Ginger Vapi

Had a pleasant stay at Ginger Vapi. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was polite and helpful throughout my visit. The location is convenient, making it easy to travel around. The food was good, though there is a little room for improvement in variety. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and good value for money. I would recommend it and would consider staying here again.

The stay arrangement is ok with basic things available, however needs to improve the ambiance, cleanliness and arrangement of rooms.
The food is tasty and good with limited varieties. The services in the restaurant are very good — Rashmi, Aashish, Ankit and Somnath are doing a very good job of managing the services in the restaurant.
Overall a good value for money stay.

​Recently stayed here and had a generally good experience. The hotel has a lot going for it but there is definitely room for a few minor improvements. I would like to praise the housekeeping for their service. The room cleaning staff Mithun H was incredibly polite, thorough, and ensures the room was absolutely spotless and fresh every single day.

The service from Sriya, Shruti & Ashish in the dining was very good. They have attended to us in a very kind polite manner. The food was good.
Other than that, the cleanliness of the room was very poor. Pick up and drop facility was not provided promptly.

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience during my stay at this hotel. The biggest issue was cleanliness, which was far below basic standards. The bed was full of dust, and the bedsheets looked dirty and unwashed, as if they had not been changed for a long time. There were no proper pillow covers provided, which is unacceptable for any hotel. While sleeping at night, dust kept coming onto my skin, making it very uncomfortable, and I could not sleep properly the entire night.
The maintenance of the hotel is also poor. The lift was not functioning properly, causing unnecessary inconvenience, especially when carrying luggage or moving between floors.
Considering the price of the room, the quality and service provided do not match at all. It feels very overpriced for such poor conditions.
Room service was extremely slow and unprofessional. Every time we requested something, the staff kept saying “please wait” and gave the excuse that the laundry person had not come for several days. This shows poor management and lack of responsibility towards guests.
The most disappointing part was the behavior of the receptionist. They were completely irresponsible, unhelpful, and did not take any action even after repeated complaints. There was no sense of urgency or concern for customer comfort.
Overall, this was a very bad experience. Poor cleanliness, bad service, and unprofessional staff. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
2. Second time experience.

I stayed here while my business visit to VAPI,
Location of hotel is really good, well connected. But it will be good if hotel can add board close to entrance as its entry is next to car showroom and easily misguided.
Entry is good, reception at 3rd floor, both receptionists were very polite and friendly, I can say also have good humor when we were talking about places to see around.
Due to gas shortage there were limited options in kitchen and fully understandable at this point. Staff working in restaurant in morning breakfast were really friendly, helping guests for food.
Rooms: here I can say they could have done bit better, not properly cleaned bedsheets, or pillow covers… after paying premium for Ginger brand I expected good quality beddings.
I asked for Iron and it was also really bad situation so I had to place towed over iron board to iron my white shirt to avoid stains from iron board, I recommend if they could buy steam iron…
So I will keep 3 stars for room but 5 for restaurant staff.

I have always preferred staying at Ginger hotels for my travels, but unfortunately, my most recent stay at Ginger Vapi was a bit of a mixed bag due to persistent technical issues.
The biggest frustration was that access card failed to work for both the room and the elevator throughout the stay. Every time I needed to go to my room, I had to wait for a staff member to accompany me and use a master card. While the staff were helpful in assisting, it significantly hampered my privacy and convenience. This is a basic amenity that needs urgent maintenance.

I booked one room through Booking. Com for 2nd January 2026 and checked out on 3rd January 2026. I had a very bad experience at Hotel Ginger Wapi.
Though we booked Non-smoker room, I was allotted with smokers room. My wife is asthamatic and had to shift the room within half an hour as it was stinking badly with smell of cigarette smoke.
Hotel Ginger Wapi is a very old property and needs massive renovations and upgradation. Instead of providing body wash, a very small low standard soap is being provided by them.
The flush tank water was flowing non stop through out our stay, which disturbed our sleep too. The technician sent from reception couldn't fix the problem and water was flowing all the time, almost for 22 hrs.
Only one electronic card key was issued to two of us. It was to be swiped for using lift. Either of us could not go down/out separately and come back to room as only one card was issued.
There was issue of electric supply and hotel was not having sytem of auto shifting to generator. One has to go to particular location and has to put on generator. Lift was not working due to power failure and we had to climb stairs.
Electronic card key was inoperative next day morning creating lot of trouble. The Manager and staff were absolutely inactive in all matters.
After checked in we received our bags after almost 3 hours. Called up reception several times for sending bags and finally had to go to the reception. Then the bags were sent with Security person.

Overall, it was a good stay. The restaurant staff was friendly. We stayed at this place twice—once while going to Baroda and the second time while coming back.
During our onward journey, we arrived late after dinner hours, but the staff still accommodated our request and prepared food for us. Later, we asked the front desk for an extra pillow. We waited for almost half an hour and had to call at least four times before receiving it.
However, during our return stay, we didn’t face any issues. The hotel is located right next to the highway and is overall a good option for taking a break during a road trip.

Today, I stayed at Ginger Hotel, Vapi, and it was a very disappointing experience. The room was not properly cleaned, and basic hygiene standards were not maintained. Additionally, I ordered chicken tikka, which was half-cooked and unacceptable. Overall, the experience was pathetic, and I would rate it as one of the worst stays due to poor cleanliness and food quality.

I am currently staying at Ginger Hotel, and I would like to raise a serious concern regarding the bed provided in my room.
The bed is extremely uncomfortable and has caused continuous discomfort, making it difficult to get proper rest. I have already informed the hotel staff multiple times about this issue, but unfortunately, no effective action has been taken so far. It feels like my concern is not being taken seriously.
As a guest, I expect basic comfort and prompt resolution of such issues. I request you to please look into this matter urgently and either replace the mattress or provide an alternative room with a comfortable bed.
1) There is only one receptionist available, who is also handling housekeeping-related work. This creates delays and confusion, and the front desk is often unattended.
2) The housekeeping staff is engaged in tasks like carrying luggage from the car, which ideally should be handled by designated support staff. This affects room service and cleanliness timelines.
3) The receptionist is unable to clearly understand or address guest issues, even after explaining the problem multiple times.
4) There appears to be a shortage of trained staff, leading to poor coordination between reception and housekeeping teams.
5) Response time to guest complaints is very slow, and follow-ups are not proactive.
Overall, there is a lack of clear communication and ownership, which makes guests feel unheard and unsupported.

My experience at this hotel was very poor, mainly due to the unprofessional behavior of the management staff. The staff was rude, uncooperative, and showed no interest in resolving issues. Basic hospitality and customer service were completely lacking.
The room cleanliness was below standard, and several promised amenities were either missing or not functioning. When these concerns were raised, the response from management was careless and dismissive.
Overall, the hotel failed to meet even basic expectations. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, professionalism, or value for money.

I had Idli Sambhar in breakfast in which Idli was too Hard and sambhar is dark in colour and watery. I feel it is made with frozen material by adding water… No taste at all.

I will give just 1 star. I recently stayed for on night with my handicap son and asked for a plastic stool or a plastic chair so he can take bath. But it was not available. While booking I have mentioned this problem and requested receptionist to provide this but it was not done. He can’t stand and take bath, but they could not provide. So the hotel is not handicapped friendly. Be aware of this before booking.
