Best place in Bali. The owner and his family are super firendly, the breakfast and dinner were great, the location is fantastic too. I travelled with my wife and child, perfect place for families.

Excellent for those wanting to immerse in Bali home life and culture in family compound. Rooms basic, but very comfortable with AC, fridge and easy to adjust hot water in shower. Beautiful garden and pool. Nice breakfast served on balcony. Artist owner very helpful and willing to discuss and explain Ubud and Bali history and customs. A very personal and genuine Bali experience you won't get at the big impersonal hotels. Only downside for us were the stepping stones, pebbles and tiles were not good for our aged and unstable bodies in the private rock garden and greenery shower area… but think most agile, younger people would find it a beautiful and fun experience.

Arka and Made are great hosts! They rent rooms for less than 2 years, so everything is brand new! We stayed a couple of night there and they did everything for us to be like home. Every morning is a different breakfast that Made is preparing. We had pancakes with bananas inside and the next day Mie goreng! With fruit, coffee. Swimming pool really nice. We were a little family there (2 adults and 2 kids). 500-600K per night depending on. The room. Important, 500m from Ubud Downtown.

Best place to stay in Ubud! Great location (5 min walk from the center), the rooms are beautiful, clean and all the furniture is new. The bathrooms are really cool, they have an open roof and great decoration. The swimming pool is also beautiful and clean and is perfect to relax after the day tours. The owner is a really peaceful person and a great artist too, you will be able to see his amazing paintings. His family is very nice and sweet, they really make you feel like home and are always willing to help you with everything. I really enjoyed my time here and highly recommend this place when travelling to ubud, its just perfect!

Amazing guesthouse and owner. Near the center (5min walk to ubud palace). Beautiful room and bathroom, the swimming pool and Wi-Fi are great. Good breakfast. The owner make you feel like in family, and make the best for his guest. He can also arrange you if you need motor bike, private driver, ticket for dance show etc. At very good price. At 20m out of the guesthouse you will find a little road that take you to beautiful rice field at the middle of the jungle where you can have a really nice trek and meet local people. I definitely recommend this place.

Lovely place to stay with nice pool, clean rooms and perfect Ubud ambience. Within walking distance of Ubud centre.

Very nice rooms with new furniture and open roof bathrooms. The swimming pool is great and they bring you the breakfast to your terrace. Everything is good but the best, and what makes the difference with other places is the owner Mr Arka and his family. This is not a hotel but a homestay. It is a great chance to meet a balinese family and even being part of them for a few days. They are great, and if you're interested in the culture will make you feel at home. On top of that he also works organizing balinese dance in a near temple, so again a good chance to get tickets for a good show. Don't miss Mr Arkan and his family.

I cannot recommend this beautiful place more highly arrka and his family are absolutely wonderful and go out of their way to make your stay better than great, clean, quiet and traditionally balinese, coffee and tea on your veranda when you awaken and breakfast bought to you soon after, We still have a few more days here I am loving it, we will definitely stay again…

A great experience, is a place where you can relax and is a two-minute walk from the center of Ubud. The open-air bathrooms are amazing, the bed huge and the room super clean. The pool and garden lovely and very well maintained. Right next door lives the family, it is part of your house, lovely people who help you in whatever it takes. If you come to Bali is a great option, recommended 100%

Whata place!
mr. Arka and his familly are very nice. The facilities complete: good and fast internet, beautifull paintings, huge TV and so one. I mean, the place is new and awesome! The pool is a higlight big and deep, the bed is comfartable and the bathroom is wow (I loved it). Location is ok, 5 minutes to the palace! But we rented a new Motorbike from Mr. Arka. The dog is crazy but friendly and the kids are just too cute.
Be awere of the art and paintings of the place… You can see Mr. Arkas workshop and share with him a nice moment.
I will strongly recomend to stay here, it is one of the best places I've been.
The photos are great, but the place itself is even better!
P. S. The only bad thing is that we can not stay longer!
