I pre-booked a Villa as a surprise for my husband while we were in Bali last week. It was paid for on our MasterCard of which I had a receipt and confirmation email. This card has now expired and been replaced by a Visa card… same bank.
When we arrived to check in the said they needed the MasterCard to verify the CVV number on the back. I advised it has expired and we had a new card but it shouldn’t matter as it was already paid for. They said they would have to charge… us again on the new Visa card as they did not have the payment through from the MasterCard… I reminded them and showed them the email they had sent me but they were adamant that we had to pay agin… it was about now that I started to get the shits…
They then said that they would have to get their Operations Manager to sort it out… after 10 minutes they said he would be a bit longer… I got really upset and decided that our special surprise was now nothing but tears and tantrums and not worth it… I told when we would not be staying as it was unprofessional and a bloody rip off. Not happy!
Didn’t stay…

Iv been coming to Bali many times and stayed in alot of hotels. I also work in hotels for many years so after reading reviews was looking forward to staying here… how wrong were we. Pretty sure good reviews are paid.
booked and paid with credit card 6 months before, paid that card off and cancelled due to high fees, when checking in was told they needed that card for ID reasons. Um noo room fully paid. 1st time iv heard of this.

asked 4times to empty bin… pretty sure this is standard in all villas housekeeping?
4. I got food poisoning from the smoothie bowl, yep im a medical student and know where and what.
no wonder they give you free massage and breakfast, afternoon tea to get you to stay… nothing else going for them.
sorry wont be back. And dont waste your time. Plenty other nicer villas in Bali that wont scam or make you sick.
