Amazing pool area! (and you have 2 of them). Staff is very friendly, breakfast was nice but it's smaller portion. Keep in mind that it's a bit far from Ubud, 8km, but we wanted that cause in city central area is a bit hectic. And the dogs were so cute! We were staying in a Bale apartment which is separated from other apartment units and it's more in traditional style. On other hand I think we had bad bugs : (didn't make the fuss cause we were only 2 nights there but check and let the staff now, they were all really great so i'm sure they will resolve it.

Amazing place to relax, clean & spacious rooms, great pool area and all at unbeatable prices. Staff are friendly and incredibly helpful, can not recommend this place enough. Location is a bit further from restaurants and other amenities, but accessible by scooter and car service that can be provided.

Great service. Good rooms. The place has a few cute pet dogs. Good service at the reception — they helped us book tours, cars and rent scooters and were very reliable. The only trouble we faced was with the shower (hard to regulate the temperature), and the water in the region has a slight odour.

I liked especially the monkey forest was funny.

Asik kalo mau menyendiri. Tempatnya sepi sayang kalo sudah siang banyak banget bus dan mobil elf yg lewat deket sini. Jadi agak berisik.

Beautiful hotel, staff are brilliant and very helpful. There are two pools which are clean, dinner is available and you can rent mopeds from the hotel or ask for a driver at a reasonable price. Rooms are spacious and clean and have air-conditioning if needed. I have loved our short stay here.

We used to stay here twice while traveling around Bali. Love this place.

The staff were very helpful. Good price. Very nice room in Balinese houses. Clean and nice garden with swimming pools. I suggest renting a scooter right there to get around. I'll be back without a doubt. 100% recommended.

Great homestay, removed from the follon of Ubud, in a residential area in typical balinese staff are super stick, nice and helpful staff, nice swimming pools, good rooms and good breakfast. 100% recommended.

Nice and comfort place with swimming pools and a little bar. Also with a descent breakfast. The rooms were big enough and the balcony is a very nice plus. Again very kind owners who helped with a lot of things including day tours and taxis etc.

Wonderful hosts. Excellent place. The soccer field adjacent to it adds to the charm. Can play football with the local kids or there's always a game of frisbee going on in the evening.

Highly recommended. The staff is really very helpful.

We booked in for 4 night's and increased to 10 nights. The location is in a quiet village called KEMENUH approximately 10-15 mins by car from Ubud town. The owners Putu and Kadek would kindly take us by car to any place we requested including visiting sites. The main reason we came to Bali was for the Bali Spirit Festival and this was located 10 minutes drive from Kailash Homestay, which was very convenient. (There is another Kailash Homestay in Ubud town, Please do not mix up). The Homestay is a family run business with the family living seperately on the property 24 hours a day. Husband and wife Putu and Kadek, son Kevin, daughter Cindy and 3 adorable little dogs. (Every household has at least one dog). Some of staff have worked for the family for over 15 years, they are genuine, friendly, loyal, happy and attentive to all our requests. Komang (male) always seems to be there doing something, reception, waiting on tables, cleaning the pool, making juice always busy upto midnight… very friendly and happy. The family kindly invited me to join them in the yearly cleansing ceremony on the beach at 5am and bought me breakfast which made me feel humble and very grateful to have met them. The air-conditioned rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Wi-Fi is good. The pool is great with a relaxed atmosphere… being a boutique Homestay with only 7 rooms you need to book in quick. The meals and fresh juice are delicious! I would highly recommend this place.

If you want a fancy hotel, Kailash isn't for you, but if you're looking for a nice, cozy place to stay where you'll feel right at home, Kailash is your spot. We've stayed here for two nights in March, 2017. Kailash is a twenty minute drive away from Ubud, in a nice and quiet area. The rooms are tidy, with a view of the swimming pool. The owners have three adorable dogs. We took a tour with the owner, who showed us six amazing places. We wanted to stay another night, but unfortunately they were all booked.

Nice. Place immersed in the silence of the forests. Very clean I have ever have. Also scooters to rent.

Very pleasant hosts. The hotel is new. The setting is wonderful. Breakfast included. In order to prepare grilled fish. There is a Laundry room.
