The beautiful place and great position are seriously let down by a few (easy to fix things). The bathroom was not cleaned, neither was under the bed (there was food underneath), none of the staff can understand English so among some other issues I was woken up at 8:30 instead of 10:30 one morning. After that I just stopped asking for breakfast. I had my washing done here and it stinks! need it rewashed. The pool is not properly cared for so is cloudy and stagnant and I'm pretty sure someone has been in my room since when I came back the air con was on and I had specifically turned it off. Such a let down. It could be so great if the staff/management made a little more effort.
I stayed at the hostel, would go there again when I’m in Ubud, friendly staff, rooms where more than good for the price! Should have stayed for one night, ended up with four. :) The only down side I can come op with is that there’s in no light in the night at the entrance at the street. Bit to dark at night.
