The rooms we stayed in were being used as storage by the owner while we were staying in them. They were packed full with paintings, which hadn't been touched in months or years even. One can only guess what nastiness and vermin had accumulated behind them.
The only cabinet in the room was also packed to the brim with plates and other kitchen supplies.
The only available shower is in the other room from where we stayed. And had to be shared with the other guests. In here was also the toilet, but there was another one at the outside of the house.
From what I heard from the other guests, the cabinet in their room was packed with clothes from the owner!
There is no electricity avaliable in the room where we stayed. Well maybe there is, but because of the paintings it was inaccesable. We had to charge our electronics in the kitchen.
The owners were very stingy with the air conditioning, fans and lighting. I don't like sleeping with the air conditioning on, so about two hours before sleeping I turn it on to get the room to cool down, and then turn it off before sleeping. But often times I returned to a very hot room, with the air conditioning turned off. At one occassion the light was even turned off by the owner while I was in the room, packing my stuff!
There is Wi-Fi available, but it is extremely slow.
