Our family had planned a memorable stay at Kasa Resort after being impressed by the beautiful photographs and positive impression of the property. Unfortunately, due to severe weather conditions, landslides, and official travel advisories issued by the local administration at Naharlagun, we were unable to reach Ziro.
We promptly informed both the resort and Agoda about the situation, shared the official warnings and news reports, and requested either a cancellation or some flexibility. Sadly, neither party was willing to assist us. Instead of acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, we were repeatedly advised to take a much longer route to the resort, which was neither practical nor safe considering the prevailing weather conditions.
What disappointed us the most was not just the refusal to consider a refund or alternative solution, but the complete lack of empathy. We remained stranded for nearly 4–5 hours with nowhere to go, while reports indicated that travellers in the region were stranded and some were even airlifted by the Indian Air Force due to the severity of the situation. Despite knowing the circumstances, no one from the resort checked on our safety or well-being. The only response we received was to "try to reach the resort. "
Natural calamities are beyond anyone's control, and travellers understand that businesses have policies. However, extraordinary situations call for compassion and flexibility.

Had a wonderful experience at this Kasa Resort Ziro. The rooms were neat, hygienic, and well-maintained with all necessary amenities. Staff service was very friendly and quick to respond. The food deserves special mention—delicious, flavorful, and served hot. Truly value for money. Will definitely visit again.
