Ginger Vapi

Overall, it was a good stay. The restaurant staff was friendly. We stayed at this place twice—once while going to Baroda and the second time while coming back.
During our onward journey, we arrived late after dinner hours, but the staff still accommodated our request and prepared food for us. Later, we asked the front desk for an extra pillow. We waited for almost half an hour and had to call at least four times before receiving it.
However, during our return stay, we didn’t face any issues. The hotel is located right next to the highway and is overall a good option for taking a break during a road trip.

Today, I stayed at Ginger Hotel, Vapi, and it was a very disappointing experience. The room was not properly cleaned, and basic hygiene standards were not maintained. Additionally, I ordered chicken tikka, which was half-cooked and unacceptable. Overall, the experience was pathetic, and I would rate it as one of the worst stays due to poor cleanliness and food quality.

I am currently staying at Ginger Hotel, and I would like to raise a serious concern regarding the bed provided in my room.
The bed is extremely uncomfortable and has caused continuous discomfort, making it difficult to get proper rest. I have already informed the hotel staff multiple times about this issue, but unfortunately, no effective action has been taken so far. It feels like my concern is not being taken seriously.
As a guest, I expect basic comfort and prompt resolution of such issues. I request you to please look into this matter urgently and either replace the mattress or provide an alternative room with a comfortable bed.
1) There is only one receptionist available, who is also handling housekeeping-related work. This creates delays and confusion, and the front desk is often unattended.
2) The housekeeping staff is engaged in tasks like carrying luggage from the car, which ideally should be handled by designated support staff. This affects room service and cleanliness timelines.
3) The receptionist is unable to clearly understand or address guest issues, even after explaining the problem multiple times.
4) There appears to be a shortage of trained staff, leading to poor coordination between reception and housekeeping teams.
5) Response time to guest complaints is very slow, and follow-ups are not proactive.
Overall, there is a lack of clear communication and ownership, which makes guests feel unheard and unsupported.

My experience at this hotel was very poor, mainly due to the unprofessional behavior of the management staff. The staff was rude, uncooperative, and showed no interest in resolving issues. Basic hospitality and customer service were completely lacking.
The room cleanliness was below standard, and several promised amenities were either missing or not functioning. When these concerns were raised, the response from management was careless and dismissive.
Overall, the hotel failed to meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, professionalism, or value for money.

Nice Hotel with all basic amenities which are required. Rooms are clean and cozy, service is okay but food needs to be improved a lot…
I had Idli Sambhar in breakfast in which Idli was too Hard and sambhar is dark in colour and watery. I feel it is made with frozen material by adding water… No taste at all.

I will give just 1 star. I recently stayed for on night with my handicap son and asked for a plastic stool or a plastic chair so he can take bath. But it was not available. While booking I have mentioned this problem and requested receptionist to provide this but it was not done. He can’t stand and take bath, but they could not provide. So the hotel is not handicapped friendly. Be aware of this before booking.

Excellent experience with Ginger Vapi. The staffs are extremely polite and loved the service very well. The cafeteria is good and they also tend to special food request.

Very disappointed with my stay. The rooms were not clean and the staff was not very cooperative. The breakfast options were very limited, which was quite surprising and disappointing for a Ginger hotel under the IHCL brand. Overall, not worth the money definitely expected better standards from a reputed chain like this. The only good thing is its Location. Its a Highway touch property.

As you are in service and hospitality industry the most important thing is cleanliness… which Vapi Ginger lacks miserably.
As we where travelling to Mumbai from Kutch on 21st October 2025 we had drive alot so we thought lets take halt at Ginger. We reached gyngier by 1.00am reception was on 3rd floor and there was only 1 receptionist we where allotted room on 5th floor as we open our room we where shock with dirty footprints and water was leaking in bathroom we went back on 3rd floor we were extremely tired than she gave us another room on same floor omg the fan in another room which was above the bed was covered with dust as it's not been clean from many days. It was impossible to sleep under such dirty fan. We went back on 3rd floor this time our patience were not in control and we asked for the refund and left the Hotel.
After taking refund we went in another hotel which was 100 times better than gyngier.
Never had experience such things in any hotel or any dharmshala.

Absolutely fantastic in accomodation, staff behaviour and room service. Kudos to staff for their talking and handling sense towards customer. Recommended one.

Gudli and Jasmine in the reception were patient and very helpful. Happy with the service. Location right on the highway which is great, (although during rains the entrance can be little tricky). Restaurant food was delicious. I booked using Tata Neu app as hotel’s rate was higher by almost 20%

A weirdly designed and aging hotel. If you ever end up in this place, prepare to lift your luggage, up and down several steps before u can get to either your room or reception. Only plus its location along the highway. Even entrence is so bad, it took me a minute to menouvre my car to the entrance. Surely Taj group cannot offer this substandard hotel in guise of budget hotel. Offering.

The Reception Team comprising of Monali Sha, Kajal, Sushree & Gudli was very courteous, efficient & customer-focused.
Ashish from the Restaurant Team was extremely helpful & ensured closure to all breakfast requirements in a smooth & efficient manner.
Jayanti from Housekeeping was very cooperative & always provided service with a smile.
Standard Twin Rooms were well-lit, Split ACs were working efficiently, bed & bath linen was immaculate & beds & pillows were very comfortable. Riverside views with the hills in the background were lovely.

I recently stayed at Ginger Hotel, Vapi, and was quite disappointed with the overall experience. The rooms were very smelly and poorly maintained, and the size of the room was extremely small, making it uncomfortable. Even the bed was not up to the mark and far too small for a couple to sleep properly. On top of that, the flush in the bathroom was not working, which caused a lot of inconvenience during the stay. The only good part of the experience was the breakfast, which was satisfying. Overall, I expected a much better standard from Ginger Hotels, and I sincerely hope the management looks into improving room hygiene, maintenance, and guest comfort. Pb.

We stay in ginger vapi with family but freckly tell you I had very bad experience with this ginger property as per my experience I worst experience with that much amount we paid for this brand name like a GINGER and too much delay reply from the staff each thing also we paid 5090 per night even the hotel not provide dental kit and also very bad room condition not clean and very bad smell room when we enter in room.
We believe in GINGER BRAND BUT worthless.
Like we booked two rooms.
