims to push boundaries of luxury and comfort. Their staff are well mannered and are always looking for more ways to help and serve you. Access to your Villa or room is done via a Golf Buggy resulting in a hassle free experience. Cascades Restaurant never fails to impress for any culinary occasion. Viceroy is the place to go for relaxation and comfort. I had the pleasure of celebrating NYE there and was not disappointed.

This hotel is stunning in every way. From the option to arrive by helicopter (8 seater or 4 seater), this 25 private-villa resort will transport you to another world through the fine dining, the infinity pool in your private villa, the views from your very own bale of the jungle-clad Petanu River Gorge, which is nothing short of spectacular. Enjoy a capaccino from your own expresso machine in your room and awake to the dawn chorus of birdsong. Professional staff who really show they love guests and you will meet the two owners who live on site too and that equates to a level of service above five star. A very romantic hotel.

I dont understand Why they prohibit me taking picture. 750 dollars one night but the view is not so matching. Japanese like here.

I was here on my honeymoon don't knowing what to expect and we fell in love with the hotel as soon as we arrived. The service is excellent and the food is exquisite, from breakfast to dinner… everything we tried was great. Having the jungle as a background for everything is amazing. If you have a chance you should definitely stay here.

Just excellent! Staff is very kind and helpful, the food at Cascades Restaurant is great (one of the best chefs in Ubud), the villas are spacious, very comfortable and have everything you need for a romantic stay.

The villa where we stay has a beautiful view, it clean, spacious, and modern facilities. Staffs are nice and helpful. We had breakfast in the bale while watching beautiful sunrise. Very recommend this hotel.
