The hotel was perfectly clean, as was the restaurant, pool and transport vehicle. Everything worked, no issues whatsoever. The food was yummy, but the most impressive was the service. It was incredible. Incredible! Communication was excellent, requests were actioned promptly and efficiently (such as requests for a softer bed, a DVD player and other requests) and staff went above and beyond, all with a smile. I got given a birthday cake on my birthday, my boyfriend got extra special care plus a card and fruit plate after he became unwell and we felt so looked after. It was so good to stay in a hotel that has your back and treats you like family. Awesome. Thank you!

Sapodilla Hotel was our first stop in Ubud, Bali and was a lovely welcome after our long journey from London. The rooms are spacious, modern and spotless and ensuite includes both a bath and separate shower. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and offer a free afternoon tea service between 2-4pm. The pool area is beautiful surrounded by tropical plants offering the perfect place to relax. We stayed for 3 nights and would highly recommend to others!

Stayed here for 4 nights, the staff were superb. Super friendly, great service. Great breakfast options brought up to our room for no extra charge. My wife was sick one of the days we stayed there and they brought up a get well basket and a card signed by all the staff. Rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was beautiful and the noise levels were very quiet.

This is an outstanding hotel. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Great facilities such as room service, free breakfast, free shuttle. Best hotel I have stayed at, the staff make the place what it is. Would stay here again and would definitely recommend to others. Wonderful place to spend our honeymoon I have loved every minute of it and don’t want to go home.

The rooms are beautiful and big, the beds are comfortable, the food is great, the pool and garden are serene and very beautifully built, but the true treasure (as it is the case with Bali itself) was the wonderful people who tended to our needs and made us feel pampered and loved. We cannot be grateful enough.

I absolutely love this hotel! The staff were amazing. The best part of the experience — they helped with everything, they gave us a free mobile phone and if we ever needed anything they were only a quick phone call away. That included a free shuttle service from wherever we were in ubud, so no taxis were ever needed. Free afternoon tea by the pool was a pure delight and I loved the fresh exotic fruit at breakfast every morning. Can't wait to return in June for round 2! Just book, you won't regret it. I have so much confidence in these guys I even booked a room for my girlfriend's parents… That's seriously not something I could afford to be wrong on :)

Best in Ubud. Stayed here with my partner in February (he surprised me with a trip here! ). Clean rooms, amazing luscious green gardens surrounding the pool. Most of all the staff are the most attentive and friendly I have ever come across! Never a sad moment. We are returning in June with the rest of my partner's family.

Amazing place that looks exactly as pictured. The staff were AMAZING. They wrote me a sweet welcome card and knew my name almost instantly. The breakfast was delicious. I enjoyed sitting in the restaurant over looking the busy road. Bed was firm, as they are in Asia, but the room was immaculate, the pool area is beautiful and, again, the staff was lovely. The location is good. It’s not right in the thick of it but all of central Ubud is walkable. I had the first room on the ground level which left me feeling a bit exposed-as literally every one must walk past to come or go, but the curtains sorted that just fine. I hope to return again one day!

Beautiful tranquil hotel with pool. Rooms with terrace overlooking pool. Very helpful staff who are always there if required. Very tasty breakfast choice. Central to Ubud main street.

Great hotel with a very good restaurant but pay attention to the price of the transfer, we paid 800k to go to the north of the island while a good price would have been more 500k damage. Otherwise it's still affordable for the quality of the offer.

Nothing to add to the other reviews. This was lightyears better than 4/5 and 5/5 star hotels we've visited in Bali. This is THE place, deffinately coming back! Tip: if you want to buy foods/drinks/snacks of your own ask for a ride to Pepito grocery-store.

Great experience at Sapodilla. Relaxing villa well located in the centre of Ubud. Attentive and friendly staff, nice pool. Breakfast was excellent. They also offer free shuttle to travel within Ubud which was useful. From airport it was 1.5 hours with hotel pick-up. On the way back we took Grab for less than half the price.

Close to centre, rooms are very nice and clean. Very secluded and staff are lovely, curtains closed and bed turned down in evening.

Absolutely loved our stay. The staff were so lovely and helpful. The hotel is small but the rooms are luxurious. Book a massage at their spa on top of the breakfast serving area it has a view of the rooftops and trees and you can hear the sounds of daily life around you until you wake yourself up snoring from being so relaxed.
The breakfasts were nice, we had lunch on our veranda from the restaurant in front of the hotel, it was lovely. There are many nice restaurants walking distance (even for an older person with a injured knee! ) There is an Argentinian grill restaurant a few doors up that is well worth a visit too. And pop into the ARMA museum which is right nearby too.
We will definitely return! I am planning to bring my grown children to stay here one day soon.

Wow! What a view from the room on second floor. While we are hoping for ground floor which is next to the pool, it was fully booked. The hotel lady told us second floor has more privacy. I agreed. The service here is very personal like visiting a friend.

Super Friendly service. The location is also amazing with loads of cafes nearby and the city market just a short walk away. Ideal place to explore the rice fields, volcano lakes and a bunch of temples.

Great hotel great service and great staff. Breakfast in your room is really good and tasty. Location we found to be perfect, 10 minutes to monkey forest ect. Loads of restaurants cafes shops taxis supermarkets on same road.

It's a welcoming and warm place. The best part of the hotel is that they provide you free cab service to drop off and pickup from the place nearby in d city. They also suggest good places to visit while the stay and even after. The staff is very warm and friendly. I had a good time certainly.

Really glad we booked with Gungdek to stay at the Sapodilla guest homes. We stayed five nights in Ubud and enjoyed the food, service, hospitality, and getting to know the entire Sapodilla family. Upon arrival in the late evening, we were greeted in the lobby with a refreshing tea drink. We were then taken to our room… we were informed about breakfast service, given a cell phone to call and communicate anytime with a Sapodilla family member, and informed about the free shuttle service to any place in Ubud. Such awesome bonuses staying at the Sapodilla. Overall, super great service from all Sapodilla family, very tasty breakfast, the home is centrally located in town, and the room was clean. I would like to thank every Sapodilla family member that helped us make our visit unforgettable. We'll see you again!

Wow! Great place to land in Bali — tho it may spoil you forever! Excellent luxurious accommodations plus generous and warm staff! Great location for peace and quiet but close to everything. The custom driving service with on call cell phone provided makes you feel like a VIP. Afternoon tea with Balinese treats by the pool! You will not be disappointed! Thanks to all the staff and felt owner! Oh! Great breakfast too!

Unmatched service! Thanks to everyone at Sapodilla for the fantastic service, lot to learn for the bigger chains from Sapodilla, I would recommend this small and quaint hotel for a travel and tourism award from TA. The attention to detail, the concern and care, the overall hospitality cannot be expected even at the Marriott's, Hilton's & Hyatt's. The property itself has everything you need, a pool, a restaurant (serving some amazing fare), an experienced spa therapist (on request). Very soon this hotel is going to be the most booked place in Ubud, I'm certain of it. Keep up the good work guys, you're going places! They provide free breakfast, free shuttle services to and fro to Ubud central, a cellphone to every guest to call the hotel for emergency or otherwise, and they will go out of their way to arrange anything you may need. The staff are young, active, spirited and ready to work hard to make your stay memorable! Loved it here, can't wait to come back!
