Some wonderful aspects were the staff, especially Ketut in the restaurant. MRS Luh, the owner, was fabulous, and nothing was a problem. The gardens are superb, and we were kindly upgraded to lovely rooms when there was an issue. I can't wait to go back & see the people who are now our friends.

After our air b&b cancelled on us we were in need of a place to stay. Arrived at Hotel Suma where we booked 2 night. After getting into the room we knew we made a big mistake. The room was dirty, smelled, and walls were so thin you can hear the people’s conversations right above and below you. Absolutely horrible! The tub/ shower was dirty, stains in it. Toilet leaking around it. A dreadlock hair on the bathroom floor. Stains on the bed sheet and curtains. We were so grossed out that we went downstairs 45 minutes later to leave. The hotel refused to give us our money back. The manager “was not there” and would not refund us. We left and lost our money. Don’t waste your time or money. Very disappointing.

Beautiful swimming pool, and the spa services are fantastic, the staff are cheerful and on hand to help. The beach is at the back door and there plenty of small warungs Directly at the doorstep. If you enjoy fishing or watching dolphins there is a plethora of boats available.

Nice place and recommend for family.

Nice place to stay. You can walk to the beach, only for several step behind the beach. The beach give you access to see dolphins in the ocean.

Air di kamar mandi di pagi hari kadang-kadang tiba-tiba terhenti sendiri, meskipun tdk terlalu lama keluar lagi, tetapi berulang lumayan berkali-kali. Nyamuk banyak. Tapi bagusnya dekat sekali dengan pantai Lovina dimana kita bisa mengarungi lautan untuk melihat lumba-lumba. Tinggal jalan kaki, dekat sekali, tidak perlu naik kendaraan apapun sampai ke pantai tsb. Makanan pagi (breakfast) juga enak-enak. Cuma buahnya kurang segar.

Very friendly Staff. Cozy place, near the beach, you just walk 1 minute to the north. We stayed here before we go to sea for seeing dolphines in the early morning. Nice place to stay. Sometimes mosquito repellant needed. Have a clean pool and the breakfast not too bad. They have spa, but we didn't try out before.

Friendly staff, many activities can be booked here, beautifal pool and quiet neighbourhood, though many tourists ofcourse.

Holiday Suma Bali is a great place to live. Resort has beautiful look. It brings a beautiful experience in life. It's worth living here. Holiday Suma is made for only Holidays. Bali is favorite place to enjoy the holidays. There are many hotels and resorts around but it good. From the airport it took around an hour 175 thousand Indonesia Rupee.

Great price-quality relation. We were there during rather low season. End of April 2018. Very relaxing. Only few people. Pool is nice for a swim and to relax and read a book. Restaurant is also good. Not high class, but tasty food. Interesting interpretation of Cesar salad. Big Bintang costs 46000. Hotel has spacious rooms. We stayed in a standard double room. It did not have aircon, which was a bit too warm. But if you ask for a mosquito net, opening the door it's possible, that brings nice fresh night air inside. The beach is not nice for lying and relaxing, as it looks more like a harbor for tour boat, but perfect for a long swim. The water was calm and we could swim quite far from the shore. We liked it! I had a massage at the spa at the hotel. 110000 full body Balinese massage. It was amazingly relaxing. Very professional.

The hotel is in a beautiful surrounded. There is a spacious swimming pool, bar and restaurant, which also includes breakfast included in the room price. Without leaving the hotel you can change currency, order any excursions, order laundry, etc. Very friendly and helpful staff. To swim in the sea is enough to pass on the bank 100 m to the left of the hotel. It is better to order a morning boat trip to the sea, where you can see the Dolphins and buy plenty.

An old, small but solid Balinese-style hotel. Unfortunately is in some desolation. There is air conditioning, fan, interesting beds with canopies, pool, but during the day the rooms are not cleaned, towels do not change, on the buildings there are signs of dilapidation. There's no entertainment in the area.

Beautiful place. Rooms are clean the staff are very friendly the food is excellent and very well priced. Nice and quiet set well away from the road access to the beach. One of the best places ive stayed! Oh yea the balinese owners are some of the nicest ppl ive met! Highly recommended.

Hotel Suma had everything we needed for a perfect vacation; peace, tranquility, good food, lovely pool and a beautiful and clean room. Very convenient 3 minute walk to the beach, gorgeous garden area walk-though to the rooms and a very adorable security dog. I will definitely be going back… hopefully more sooner than later!

Location to dolphin tour not bad. Hotel service — no phone line. The building abit old. The breadfast meal must indicate properly, how to order. The Wi-Fi not so good.

The rooms are OK but we only had a fan. The bathroom is nice. The breakfast is good with choice, the pool is very nice. The prices of the restaurant as well as the dry cleaning are however relatively high. The hotel is located a little far from the tourist centre but with direct access to the beach (unfortunately you can not put a towel).

Location is good, couldn't use the swimming pool it turned my blonde hair very green within 20 min. Ketchup was the solution. Staff nice rooms okay, we had the beach view room. Dont take it, view is bad.

Location is very easy to get to. The rooms were clean and huge! Bathrooms were in the Indonesia style which is fun. The service from both the bar staff and front desk were phenomenal.

Three stars for a three star hotel feels self-explanatory. No hot water in the showers (broken or not switched on was unclear). Not able to drain the tub. A bit old rooms. Not particularly good food. But it's cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff.

An oasis compared to the overpriced and not very charming hotels in Kuta or Gili.
Here you can extend also likes a couple of nights.
You get a suitable advice when you book activities (snorkeling tour or excursions to the waterfalls). The price is also in order.
You can say all in all, actually the nicest hotel in which we stayed in Bali.

Definitely deserves fife stars! I've been shopping around Lovina for a day and didn't find any better. The hype (and noisy crowds) of the past are gone. Now it's the right place to really relax and enjoy the very clean pool in the tropical garden. Standard rooms are great value but superior rooms upstairs are worth the extra buck if you like the window (s) open. Excellent breakfast included. Small temple right behind its wall. Less than one minute's walk to the beach.

The food and beverage staff is awesome! everyone in the hotel is very honest and willing to help beyond their duties. I spent 4 nights here and I really liked my room.

It's a really really nice hotel! We fell in love with the atmosphere the minute we entered after a very long and tiresome day sightseeing the waterfalls. There is a lot of lush vegetation inside, everything is green, big palm trees around a very nice and big waterpool. It's like a little paradise! We had no desire to go to the beach and spent the hot days around the pool. It was so cozy and secluded! We've booked the superior room with a direct view to the pool, right in front of it actually. The breakfast is also delicious! Totally recommend staying there!

Good hotel with a beautiful setting. The rooms are set in different small buildings, surrounding a very nice swimming pool. It's small, but because of the beautiful trees, plants and flowers everywhere you still have enough privacy. It's a nice hotel to relax at the pool for a few days. Especially when it's too hot to do anything else. It's not a massive hotel, which I like. I've stayed in a standard room. It's small, but very neat and clean with a nice bathroom. The room has a balcony or a porch if you'd like to sit outside. It's next to the beach, although it's not a nice beach for swimming. In the street are many warungs and restaurants where you can eat for very low prices. Especially the warungs. So, it doesn't matter you're far away from the centre. There is no atm around though. It would be wise to bring some cash. Otherwise it's a long walk if you're planning to stay just at the hotel grounds. I recommend staying here. For the price we've paid it was a very good deal. So 5 stars. But I recommend eating on the streets instead of the hotel restaurant. The food at their resraurant tasted less good. And the dolphin tours offered in the street are cheaper. They all use the same kind of boats anyway, so you won't notice any difference. I've paid 50.000 for 2 hours of dolphin watching. At the hotel they charge 100.000 p. P.
