Accommodation 5/5 : The first impression was, jaw-dropping. Every person in our group was excited, as it was first time experience in staying at kutchi Bhunga (traditional circular hut/house in kutch) for all of us. Just roaming around the campus of this place was peaceful. You can hear Silence at this place, it was that peaceful for us! We got 5 bed, large neat and clean Bhunga…adjacent to it was a spacious bathroom with all the amenities, and 24/7 running water. Room looked smaller from outside but the inside bhunga was pretty big. The campus has tent + Bhunga, and a canteen-like serving place a wide-open area to spend your time with family in the evening. After dinner, we gathered at a central open place near a large tree to watch traditional Kutchi folk singing near bonfire, it was so soothing to have this entertaining experience in desert cold, under the starry night. Hospitality: The owner Salambhai is great host. The staff was very kind and courteous, ready to help, and attended to our every smallest of requests. Location: Its community-based village resort near remote village of Hodka. The place is 17 kms (20 mins by car) away from white rann-Rannotsav campus on the Bhuj — White Rann road. The resort is on the main road. If you are traveling from Bhuj, this will come 17 kms before Rannutav, Dhordo location. The place is just next to the entrance of Hodka village. Few people in our group wanted to go for Friday prayer.
I came here with my husband. Planning to visit again with our family. It was a beautiful place. Staff was extremely polite and mannered. We had a lovely time here.
