I don't think anyone should be complaining about the facility with the price you pay! It is great value for money! In a quiet location surrounded by rice paddies. Gusti is very approachable and his staff is the best! They make you REAL free breakfast every morning! Not just bread… I will always go back every time I am around Canggu!

The best place where I lived. Very quiet place and view from the roof where you can watch the sunsets. And fast internet, which is important to me.

Good ambiance. You meet lot of fellow international travelers. Got good deals since I stayed for 3 days. The rooms are clean but the only downside is the bedbugs, which somehow creep out during nights. It scared me once I got back to the Netherlands.

Great homestay with tidy and fresh rooms also available spacious dorm. Gusti is really friendly and helpful at any time.

We booked in advance 3 nights private room and at the time of going we said we had no private room for the first night that after we passed the first one, we gave a bed for each in a shared room with a lot of humidity smell, Sheets and mattresses stained and damp. The next day we happened to a private room which was in better condition.
The last night we broke the key to the door and charged the visit of the locksmith and the next day I do not wait for us to leave to fix it.
The location is very far from everything, yes or if you need to rent motorbike.
Breakfast is very bad and scarce.
For the price there are many better options, I would not recommend it.

Not even worth for one star! The worst homestay we had ever stayed! The homestay is old and not well maintained as could be seen from the pictures. The owner, Gusti kept asking for the full payment (50% deposit had been paid for three rooms cum three nights stay) once we arrived. Moved out after staying for one night even though full payment had been made. There are plenty of new, clean, cheaper or of the same priced apartments nearby such as Deva Bali Apartment, Umallas, etc.

Favorite place my girlfriend and I stayed at in Bali! The family is so kind, helpful and welcoming you can't help but stay a few nights! The rooms are very well priced, along with being clean, comfortable and offering AC and a tv/DVD system. The food at the cafe is delicious and very cheap! Gusti Jr. Will hook you up! Make sure to book your transportation and excursions through Mr. Gusti, as it is cheaper than 99% of all tourist booths! (Especially a return trip to the Gili Islands) All in all we loved our stay here, and would recommend it to anybody looking for a cozy, friendly and well priced homestay in Bali.

We loved it at Gusti's homestay and we would stay there again, for sure! Gusti and his family were lovely, food was delicious and very cheap and they helped us with everything we needed (transport to gili islands, taxis to places, bikes…). It is the best homestay we have stayed at in bali! Free breakfast, Free water… it was great! Hope to see gusti soon!

Really welcoming, nice food only problem was aircon was not working properly.

Nice homestay with 1, 8-bed dorm style room. Gusti is a warm and hospitable host and will go out of his way to accommodate. Out of Seminiak and Kuta, its a fairly quiet spot very relaxing and comfortable for the budget traveller. Would visit again.
