Nice place. Lot of care during hospitality. The arrangements environment weather control and also the view of lake from the hotel is breath taking. The more I say is less to describe this place. The food arrangement done was great. The ambiance of the hall is good along with decoration and other best interiors. We were mostly on the ground floor where the convention hall is. Regarding the first floor we have spa, live food counters, fully equipped gym and a bar. All in all the experience was best. Would like to be here again soon.

Great property & very well maintained. Rooms smell fresh & every stay has been comfortable. Its nice to have the lake view outside your window. Staff is overall helpful & friendly but their response time for room service is poor. Their room thermostat is unstable. It either gets too cold or too hot. Lounge area is comfortable & offers good service. Look for Sumeet he was born for hospitality. Very courteous boy & takes good care of his guests. Overall a grand looking hotel in the heart of the city that offers view of nature in the concrete jungle & value for money.

Well, a very spacious property. Clearly the very best in the area. Stayed in premium suite which offered the panaromic view across the directions. Rooms were good but we felt there are still rooms of improvement. The sofa covers, old wooden furniture are clearly worn out. The amenities are right there but needs a massive maintenance. The hotel should work on maintaining its premium tag.

Excellent location, premises is beautiful and well maintained. Hospitality of staff is remarkable specially restaurant staff of Fratelli fresh. Breakfast spread I liked more than dinner. Overall very elegant and memorable experience of staying in a room which had lake view. Thanks.

Nice place for a small get together. Good buffet lunch. Dessert variety is good. Food tends to get over after two and there was no replenishment of the dishes after 2. Nice atmosphere. Good view (overlooks the Powai Lake)

The location was easily accessible from Airport. The service was awesome. No issues from their staff. Food was delicious and good. Their rooms was clean with no issues. I would rate 99 out of 100 for the Hotel.

It's ideally located about 5 Km from airport. A perfect place to relax and rejuvenate. The rooms are beautifully done and the staff is very courteous. The restauranst caters for varied taste and cuisine. It has a beautiful lake facing swimming pool as well. The gym is nice and has adequate space and equipment. Overall a perfect holiday option.

Stayed here for a business trip. The service was excellent the staff where super friendly. Since my flight was delayed and we arrived late They even asked one of the outlets to stay open for a little while longer in order for me to grab dinner. The rooms themselves are cozy and modern with a nice view (pics added). The breakfast buffet has a large selection of food which is all very tasty.

This hotel situated in Lovely location. You can see an awesome lake view from certain places in the hotel. Different restaurant options — Cafe, Indian, Chinese, Italian restaurant a bar… Overall luxurious feel. You can arrange here your wedding ceremony. Any parties. Receptions. Many companies take here meetings sessions and trainings for their employees just because of beauty of this Hotel in its designs.

The Emperor's court is by far the best restaurant at the Renaissance. If you are in the mood for a good brunch I would highly recommend the Lake View Cafe. Lovely serene setting overlooking the lake. A great place for a family outing. If you want to go on a nice date, I would recommend the Emperor's court and ask them for a seat next to the window overlooking the lake.

Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel the hotel is located in a solicitary area although close to the rest of the city. A few meters from the hotel there is a park where you can take a good walk. The hotel has a spectacular view of the lake (ask for it when booking) some rooms have a view of a nearby hill with several houses and it is not a good view. everyone in the hotel are very friendly especially in the restaurant. Take advantage of the variety of food that the hotel has. It is not spicy it is seasoned.

To my surprise, the property was really good, and I can easily rate among one of best in Mumbai. Though it being far from mainstream Mumbai is the negative point. But other than that I found the staff to be helpful and at cause. Food menu was decent, though I couldn't try much. Overall a beautiful place to stay if the intention is to relax but if you have to work and have to travel frequently to south Mumbai than I guess trident and Hyatt are far better located.

Beautiful place generally. However found reception and lobby to the Ball Room building very spooky and isolated. There was not Single soul at the reception or lobby. No lights either. Found it very strange for a 5 star hotel…

The kitchen is very tasty and different. There are traditionally Indian, there is also European. Very friendly staff. The rooms are clean, cleaned on time. There are different TV channels, including the 1st channel! Russian.

Hotel that I frequented often with a very nice gym.
Restaurants on the other hand are very expensive and take care to ask for all available maps.

Very good hotel, service to the top!

It's an awesome and calm place. Lakeside location makes you feel better. Attended conference here. It's away from traffic also. Rooms are comfortable. Only for lifts I feel they should be more in numbers. Lift operation is tricky and I think there should be an attendant present there.

Good place to stay in middle of the city, with lots of greenery. Over all campus is very nice and lot place to walk and jog. Gym and swimming pool are very well maintained and up to date. Service during breakfast in restaurant is a bit tardy with folks there engrossed amongst themselves; you may need to request multiple times even to get a cup of coffee or tea. Rooms are well appointed and view is superb. Sunrise view from lake facing rooms is remarkable. Lounge on 36th floor is very nice, although it is for members.

Rooms, lawns, banquets, parking lots, overall a nice property for Events. The location is good too. The views are good and it's kind of a quite place. A decent place for weekend getaways. Can be considered, when you are looking for options. And also a good staff and great place for weddings, party and many more things are awesome…

Nice hotel situated in the banks of Powai Lake. Checking into this property feels like you've escaped the chaos of the city. That's the best part. The road leading up to the hotel is in a terrible state and the road after the security check point within the hotel premises also requires attention. Rooms are nice and food and beverage options are good though the all day restaurant was under renovation during our stay. I hope they open a beautiful restaurant with great food and service. Breakfast was great though I missed having my bagels with lox and bircher muesli.

Very well maintained hotel for Indian conditions, but unfortunately meets the requirements of the brand Marriot only conditionally. The prices unfortunately already.

This is my Favourite hotel. I love almost everything about this place. From decor to service. My kids love this hotel even more. The rooms on the lake side are beautifully done n breakfast is the best in Mumbai. A must if you are staying here.

Nice hotel, spacious rooms, very good restaurants, pleasant staff.

Great location on the Banks of Powai Lake with amazing views. Rooms are spacious but maintenance need to be improved. Service is inadequate, especially with the reservations staff, the waiting time is abnormally high. Had the same issues on multiple occasions. Hotel frequently gets large family events which probably takes a toll on the service. Buffets spreads are alright, South Indian cuisine not so much. Overall leaves you with mixed feelings.

I went for the corporate party. I would review for its food only. The starters were very good, but dinner was okay. It didn't came up to my expectations. Being a famous hotel, the service was excellent. So overall 4/5.

It is a nice property, located at Powai lake. Very much connected with town and nature. It has capacity to accommodate at least 1000 person at a time with their huge conference halls and two multistory buildings to accommodate guests for any function. Rooms with view are treat to your eyes while staying there. Your stay will be made more comfortable with friendly staff there to help you at each stage of your stay.

Every thing is just excellent. Awesome place beside powai lake. Good nature view from here in heart of Mumbai. One of the oldest and famous hotel in Mumbai. Its always known for its service, which is just awesome. Food is good and provides good options.

Clean, comfy rooms. Some rooms have a nice, bright lake view. Breakfast spread is superb. Quite a few food options inside the hotel. Not too many options outside within walkable range. Friendly, efficient staff. Nice pool, garden, etc.

One of the great Hotel in Mumbai and a perfect convention center for professional events. The major setback was the road leading up to Renaissance Convention Center had a lot of potholes which could be taken care by the hotel management. Services were good coupled with polite and humble people.

Beautiful place. I had been here for a award function, loved it. Amazing ballroom. Delicious cuisine and good customer service. Gorgeous view and scenic points. Worth going twice.

Beautiful property at one of the most scenic location in Mumbai. You don't feel you are in Mumbai once you are inside the property. Very comfortable rooms will all amenities. They also have a good swimming pool and a great spa. Three restaurants with great food options. Very hospitable staff.

I am a silver elite member of Marriott and I can say this is the worst hotel I stayed. Very lazy staff. When we came for corporate event, we came with a huge luggage and none of the bell boys staying outside came forward to help. When I ask for trolley they are asking me to put the luggage myself to checking first. Ridiculous! While checking in at midnight they said elite counter is not working and when I escalate they said it is working. Again laziness! Elevator never work with key cards. I changed key cards 3 times and same issue with my friend. When asked, they ask us avoid electrical devices. Should I throw my phone? Last but not least kettle in room is dirty. Disgusting! Waiting one more day to check out from here. If given a chance avoid it.

Congested approach road to this big property. Staff is good and courteous. Room which I had seen is fine though some facilities in bathroom could be improved upon. I will refrain from commenting on the food as I was here for a conference and had food at the conference venue. Will not be doing justice as I will tend to compare it with the food I had in the hotel where I was staying. Best part is that they do read the comments and respond.

I wud love to giv 4 stars for the quality of rooms in the new tower, but did not expect such a pathetic front office team who were rude to me and couple of others who checked in the same day… Rooms were not provided until 2PM on 7th of June though we had reserved it 2 weeks earlier… We had jus arrived from Bangalore early in the morning jus to wait to get rooms… To top it all the guys in reception were very cold to our concerns… Restaurant staff were grt… Amenities in the room were well maintained but definitely not 5 star… I sincerely recommend to avoid this place but if no option make sure u check the availability of the room (even if u hav a confirmed reservation)

While the property is good; the customer service is pathetic. The staff employed should be more customer friendly and receptive. Sure not a Marriot Brand worth. Think twice before stepping in top this hotel. You may be hit by Zakia bearing mosquitoes or malaria bearing mosquitoes. Find lot of them at all places, be it in the restaurant or conference rooms or rooms. All over. All the best. Mani.

Great location, being right beside the powai lake. The property is pretty big with a nice promenade by the lake. Food is generally good but the restaurants are a bit pricey, even for 5 star standards. Rooms are good and the lake-facing ones have great views. The wash rooms need more water pressure though. Overall, a great hotel to enjoy your stay.

Very nice ambiance. High standards and well maintained. One of the biggest capacity to host large get togethers.

Pretty nice for a Marriott looks wise. The suites themselves are in the process of being updated so try and get a room in the second tower or one of the higher levels in the first tower. The older rooms are fine, but a bit tired and dated. Food is good. The staff here are really lovely and helpful. Good value for money.

We had visited for the INDIASOFT program as a Foreign Delegate to this center on March 03-4'2016. Amazing… Hotel looks fantastic. Well planned, Organized. They do a thorough checking of the car before you enter the hotel. All of them when you enter treats like you a King… They upgraded to Room one of the Presitigious or Presidential Suite. Awesome. Facilities are close to IIT Powai one of the prestigious institutions in the country. Powai Lake view was super and good. They have different bars and what not. We cannot say there is something in it. People worth mentioning are 1. Mrs. Babita Kanwar 2. Front desk who checked me in — forgot his name 3. Uday Singh — 4. Concierge desk.

Most horrible hotel ever! Bad staff. Bad rooms. Bad service. Bad maintenance. Bad attitude overall.

View of powai lake is cherry on the cake. Visit during monsoon Highly recommended.

Interior good. Bed room I dont know… not slept. But not international standard as 5 star. Management… got some problem… is it really managed by marriott? Worst is spa… too dirty and smell badly when taking shower…

Staying here second time and the new building is very modern and very peaceful indeed, view is not that great as you land up looking at some random hills and shanty town but definitely lot better than the previous (old) building. View over "Powai Lake" is amazing, staff is warm and welcoming. Hotel is still in it's 90's so might not appeal to some like me. 4 star for view, tidiness and that secret mystique fragrance.

One word describes the old tower at the hotel — "horrible". The Customer Service, for a Marriott property and business travelers, is pathetic. I wish I could post the pictures I have taken of severely stained carpets, mold in the bathroom, hallways smelling of stale and moist garment, disconnecting of call made to front desk from the room, AC choosing to stop working at random times and frequent dropping of the ball with room service. Spoke with the front desk manager, Nandini Verma, a few times and the deliberate answer to a room change request — we are sold out. Very disappointing experience, as I travel a lot for business and prefer to stay at Marriott properties, mostly in North American and Europe. Avoid this hotel if possible — and if you are booked in it and traveling, prefer a room on the newer tall tower.
