Enjoyed our lagoon room, staff were very friendly and helpful would defo return.

If you want cheap accommodations this fairly good off the main street not noisy, BUT the fridge is very small mould on the curtains and in the shower area toilet smelt like urine plus not complimentary toiletries soap dispenser was in the shower.
my WORST part of my stay was not being able to enjoy a swim in the pool we booked a lagoon access room and we didn't use it due to it not being cleaned it had so much algae we didn't dare jump in asked the staff if he was going to be cleaned for some reason they didn't understand but a few days later we asked about something else omg there English was good. Bonus parts where the room was a great size, AC works, cleaning staff where good, and the kings size bed was very comfortable. For my stay I rate this place a 5.5/10, we were supposed to stay here for 2wks which was recommended to us on bali sites and fb we only stayed 4 days that was enough we found a better hotel in legian.

Just spent 10 nights here at Aquarius & loved our lagoon room. The room was clean and bright and as we were staying the staff were re painting other rooms and keeping up with maintenance. The shower was the best I have ever had in Bali & very clean also. A/C was cool & so was the fridge. Was great to see the hotel using shower gel and shampoo refill dispenser rather than tiny bottles as Bali is trying hard to reduce plastic use. Couldn't fault the staff who were pleasant. Breakfast wasn't much so we chose to eat out and that was the only fault just means next time we know not to get this. Location is perfect.

We went to their restaurant a few times and absolutely loved it. The food was delicious and the staff are wonderful. Highly recommended this restaurant.

Rooms are awesome and cheap, staff awesome, great food, and fantastic location!
We be back for sure.

Aquarius Star is a hidden gem in Kuta area. The hotel in back with Laguna access is wonderful. Open your sliding glass door from room and fall into pool.

TL;DR I recommend it but you have to bring your soap and other regular consumption items and be on the to of house keeping when they clean the room. The rooms are beautiful and quiet but it's one big flaw is cleaning. It's not as clean as it should be and the towels they provide have been used for years they are tearing apart. They don't provide soaps and tissues. The fridge "mini bar" is always empty.

Walked past reception as it isn’t clearly identified, Staff couldn’t hardly understand English, Lagoon Access room was clearly in need of some attention. Peeling paint, heavy mound visible near a/c, cupboard doors had peeling& broken laminate an very difficult to open and where was the complimentary soaps for at least the vanity? Than on the 2nd day the A/C died an we were transferred to another room … Paint, Mould & Cupboards we’re actually worse in this room! Complimentary Breakfast was the worse I’ve ever experienced in my 23 years of travelling the globe … I didn’t bother after the 2nd day an rather pay else where to eat. Wi-Fi was pathetic… Took on average 10-15 times of entering the password to eventually log on than if you move to say out on the balcony it would lose signal an another 10-15 attempts to log on. Would I recommend this hotel to my family & friends … NO! If I had the money we would have checked out an stayed elsewhere. 7 times in Bali an worse hotel ever!

Great big room and in the centre of kuta. All needs item can get easily.

We booked a zen room from this hotel. Its really on great location, everything in kuta is in walk distance, beautiful and well maintained pool, gorgeous lil path to reach our room. The downside is the faucets in our room. The bidet's leakage made quite pond in the bathroom. Many lights in our room are dead. And the breakfast lets say, not their strong key. I would rather have lil breakfast (just like many small hotels in bali and gili) than buffet but hit and miss.

Convenient for night activities good breakfast and shops are littered every where. Great area.

"A village within city limits" Very nicely made place. A perfect combination of choices. Need little improvement in breakfast. Staff is friendly & co-operative.

Kamar pool view, VERY RECOMMENDED. A lot of plug ins. And also a hairdryer. But the lighting is too dim for me.

Set back off the main legian st this place is good value for money clean and basic but we enjoy staying here when in kuta.

Great place to stay handy to everything and a BEAUTIFUL FAMILY run hotel just got back from staying there 6 weeks.

No lift, very steep slope to second and third floor. Room decent for it's price.

This hotel was in a good location. 10/15 min walk to the beach. Do not let the lobby area on the main road put you off though. Although you do have to walk down an alley to get to the hotel, when you get to the pool area all is forgotten. Beautiful pool area. A huge downfall is the Wi-Fi. My partner and I were outside by the pool bar (where the Wi-Fi modem is) for approximately 3 hours altogether trying to get our phones and tablet connected to the Internet. Very poor. The staff did try to help but eventually gave up. This wasted a lot of our time, but we needed the Internet to book up the next nights accommadation at our next destination. The room we had was nice overlooking the pool. The dinner and buffet breakfast we had at the restaurant next door was also good.

Great location, shop till you drop, night clubs only metres away! Hotel staff are lovely, clean and modern rooms — prices are great. Food is lovely! Upon arrival I didn't get the room I booked and found they don't communicate well with Internet booking… I then got 20% off the room. So all worked out! Worth a stay though!

Nice pool. But no lift. Walking distance to night entertainment.

I just love this place… so close to everywhere… I can walk down to the beach and walk around for food and the cafes and resto just left or the right side…

Very recomend for budget hotel, it's not convincing if see the loby, but if you look inside… you'll be surprise.

Hotel perfect for the price. Rooms big & air con works great has everything you need I had lagoon access room & loved it. Very quite considering just off busy Jl Legian st. Staff very friendly. Yes towels & bed linen may be grey & worn but are clean. 1 star price but 3 star accommodation would definitely recomend & stay again.

Lovely hotel. I love it cause the staff are friendly and it's really a quite place for relaxing! the lagoon view bedroom.

Ok for the small cost but the place really lacks atmosphere. Accessed through a long messy lane though a family compound, the small hotel has OK rooms and an OK pool but that's about it. Nothing else on offer here. Very average breakfast with staff from the bar out the front who ignore you and talk to each other instead.

Great location. In the middle of all partie places. However, it is quite. You do not hear music and noise in the rooms (was having a room in "Zen Rooms Legian Corner" by Aquarius).

Hello Today I had breakfast in this restaurant. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. 1. We order American breakfast with ham and bacon, but received only bacon; 2. Brought no fruits for breakfast, until said; 3. Very bad internet; 4. On toast I found hair; 5. Waiters don't smile. It is really bad place.

They did not want provide fruits until we asked, even fruits were in set of breakfast. Found hair in the dish. Wifi did not work.

Good expat place to hangout, have a beer and watch street life. Prices are reasonable, food is OK, just don't order any fish items.

Friendly staff. Peaceful and quiet place. Lots of options for the breakfast. Free two bottles of water everyday.
