I had the absolute pleasure of staying in the Deluxe room with balcony and lake view. I can’t recommend it enough. The room is beautifully simple, with an open, airy feel that connects you directly to the surrounding nature. It's back to basics in the best possible way; with views like these, what more could you possibly need?
The atmosphere at Bugo Camp is truly special. The owner radiates positivity and makes you feel instantly welcome, as if you’re staying with a friend rather than at a hotel. Breakfast was a delight each morning, lovingly prepared with homemade touches and fresh, self-grown avocados that were beyond delicious.
One of the sweetest surprises? The adorable puppies on the property! They were so friendly and playful. A real joy to be around.
The area offers plenty of charming little activities, but honestly, just sitting outside your room and taking in the view is already an experience in itself. Peaceful, authentic, and full of heart — this place is a gem. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The only thing is that you must have a motorbike to get around or be prepared to walk 1 hour to the nearest restaurant — past lots of angry dogs 🐕

We had such a lovely stay this weekend at Bugo Camping! The hosts were lovely, so helpful and cooked us a nice Balinese breakfast. The room was comfy and exactly as expected. The surrounding area was beautiful, advise getting a moped out and driving around, there’s vegetable plantations everywhere. The eco hotel next door is also very interesting, they are doing lots for the community and environment. A lovely stay and would definitely recommend!
