Puri Gardens felt like a little chilled oasis with spacious and clean rooms, great outside space to relax with pool and hammocks. Amazing food and drinks and nice extras, such as morning yoga and free massage and manicure/pedicure. Good place to meet other travellers!

Beautiful place with garden, pool, yoga classes and delicious food. The vegan burger is delicious! Friendly and helpful staff. I highly recommend this gem!

The hostel / hotel is very nice. The pool and the area in front of the pool looks very nice and is always clean. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff is very friendly and always on the spot. Massage and pedicure and manicure are included. The atmosphere is great.

Amazing hostel when I walked in I thought am I even in the right place?! This place is so nice for a backpackers it’s like paradise! I spent a week here and could of stayed forever, all the staff are amazing and so friendly and welcoming — if you come alone you won’t be alone for long I guarantee it! Perfect location right near the monkey forest and yoga barn and so many other amazing places — if your going to stay anywhere in Ubud make sure it’s this place free yoga and breakfast every day — movie nights — bbq nights and live music — it can’t be beaten!

This place is incredible. A little more expensive than other places but SO worth it. The room and social areas are all stunning and it’s the perfect place to meet people — we came back for a second stay because we had the most incredible time. So much going on and we’ve made incredible friends every time. Holly, Maddie and Connor have made our stay so much fun every time, they’re so friendly and great at getting people involved. The morning Yoga run by Maddie is wonderful also. Would stay here forever if I could!

Great staff at the hotel, Madi and Holly are great! Beds are super comfy, and the pool is so nice. Restaurant has some lovely food and the place is always busy and really sociable! Would recommend this hostel to anyone!

So happy we decided to stay here! What a place. SO worth the money. Beautiful rooms, great pool and communal areas and very easy to meet people! Loved the free yoga classes and breakfast. Such a good vibe over all. Highly recommend!

This is a very beautiful and comfortable hostel. It has the nicest rooms and the biggest beds you can get in Ubud. The first thing that surprised me is how expensive it is. It’s 8 bed dorms (the cheapest) range between $18 to $35 USD. It’s private room range between $60 to $118 USD. With that amount you can get a 5 star hotel in Bali. That makes me drop one star ⭐️. The water pressure is is extremely weak, if other people are taking shower and the hot water becomes nonexistent based on how many people are taking a shower. For the prices you pay, that’s just unacceptable… this makes me drop another ⭐️ star. The vibe here is good… depending on what you’re looking for. It’s more of a yoga, I want to chill and be in my zen zone vibe here. Everyone is friendly, but not very socializing and conversations are short. It’s not the type of hostel where you’ll meet your future BFF. But will met many many good people to have chats with. They have free breakfast.

Amazing stay at this Hostel. The breakfast was included and delicious. Joy at the bar was funny and we had a good time with him. They have an happy hour from 1PM to 6PM with ridiculous price on Bintang. The place is located near everything you will probably need.

Super nice facility, great rooms and nice team, but the hundred rules there are and the extra pay for each little thing are a bit exaggerated. The transports offered are completely overpriced. Better to organize yourself!
But the daily teip is good.
Overall, I can recommend it.

I booked a 4 bed female only dorm with private shower and toilet. We all had one big storage locker and a smaller one. All my stuff fit in there which was great. The area is nice, the pool is nice to hang out at and the restaurant directly near by offers good food. I got 2 towels and had to give 200.000 rupiah deposit. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was friendly. They offer different activities for example movie night or barbecue. I have nothing to complain about except maybe that the Wifi was really bad in the dorm, but I always hung out at the reception (the Signal was better there) whenever I needed to be online so that was fine.

We were here for the 1 year anniversary and it was so fun! They hosted a bbq with a great band and it was the best way to be welcomed on our first night. The restaurant is delicious and the staff was so dedicated to keeping things convenient and clean for us. I will definitely come back again next time I’m here.

Very YOUNG crowd. Only one large bathroom with poor water pressure. Don’t rent motorbikes and don’t do laundry. Has a cafe enclosed which has good food and drinks. Free breakfast is pretty decent. Other than that it’s not worth the price.

Had the most amazing stay here last week with Addy and the wanderlands group!
I HIGHLY recommend this place, when I come back to Ubud I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.
From start to finish the staff were super friendly friendly and helpful

on our first night we played beer pong by the pool had a bbq and the most amazing acoustic live music too!

Hotel and hostel together I stayed in a shared room. Huge beds, excellent service, everyday a fresh bottle of water, free breakfast, perfectly located, restaurant a bit more pricy but good. Bathroom facilities always clean and modern. Would definetly come back without any doubt!

Good hostel (clean, helpful staffs) The breakfast is various you can choose 4 styles (American breakfast, Indonesian, Cereal and milk and Pancakes with caramel sauce)

It is a good hostel. Clean rooms nice outside area but can be very crowded. One Thing that was Not sufficient were the showers nearly No water pressure and in the evenings the electricity was sometimes Not stable. Very good Restaurant and coffee.

I was looking forward to a nice stay at Puri Garden Hostel, however, upon arrival became skeptical based on the construction outside of my room. There where three days of drilling while I was staying at Puri. Puri allows check ins all night, and a bunch of girls checked in to my room at 3 am, making noise and partying — they allowed more girls than number of beds to check in to my room, which escalated the problem. On top of this, I was never given the second towel I paid a deposit for (everyone has to pay a $200k deposit for two towels and a key), despite asking for it three times. The Wi-Fi is terrible. When I asked for a refund for my final night at Puri, as I decided to rent my own villa after a night of zero sleep, the manager fought me tooth and nail and had to "fact check" my information with the girls that checked in at 3am, making it an extremely uncomfortable night for me afterwards. After sitting in the lobby waiting for the manager to make a decision, I was still not given a refund after over an hour of waiting. Every other hostel I have ever stayed at is very generous and will refund you if you want to leave early — and isn't so money hungry as to refuse to refund when you have a terrible experience. Puri is fine for a one night stay — but overall I had a very poor experience and would not recommend it.

The hotel is very pretty. The way they have refurbished it. In such a modern contemporary way but keeping thw origunal. Fweling has been fantastic. The rooms are nice and good sized. The bathrooms clean and. Well provided. Sometimes it smelled like sulfur though. The bed was beautiful, but it sounded terribly evwrutime we moved,, waking us up. But in general, our stay was. Pleasant and confortable because the staff was nice and the hotel is well situate.

Decent drinks here。chai latte didn't quite taste right but staff were happy to improve. Fun crowd.

Very quiet so don't expect a party crowd — clean and relaxing. The pool is lovely. Hostel beds are beautiful and luxurious. Worth a stay if you want to chill out on your own for a bit.

The rooms are beautiful. The lockable drawers are too small for most backpacks and virtually all suitcases. The toilets and showers are partly far away from the rooms, is not a good layout. Breakfast is good. I wasn't in the pool due to a cold. There is a BBQ evening that I absolutely would not recommend, as too little choice and very banal food. For 100k you can eat much better. The duvets are very thick, so you sweat very much at night.

Definetely worth 5 stars! Awesome location, the property is just stunning considering you are in a hostel, the dorms are quite big and the morning yoga sessions are great! Breakfast is served every morning and it's super delicious and you can choose from a large variety. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would stay there again anytime.

Nice and comfy place, makes hotel and hostel around a nice patio. Quite quiet off the main road. Tasty breakfast. Good yoga session at the morning. What can be improved, the sound track in the morning a bit too noisy.

Really beautiful and comfy rooms, very clean bathrooms. The pool is gorgeous and the breakfast was delicious! Bit if you buy meals there, it's pretty expensive.

Most of the hotels in Ubud looks same atleast by entrance with restaurants and pools, by far it seemed one of the oldest hotel in this area, about the room I got better not to say anything the WC not working, can't sleep as the bed was like about to collapse anytime soon shaking and noisy. The only good part of this hotel was the pool, the landscape, the sculptures in the hotel which is usual in Bali rest all a big No.

Staff friendly, food tasty buffet style, Wi-Fi works very good, location is great, you can reach monkey forest in one minute. A lot of restaurants around. Would visit again.

Worst food ever. Dishes are so small. Not even a kid can eat well with that amount of food. Prices are expensive and they charge you 15% of tax (not included in the menu).

The room smelled of mold like nothing I've ever smelled before. I could physically see it on the ceiling of our bathroom. The shower had a big crack where all the water would go down (probably contributing to the mold). I also used the sink once and black specks came out in the water. Bugs and ants all around the room. Only redeeming quality is the outside aesthetic. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else.

Very nice, quiet and affordable hotel in Ubud. Priceless traditional architecture and design. Beautyful pool area surrounded by vegetation. This place feels like a little piece of heaven in the middle of Ubud's activity.

Good Vibe, Strategic Places, Friendly Host, Good Food, Reasonable Price… What more can you ask… highly recommend for couple or family travel.
