Beautiful grounds, refreshing pools, large, spacious rooms and wonderful staff. Very close to the beach and many other restaurants and shops. Food is very good as well.

A great location in Lovina. Quiet well maintained, staff are very pleasant and helpful. Spent 2 very relaxing weeks here. Lovina Beach is also nearby as are shops bars etc Recommended.

This is a wonderful place to stay. The room is very clean and has a modern look. The Garden with the swimmingpool is amazing. But the most important thing are the people there! They are so friendly and will help you in each situation! Thanks so much!

Beautiful place, lovely rooms, well-stocked room fridge which operates on the honour system, a great spa and the laundry service works! A star is docked because the staff, although friendly and helpful when approached, are not very proactive. The bar is close to one of the pools, which is furnished with tables just begging to have drinks and snacks put on them, but no-one ever comes to see if anyone wants anything. It's often the same actually in the restaurant too. I'd stay here again though.

Lovely people, great place, good food, best place we have stayed.

This is one of the lovely place I have visited. 1. It's clean, quiet and very private. 2. Owner and their staff are very accommodating and friendly. 3. The resort has 2 clean pools where you can sunbath or swim. The beach in lovina is not as clear as you may imagine. Staying in these pools is an option. 4. The hotel has included breakfast and I simply love the pot of coffee and fruit shake they serve. 5. It has a free and good Wi-Fi. 6. Free refill of water. 7. It has a yoga place and spa. Thumbs up to the management!

2 stars for the nice room and beautiful garden + swimmingpool area, 1 star for the amazing massage in the spa, missing stars are regarding the restaurant — > the breakfast was absolutely dissapointing only toast/white bread in the 5 choices and mini portions, the dinner menu is boring, less creative and more expensive than outside, service is so lalala, nobody is asking proactively for food or drink at the swimmingpool or at breakfast, maybe it is an communication issue. Also the two dogs around there smelling very bad, maybe nobody cares about them.

We've been to Rambutan and Lovina two times, our first was in 2011 on our honeymoon, the second time was in September 2017, and we very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Richard and his family are all very warm and welcoming and helped us a lot before our arrival, and they all made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Pretty hotel on the coast. You should love water and water sports, otherwise there is not much to do.

Rambutan is a fantastic and beautiful hotel. Lovely gardens and traditional Balinese architecture.

I love Rambutan, I've gone here since I was a child and service was always excellent. Not only is the hotel beautiful, they also have an amazing spa and nice swimming pool. The food is good and not too pricey. Definitely recommend.

Big location and definitely more of a family resort. Basic rooms were very expensive compared to other better rooms in Lovina. Wifi only works in pool area and reception. With another 10 minutes of looking you'll find a better priced, bigger room with AC and beach walkout.

Nice room and good breakfast.

Minus: (1) we rented a scooter for a day trip and the brake suddenly stopped working. When we informed two staff they didn't take us seriously and didn't apologize. We could have got into an accident. (2) we booked the Mount Batur tour and they told us it's just for two persons. When we arrived it was a shared tour among six people. False misrepresentation at their end and don't trust them when they told you it's a private tour. Plus: good garden, nice pool, good price and restaurant around.

Charming Balinese style botique hotel in a quaint seaside village with a dozen or so restaurants nearby. Two lovely pools (restaurant one much warmer) attentive friendly staff & a reasonable breakfast. Only real negative was a cold shower, but hey — it's Bali. All this for only $60 a night! Will definitely return.

Very nice hotel a few meters from the beach
This is a great complex of cottage in the middle of a large garden beautifully maintained. I had a budget, with a large comfortable bed room and a small terrace and a superb bathroom in black stone inlaid Pebble. The complex, which is only 200 m from the beach, has two pools, a small basin near the cottages and the great basin near the restaurant, it is here that people bathe. Everywhere in the garden, small spaces are fitted out with taste so that you can relax: zen atmosphere. The restaurant serves simple and correct cuisine without more. The SPA is great, and I recommend the Balinese massage. The service is perfect, nice, smiling, efficient. The only downside is the slow ultra Wi-Fi connection, often making the basic consultation of the internet almost impossible. It seems that the connection is best near the restaurant, I remain skeptical.
