We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-month stay at Bali Harmony Villas in the village of Lohtunduh about 2.5km south of downtown Ubud! This 7-year old property consists of 5 separate villas intimately clustered around a west-facing rectangular infiniti pool with a 180 degree view of soothing green ricefields. Facing west and basking in the glow of sunsets, Villa Sungai (2-bedroom) has the longest private timber deck above the ricefields and it opens up to the southern edge of the pool; with a dual north & west frontage, Villa Budi (2-bedroom) has a sweeping 270 degree view of an immense ocean of rice terraces and mountains in the distance, and it sits at the north side of the pool area; tucked furthest away, out of line-of-sight from the pool and parking lot entrance, north-facing Villa Asmara (1-bedroom) is literally an arm's length from stalks of rice and has the most privacy (perfect for honeymooners) ; from behind a veil of tropical foliage, both Villa Jantung (1-bedroom) and Villa Jiwa (1-bedroom) are located side-by-side fronting the eastern length of the pool, awarding them the best surreptitious view of the pool and ricefields beyond. It was our pleasure & privilege to personally meet Michael (owner) when he dropped in at his property recently. To him, we accord what superlative service should be … Michael has gone beyond the call of duty and he has been most accommodating to us with our Airbnb booking.

Rice field view is great.

We stayed in their new villa Wisnu. Surrounded by the paddy field, we can enjoy the song of nature in the morning & at night. Staff are friendly, but I enjoyed to prepare breakfast for my family. The fridge was full with eggs, cheese, onions, tomatoes, bread, butter, tropical fruits & complete kitchen equipment. I am Indonesian, and this place really shows how the real Ubud Village. I love this place.

It s so horrible that I can t understand all the 5 stars … it must be fake! Stay away from this place if you want to enjoy your trip in Ubud!

I stayed at Villa Sungai at Harmony last week and had the most magical end to my time in Bali. I have spent a lot of time in Ubud and gone to many different resorts, rooms, hotels, etc. And the feel of Harmony is really something different and magnificent. First of all, it's like a studio apartment with just the most perfect lighting — there's a kitchen if you choose to make your own little meals, but they also serve a fantastic breakfast whenever you wake up. They got to know my fruit preferences very quickly and I always got the biggest bowl of juicy papaya that was so fresh! There are only a handful of other villas on the property so its very quiet and also private. It's not smack in the center of town, but it's not far from town at all. I felt like it was the perfect distance so that I wouldn't be smack in the middle of all the traffic and noise but I could get to town within 5 minutes on a scooter — — two days of the week I even walked to town and went shopping along the way. My favorite part is the infinity pool that overlooks the rice paddies. Wow. Most of the time (9 out of 10) I had it all to myself. I really loved doing my yoga practice outside, then hopping in the pool followed by a hammock snooze! It was an oasis, more than what I had expected! Now I don't have to shop around on my next Ubud trip, I'll go straight here. Many thanks to the staff for accommodating me on short notice and treating me like royalty. Really.

I stayed at Bali Harmony Villas for a month and a half. From the minute I arrive, I felt welcome, safe, at home. The place is pristine clean, overlooking the rice padis, the rice fields. The staff is amazingly helpful and cooks the most amazing pancakes for breakfast. Anything you wish they will make it happen. And Michael will answer any your query in less than 24hours wherever in the world he may be. At one point my children, aged 9 and 11 joined me on the trip and stayed a week with me. Saying they loved it is an understatement. The pool is amazing, the gardens feel like you've landed in paradise, sunrise and sunsets are just mesmerizing. Of course you can have some beautiful dragonfly and geckos keeping you entertained, and that's the beauty of it. The houses are built in the typical Balinese architecture. I can only highly recommend staying there… you wouldn't want to leave.

I had a wonderful stay at Harmony Villas. The location overlooking the rice paddy is stunning and the immediate surrounds including the lovely little village are beautiful and very peaceful. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They were on site to help at any time of the day and gave me great local information and even helped me order food to the villa when my phone didn't work. The cooked breakfast in the morning was delicious and sitting out eating by the swimming pool overlooking the rice terraces every morning was a joy. The villas were tastefully furnished and very comfortable with plenty of space and great sized bathroom. They were cleaned every day and a ceiling fan helped keep the tropical heat at bay. A fantastic place and such a relaxing experience I'd highly recommend it!

Our experience at Harmony Villas was fantastic. The setting is gorgeous, a short way outside of Ubud, so you are close enough to take part in everything the town has to offer but far enough away for peace and quiet. We could have spent all day in the infinity pool overlooking the rice field — such a tranquil environment. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They shared local knowledge with us, gave us a lift through Lodtundah on the back of a scooter, and seeing as our phones didn't work in Bali they even called up restaurants for us when we wanted a food delivery, and would take it right to us once it arrived. The whole experience felt very hassle-free. The villa was kept clean and tidy by the staff and felt very luxurious. The ceiling fan was more than enough to keep us cool in the humid weather. There were plenty of outdoor places to sit and relax, but when it rained it was still just as comfortable to sit inside the villa. I would recommend Harmony Villas straight away to anybody visiting Ubud — it really made our holiday memorable. Trixie, the friendly villa dog, was a great added bonus! Thanks for a wonderful stay and we would love to come back one day.

It's relaxing place in the middle of rice field, 15 mints ride far from ubud main street. The stuff was so helpful and breakfast was amazing, cleaning was good also. Ibu wayan was so nice and she took good care of us, gave us honest advise in everything we attempt to make in bali.

Super beautiful oasis a little off from the "shot" for a dream pool directly at the rice terraces, all houses super clean… if you drive yourself something hard to find… Dinner is Take Away Order… Staff super dear, total peace after a traffic chaos and hustle and bustle in Ubud… everything done right for anyone who wants to sleep without traffic noise and exhaust fumes at a very good price performance ratio October 2016 at two 90 dollars per night with breakfast ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Harmony Villas are set in a beautiful location just south of Ubud. The villas are spacious and well appointed and our villa (Asmara) has a great view of the rice fields. The host/staff were extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast each morning was delicious and our villa was kept clean and tidy with towels and sheets changed regularly. There are small shops and some places to eat within walking distance of the villa, although Ubud's main streets are probably best reached by a short taxi journey. Taxis are easily arranged by Harmony staff and are inexpensive. The indoor/outdoor style of the villas mean there is no air conditioning but the fans and breeze from the rice fields kept us comfortable. Obviously there are a few insects and lizards etc. They generally kept out of our villa and the mosquito net over the bed meant we were safe from bites. The villa is located in a small village called Lodtunduh which has a wonderful community feeling and we got to know several of the locals and their families. Overall, Harmony is a great place to relax and recharge. It is close enough to Ubud to give access to all the great restaurants, temples, dancing, yoga, etc. But secluded enough to give complete peace and tranquility. We would wholeheartedly recommend Harmony Villas to singles, couples or families (the pool is lovely) and we very much hope to return some day. Stuart and Andrea (Scotland) — Visited July 2016

My weekend at the Ubud Villa was top notch! Overlooking an incredible rice field, and only about 25 minutes walking from Ubud, the villa was the perfect weekend escape.
