Total dissapointment the photos do not reflect the resort at all small and cramped.
Stayed one night in superior room. Positives are — Welcomed by friendly and helpful young staff with a welcome drink. The room was clean, comfortable bed, very nice views of Lake Batur and Mt Batur from the balcony. A kettle, complimentary water, tea and coffee provided. Breakfast was good — fresh juice, fresh Bali coffee followed by an omelette brought into the room. Location was good. Close to a few restaurants. Plenty of parking. A few negatives, I am afraid. Bathroom was small with an open shower, after which the entire bathroom was very wet and as the water was collecting (without draining quickly) you were standing in a flood! This was last night. By this morning there was no water! It took these young kids about an hour or so to get the water fixed this morning. My next surprise was when I got into bed last night, there was sand and grit in the sheets. It was late and I could not contact anyone for fresh linen. That really was unacceptable. The staff seem very young. Perhaps a more experienced person should check on rooms to ensure that everything is in order. Towels are a dark brown… My personal preference would be a lighter coloured towel which always looks fresh and clean.
