One of the best hotels. If you want luxury, ITC Maratha is the place to stay. Rooms are of a decent size. Food options are amazing. The large part of the pleasure staying there is the extraordinary food that is offered — Indian cuisine at its best. Had a pleasant stay particularly because of the great cuisine. Really appreciate the sumptuous and wholesome breakfast spread & the lunch buffet. Overall the right mix of great hospitality, superb cuisine and great amenities makes this hotel highly recommendable. Also very close to international airport.

Breakfast at the hotel is simply amazing. I got upgraded to a suite which was impeccable and had all luxuries I could possibly think of. Every little detail carefully looked after and the room service was quick. The butler service ensured I got what I asked for. Overall a fantastic experience! nice.

I've visited the ITC Maratha few weeks ago to attend a corporate event hosted… Man oh man, what a stunning place to be… the banquets are so big and Amazing… And the gardens very very beautiful… And to top it off, brilliant food from South Indian to Japanese Cusuine… Wow… I still am mesmerized by the experience…

Grand, exotic and luxury. Warming hospitality, mouth trenching food delicacy with options of multiple cuisines will leave you startled. A luxury stay with ambience of rich heritage is an eye ball rolling moment. Comfortable and spacious ball rooms and conference rooms can be used for official and personal events.

7 star hotel located conveniently, close to the international airport. Excellent security checking for each vehicle. Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I was there for a corporate event at the ballroom, the arrangements were top notch, albeit only for small groups. Food was absolutely delicious. Definitely lives up to it's upscale reputation.

This is a beautiful hotel, the rooms are well sized, well equipped and beautifully maintained. The pool area can get a bit busy when the hotel is full, but is still a great place to relax and swim. As always the staff are universally excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The fact that standards have not dropped when so many other luxury hotels are penny inching is a credit to everyone at the hotel and its management. I will be back yet again for sure.

Hotels don't get much more 5-star than this place. Great rooms and well laid out. Staff is over the top helpful. At first you feel a little guilty about having them wait on you so much but you get used to it fast. Place is pricey, especially by Indian standards. Restaurants are a bit overrated but lavish. I was perfectly fine with reasonably priced room service.

It's one of the best luxurious hotel in the country. Every aspect of this hotel from hospitality to comfort of stay is just awesome. Restaurants here serves delicious food and the ambience is great. Staff is very humble and services are very good. Rooms are very spacious and equipped with all the amenities.

Attended a day long conference at the Hotel. Frankly speaking, the quality of services was very average for a 5-star Hotel. The breakfast was pedestrian and the service very slow with the buffet dishes going empty and delayed replenishment. The Lunch was luckily better. However, overall the quality could perhaps have been improved.

Made for deep pockets, ITC Maratha has a great cafe setting in their centre court. If you are looking for a great meal (family or business) the hotel offers some of India's finest options. Just ensure you have a working credit card. :P.

Being a 5 Star property the food at ITC Maratha meets international standards while giving importance to the local Maharashtrian cuisine. It’s close proximity to the International Airport should make it the first choice for travellers who love luxury!

Pretty nice hotel very close to the international airport at Mumbai. The building has an older palace look and at places the decor can seem a bit dated. The staff and service was great and the food in restaurants was also very good. Would definitely recommend this place.

Super Afghan steakhouse in Mumbai. And we eat with our fingers.

When I come to Mumbai then if it goes to this hotel — great room gute/practical location, great breakfast and working Wlan.

A very good 5 * hotel … great luxury and a lot of pomp.
In total, I have been on site more than 5 times.

Unfortunately, during and after my last stay I had difficulties with an alleged no-show fee: I was asked to charge 5000 INR fee, even though my confirmed reservation had clearly matched my actual arrival. I clarified the whole thing a total of 4 times (! ) … each time it was clarified and each time the amount was called for anew! Massive complaints from me were repeatedly accepted and still reheated. Something like that is annoying!
Apologies came final by email and one-line. Such a thing is not worthy of such a premium house. I'm not going anymore!

Adding it's traditional charm ITC Maratha is an amazing hotel offering posh rooms with elegant furnishings, an upscale diner with different Indian and international delicacies. Service is good.

Dakshin restaurant — Excellent South-Indian food. Chettinad, Malabar cuisine is as authentic as it gets… in Mumbai, at least.

The itc maratha Is a beutiful and large hotel. Decor needs some sprucing up. The breakfast and services are fantastic. Love the food at their iconic restaurants like peshawari and dim phukt.

ITC Grand Maratha is all about the traditional Indian charm and elegance with all modern amenities. Excellent and luxurious furnishing of rooms, excellent food and service. I often found often was that it was fully booked … so booking early may help.

Close to international airport, good food and nice rooms. Some part of decor might look like dated. But overall value for money. However, I find it extremely inconvenient that they don't have any airport shuttle service. It is too close to hail a cab and too inconvenient to walk. Many airports around the world make walking footbridges to nearby hotels. I wish this hotel and other 5 star hotels nearby had made an effort to get such infrastructure. If not, then keep a shuttle. It only takes 5 minutes to drive from airport to hotel.

My experience is limited to the lounge bar area, but it was immaculate, and the dry gin martinis top notch. The hotel's decor theme is the best I've seen locally.

This hotel is aligned with Starwood properties for points. It is a nice hotel, but it is a little dated and is heavily carpeted, which cause low indoor air quality with the build up of Mumbai air pollution and burning incense. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed, but the poor indoor air quality ruined it for me.

Great ambience… Food is not great.

Very bad service. I had submitted my laundry around 5am for washing and was told it would take 6 hours. I asked them to deliver it between 1-2pm as I was planning to leave around 4pm. Finally at 3:30pm my laundry still hadn't come so I called to ask them to deliver it. After 4pm there was a knock on the door and it was a housekeeping staffer. I told him I did not need housekeeping as I was trying to check out, but that I did need my laundry. He said he would go check on it right away. At 4:30pm there was still no laundry delivered so I called again to ask what was the problem. Finally around 4:45pm my laundry was delivered. That too I had only submitted just 4 pieces for washing, and very simple items made of cotton. When I confronted the front desk about how inconvenienced I was at having to wait over an hour for my laundry, almost an hour beyond my scheduled check-out time, when I had somewhere to be afterwards, instead of apologizing and offering me some compensation the employee started making calls to verify my story as if he did not believe me. Terrible service. I expect better from an expensive & top-rated hotel and will never stay here again. In addition when I asked them to call me a rickshaw they told me in English that they were not responsible for the price of the ride since I was not using a hotel taxi. I am familiar with Mumbai and know that rickshaws run on a meter, so I didn't respond.

Was it a five star hotel? visited for two days stay wid family my door key was not functioning I had to keep waiting room service was pathetic and it was like I was visiting some showrooms Wi-Fi was not given when requested surrounded by residential buildings they can clearly see u and one balcony of a resident had a video camera on the top floor and facing towards the hotel total waste of money!

Stayed for two days in itc maratha from nov. 29 TO DEC1. the stay was wonderfull. room was well kept & staff were very very professional & friendly a special mention of appreciation janhavi in front office & niladri in coffee shop.

I am a frequent traveler and have stayed in this hotel many times. I had a mixed experience in the recent stay. First, I want to appreciate Santash who works in security department for his kind help every morning. There was a glitch in the car arrangement and he helped me to call the car rental company and quickly solved issue. The staffs (Cleatus and Prashant) who worked in Loung on 16th floor provided excellent services when I had my breakfast there. However, I was not very comfort with the room I had this time. Even I reported to the staff next day that I was not happy with my room, I got the offer to move to a tower room the day before I would check-out. When I had the dinner on Nov. 2, I was interested in the food in PanAsian menu. I was told that they have Chinese and Japaneses chef in the kitchen although PanAsian restaurant was under innovation. When I asked whether I could ask the questions to chef in person, I was then told that chef was out of town on that day. After I finished the dinner, I was told the chef would be on duty next day and warmly welcome me be back next day. I trusted them and went back for the dinner next day on Nov. 3. However, when I was told the chef was again not in the kitchen, I felt I was cheated. I then ordered a dish (prawn with Teriyaki sauce in Japaness style). It was awful. It was just like a soy sauce and very very salty. I had to spend about INR200 to buy a bottle water to "wash" the prawn so that I can eat it. On Nov.
