We recently stayed here and had an amazing experience. The property is well maintained with clean rooms.
The seafood was outstanding – fresh, flavorful and perfectly cooked. We tried prawns, crab and fish curry, and everything tasted excellent.
The staff were courteous, responsive and made our stay comfortable.
Definitely one of the best stays for seafood lovers. We will surely visit again!

I stayed at Praveer Palace for two days. There is always confusion during check-in—even when the booking is made in advance and paid for, the process is never seamless. There is a bar parlour right next to the hotel reception, and both share the same entrance, which may be uncomfortable for families.
I stayed in two different rooms over the two days, and both had a bad smell. The bedsheets and pillow covers were stained, smelly, and not clean. The rooms were very untidy. For a single person, they charge ₹1, 000 per day.

Excellent stay! The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful, making the stay pleasant and hassle-free. Location is convenient. Definitely recommended. Food: Truly authentic coastal food! The flavors reminded me of home-style cooking. Fresh seafood, perfectly spiced curries. A must-visit place for anyone who loves real coastal cuisine.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The pricing is very reasonable for the quality and service they provide.
The food was absolutely delicious – the **chicken biriyani** and **chicken ghee roast** are a must-try! The restaurant is family-friendly and offers a great dining experience.
The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of the best parts is that the beach is located very close to the hotel, making it a perfect spot for a refreshing walk and enjoying the view.
The staff and faculty were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay.
Overall, it’s a fantastic place to visit with family. Highly recommended and definitely worth staying here. Must visit! 🌊✨

Avoid This Hotel at All Costs – Filthy, Unhygienic, and Disrespectful Staff**
We booked two rooms for my elderly aunties, and the experience was appalling. Both rooms had disgusting, foul-smelling bathrooms with slippery, improperly cleaned floors. The bedsheets and pillow covers were not changed from the previous guests—just rearranged to appear fresh, though they were visibly stained and dirty.
To make matters worse, rats infested the rooms, chewing through our suitcases and even the snacks we brought. When we complained, the staff laughed instead of taking action. Basic amenities like soap were missing, and the "complimentary" water bottles were just refilled tap water.
The complete lack of customer service, hygiene, and professionalism made our stay unbearable. Do not waste your money—this hotel will ruin your trip — AVOID AT ALL COST.

Compare to Shetty bar, you must visit here. They have maintained very clean and neat rooms and service and the facility visit year for better pricing and clean well maintained rooms as well as restaurant.

Don't go to this lodge. They are cheating. I was not aware that this hotel is 27 kms from Mookambika temple and their staff also did not tell. I sent Rs 500 as advance as requested by them. Immediately within minutes I cancelled my booking. They promised to refund my advance in 3 days they never refunded. Be careful my tourist friends.

It was good. Near highway and a bar attached. Average.

Hotel is looking like a 3 Star. Ambience is great! Work table, Lengthy spacious room with Full Ventilation. We took 2+1 and it costed just 2000 with AC, Wi-Fi Lift and Resturant also available with affordable price. Hotel management is very Good we had a Late Checkout for 3 hours they didn't charge us extra.

Booked hotel by an mobile application. We contacted the hotel while en route to the hotel. But the hotel informed they have already cancelled the booking and the hotel in charge was very rude. They were asking to contact the booking platform. The booking platform didn't notify us regarding the cancellation and also they responded even they were not aware of the cancellation.
Advice is contact prior travelling to hotel as they might cancel and for a family it was really tough to find rooms again in short notice. Booking platform tried to arrange alternate hotels but said they were not able to book and replied will provide refund of the full amount. They also said they will provide extra more upto 5k for the room we book. Also I think their should be customerfriendly persons not the onw who will rudley disconnects phone.

Wifi had NO Internet due to recharge…
Jet Spray was broken in the washroom and can't be fixed.
Bed and pillows were so dirty…

Good place to stay. Staff is very friendly and good service. Hotel has resturant and serves north & South Indian and Chinese food (cusien).

Clean & spacious rooms. Employees were good, they were only fluent in kannada and Hindi. But I am able to communicate with them by my below average English skills. 2 days before the journey they asked 1000 rupees as advance and I paid it, then rest of the amount had paid at the hotel. Our group has majority of ladies, so I was worried about the BAR operating in the ground floor. But we didn't face any difficulty of that.
I have seen people complaining about the distance between hotel and Mookambika temple. Yes there is 30 KM distance but in my view if you are travelling as a big group (mine was 13 people group) choose this hotel, then You will definitely save 5000/6000 rupees comparing to booking room near the Mookambika temple. You will also get clean and neat room comparing to rooms at Mookambika temple. Just plan your trip like this kerala->udupi->murudeshwar->baindur-> check in hotel afternoon — > visit Mookambika temple in the evening — > return to hotel — > sleep — > check out room at 5:30 AM & go to kudajadri hiking — > return to kerala.

Very good, clean place. Receptionist was very cordial and hospitable. Excellent accomodation.

Very bad unprofessional staff (person to whom the online phone number is redirected) as he denied entry for us in the last hour after telephonically accepting my booking after paying. He made a mistake by giving us confirmation without even confirming the booking from his side. Moreover he even had the audacity to blame us saying we delayed the payment, when the payment was made after 30mins of sending the payment link.
Only good thing was he repaid the money back.
Never ever recommend this hotel to anyone.

We had a very bad experience from the people there. We booked a room directly calling the hotel. They gave the QR code and we paid the advance within 20 minutes. After 3 hours when we were about to reach there, they called and informed that our booking is cancelled since we made the payment late. The behaviour of the person who called us was very rude. They gave the advance back.
