Scenic beauty. You can catch sunset as well as sunrise along the lake and hills. That's the best part.

Good place to stay over. Very nicely made. The rooms are small and needs maintaining. The hotel is very well located and one if the finest views of the lake. The pools is small and the service is ok. The staff is good and helpful. I would love to be here again as an when I can. You can't just get enough to enjoy the nature here.

Beautiful property overlooking the scenic Vaitarna lake. Rooms are big and well maintained, with some of the premium rooms providing a great view of the lake and surrounding hillside. Kid friendly property. Definitely recommended for a weekend stay in the monsoons.

Great scenic location n good rooms. The surroundings have been well built with nice garden swimming pool etc. If u are looking from an out of the city stay experience this is a good place.

Everything was perfect except for the bathroom which needs to be maintained thTs why one star less. The food the staff the view was absolutely gorgeous.

Supportive staff. Didnt liket the food, was typical home made like and charges were higher. Also, the rent charges keep on fluctuating. Do carry your liquor because its in isolated place and nearest wine shop is 1 hr.

Very good stay, isolated location, lake nearby & very scenic. Rooms need a bit of maintenance. Staff is very kind, helpful and approachable. They have good spread for buffet meals. Carry your own wine & liquor as there is no shop nearby, hotel staff can also arrange booze for you if you inform in advance. Will surely visit again.

It's a good and quiet place to stay for couple of days. Nice ambience well maintained. Swimming pool is cleaned every day which is a plus point. Big garden area with multiple activities for all age group. Food was okay. Dining area very small. Nothing much to do nearby. Only vaitarna dam and in evening you can go near dam to watch sunset and morning for sunrise. Staff friendly.

Location good presently work is in progress avoid going by looking at photos, very very small swimming pool, no activities, small area of garden, rooms do not have clean curtains. Restaurant and food not up to the mark as they charge. Keep watch on restaurants bills, charge at 15% instead of 5% rooms booked online are pathetic, at site I changed room paying additionally…

Rooms : Initially we got the glass house rooms. With a kid we had to climb up on those revolving stairs. Not the best for kids. Next day we asked for a change in room and they were happy to help us. Food : We love local village simple food. The chicken was Yum and breakfast menu was good and well done. Service : The staff is friendly and makes sure that your needs are met. Our little kid wanted to watch TV in the dining hall while having food, Their cable box was not working. But just to make ends meet they got another box from somewhere took the exta effort to set it up and keep the TV rolling. Location : We went and spent time int he middle of the lake sitting on a mat with sandwiches and tea watching the sunset. Its a beautiful experience and one must go and try it. Okay so this is applicable only for the month of May : It was hot summer and most of the acitivites in the properties were not available. Maybe in the rains the same are made available. So cannot judge based on the time of the year. But overall a super property to spend time with family and friends. I would definitely go there again.

Nice place to be at, by the lake side, away from hustle and bustle of City, comfortable rooms and good service too. Enjoyed a lot last week with family here. Serenity is the word, which is perfectly used to define this place. Food is good, though not explored the whole amenities here, Overall a Soothingly Cosy Experience.

Stayed at their private villa last weekend. Its a super place with amazing unhindered views of the lake. Its quite a big property with well maintained lawns/ pathways etc. The food at the restaurant is good. The staff is very cooperative and always happy to help. Lot of activities inside the resort itself like swimming pool/ children's play area/ archery/ quad bikes/ bonfires/ barbecue etc. One can even try their hand at fishing in the lake. Had an awesome time.

Really lovely place for weekend getaway. Cool, calm with well appointed rooms and good food and service. Rowing in the Vaitarna river is a must do.

It is one of the best resorts I have ever been too. The staff is very kind and helpful. The service provided by them is very nice. Me and my friends are very much happy after visiting Jen Jon. Keep it up.

Amazing resort … Kids loved it… We had a very peaceful & awesome reunion. Even when kids were around us. But kids were in there own sweet world. Would recommend everyone to make a trip once … At least … Keep it up guys.

Food was Decent enough. The Rooms and accommodation was quite good with all the basic household items like TV, AC, cooler, Fan and all. This place has some Great views all the time of the day. Has a separate dining hall. Toilets are clean and well maintained. It has a swimming which is pretty small but Clean enough. They offer cycling facilities and ATV to drive.

Very nice resort. Great food. Awesome fun. Love to return here soon. Dont miss hidden waterfall.

The stay at JenJon was very pleasant and enjoyable for us. We liked the location very much. The service people were very nice and polite. We liked the food very much. Also, the Hidden Waterfall is an amazing adventure that no one should miss…

Amazing place. Helpful staff. Excellent service. A must visit place to experience a perfect holiday and multiple adventure activities. The stay is perfect to explore and enjoy the beauty of nature. Beautiful surroundings. Spacious accomodations with modern decor. Breath taking views. Enjoyed a lot.

The rooms were nice n big food over all was nice and the activities they have were also nice.

Location is the strength of this place but only if you get the lake facing cottages. Service is good. At least the people try to meet your expectations. Food however needs improvement. We did a all food inclusive package and was regimented to strict timings. Delays resulted in drastic reduction of the quality being served. Choice anyway was extremely limited. The drive though is good and enjoyable.

Nice location, well kept nice and clean place, food is simple and tasty, support staff very helpful and courteous, admin needs vast improvement, toilets leaking and foul smell.

2 star category resort with very basic amenities. Not worth except location advantage. Not much facilities available. Room size pool 3 ft depth.

JenJon is a nice getaway in Igatpuri. The location, view and food are the advantages. However, don't go by only the photos for the rooms shown in the website. They are much smaller in reality and quite different in reality. Nevertheless a nice weekend getaway from Mumbai.

Only location is good rest everything was totally pathetic! Way too expensive for the for the services and quality of food they gave. Food was too simple and not at all tasty. Constant electricity cut and no one bothers to check untill you call and tell them. No intercom. Washrooms were stinking of the drainage water! Completely disappointed!

Bad service. False promises. Very far away, bad roads… not at all safe to travel at nights… Toook time to reach there due to the road conditions, had to miss the high tea… When we reached there the staff did not offer us any refreshments, & kept the kids hungry till 8:30 pm. Did not even give us a refund after missing Lunch & high tea… I was upgraded to the first floor room only because it was available & I booked it on a friday… no other reasons. Never ever go to JenJon. The surroundings are good, please search for a better place elsewhere…

Nice place to hang out but food not that good. The roads are not good so get your vehicle serviced before you travel here. Service is good.

Decent weekend getaway. But actual view to Lake Vaitarna from Swiss Chalet is limited. Food is average for Vegetarians. All activities advertised are not available — except Swimming pool and indoor game. Pets are allowed at cost but nobody to clean the mess Guest wander & 'enjoy' with drinks at pool creating major discomfort for families.

Best location. However road to reach there is not good. Rooms are spacious, well maintained. Staff was polite and prompt. Food was not up to the mark.

Amazing weekend getaway to JenJon… Lovely cozy top rooms with superb view! Very serene and well maintained! We stayed at Swiss Chalet top room. Enjoyed all the 4 meals especially the fried fish for dinner freshly bought from the vaitarna lake. The boating, kaya and ATV rides were a delight. Very kind and helpful staffs especially Praveen and Madhu. Loved their plantation. Beautiful flowers. So many mango trees. It has greenery everywhere… the sitting areas were nicely put up around the property. Pool is small but that doesn't matter, the experience of swimming in it was nice. We enjoyed the morning walk to the farm and could buy fresh tomatoes, green veggie and brinjal from the villagers managing the farm. Will like to come back again during monsoon and explore their other properties as well.

The Swiss Chalet is awesome. Nice interiors with wooden flooring and walls. Offers good views of the lake. Food is nice and delicious. Hospitality and service are good. Service and food need improvement, though. But overall, the stay was very pleasant. Would highly recommend it.

Pros.
Very beautiful scenic place. So much greenery. Well maintained property and rooms. Good staff. Food was also good. Cons.
We could not use the pool because the water was so chilled and it is not usable for small kids as it is deep. You will have to carry your own floats.
Road from ghoti to resort was not good it also lacks some proper direction points.
You have to pay service tax on food which they didnt tell initially before billing.
