Ziro Palace Inn

Ziro Valley is not a place for luxury travellers. We booked this hotel after researching and reading reviews of many other hotels.
This hotel didn't disappoint us and we are glad that we booked this one. Our room was spacious with a large balcony to enjoy natural views. There were power cuts a few times but it was restored within a few seconds every time.
The restaurant has limited options for breakfast and dinner. We didn't have lunch here. There are lots of small birds around this area particularly in the morning. We spotted some birds from our balcony and also took pictures. Our stay was satisfactory and would come back here if we visit Ziro again.

Extremely Disappointing Experience.
The resort is situated on the outskirts of the city, which in itself is an issue. The property is poorly maintained. The rooms are cramped, unhygienic, and infested with insects. Basic amenities are shockingly absent, both in the room and the washroom. There were no hangers for clothes or even holders for toothbrushes and toiletries.
To make matters worse, the hotel suffers from an unreliable water supply. The food quality was below standard, and the breakfast service was appalling—they even ran out of basic items like bread. Overall, the experience was far from what was promised or expected. This property requires urgent attention and improvement in every aspect before it can be considered suitable for guests.

No lift and room at second floor was uncomfortable. Booked super deluxe rooms but was given normal rooms. Management very poor. Room sanitary conditions not good. Not a value for money.

Recently I had stayed at this place during my business trip to Ziro, the location is quite awesome as it was walkable distance to the Ziro Valley & Naara Aaba winery is also near to this place. We order local chicken for dinner and they exactly made as per our instructions so food is also remarkable the only thing the hotel could improve is the breakfast. The room and bathroom is also very neat. Overall it was a pleasant stay and the staff were very friendly.

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. We had a large double room with ensuite wet-room. It had a large balcony with seating to enjoy the lovely valley view.
It was winter and 2 radiators were provided in the room to keep things cosy. There was also good bedding for us to be warm in bed. There were several power cuts while we were there but it didn't affect us too much in terms of comfort and warmth.
The hotel doesn't have much atmosphere — it's more business in style. But our priorities were warm accommodation, a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with a shower — so decor wasn't a key concern for us.
There was NO Wi-Fi in the hotel, but the manager shared a hotspot with us for some time each night. As with most other hotels we've stayed at on this India trip, the TV didn't work and kept saying the subscription had not been renewed.
We were the only guests in the hotel when we stayed and being alone in the restaurant was a bit of a letdown; while the menu was notionally large, the options actually available were limited — plus the restaurant was cold and much of the table linen needed a wash.
Importantly, the staff were friendly and obliging.
There are limited options in Ziro and this was reasonable.
