Whataaa Place! It's banked beside a lake that's the only upsetting point with it. If this would have been on a beach front view, paradise! Staff is a little strict in a manner that they follow rules quiet seriously. Otherwise, all-in-all this was a good stay. If you're going as a couple, opt for Villa style rooms, they are very spacious and luxurious.

Very bad experience from Rio. We are repeated customer of Rio. But this time very bad experience. No food and liquor outside so pay higher charge. Room bar is on request so it's not like 5 stars. All responsibility is at last go to owner by service department. Pls all rule read very carefully before book the hotel. For good hospitality I do not recommended So please read more carefully before book.

Excellent resort. Staff are helpful. Room was specious, clean and well maintained. They have nice big swimming pools. Food was very tasty. It is a luxury resort in north Goa. Location is good and short distance to Baga beach.

Resort Rio is the best 5* resort in Goa, What an start, when we entered in the lobby we were greeted by the resort staff and escorted at reception. Welcome drink and cold towel was offered upon check in. Check in was very smooth. I was escorted to my room by front office staff and explained the resort facilities. The room was stunning, it was very specious and welcoming. I had a great fun at Resort Rio and Ofcouse I will visit soon. I have already recommended Resort Rio to my family and friends…

Resort Rio delivers comfort, luxury and essays tranquility in its fold. It has a unique and eye catchy decor that soothes and reassures the guests, the Zaara Spa that rejuvenates and pampers you up completely. Very chivalrous staff we experienced royalty all through our stay, I must say this has been the most wonderful and memorable stay!

Had a awesome stay in Resort Rio for Himalaya conference. The overall staff is very helpful. The USP of the property is big and spacious rooms. Bathtub in all the rooms. 2 giant and beautiful swimming pools. State of the art conference facilities. This Resort is suitable for MICE events.

I had stayed with resort rio with my family and immediate friends. We had a fantastic stay overall. Good food and excellent pool facilities. Hotel also provides free shuttle services to Baga beach as well at specific timings. Overall good hotel and nice staff.

We had an amazing stay here. The room was super spacious with great decors. Loved the bath tub. Cosy comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. Loved their hospitality. The room opened to a huge terrace space where you can chill during the night. The swimming pool was clean.

Five Star deluxe property with 3 premium restaurants providing fine dining experience along with 2 bars and banquet facilities. Variety of rooms including villas. Located on the bank of river the property offers excellent views. Swimming pool is also well maintained. Not mentioning the well maintained flora and fauna would be a sin. Only concern can be the distance for beach, if you are in Goa to enjoy serenity purely, you don't have any other place to go.

Overall good. Pros: Rooms are specious, neatly maintained and clean. Bathroom had a bath tub. Valet parking available. Staff is courteous and professional. Proximity to local market and happening area. Cons: Resort has limited area and is about 3 kms from Baga beach. Expensive compared to the price paid.

Good place at good location! Though the quality of staff is not complimenting the overall appeal of the hotel. It has everything to relish one's taste buds.

Hotel and the ground it is in is kept immaculate. Room cleaned every day. Facilities in room fantastic. Wish I could take the shower room home with me. Bit out of the way. Staff cannot do enough for you. If not staying all inclusive the food is very expensive compared to outside. Excellent hotel.

Wonderful place to stay… Although away from beach and not easy to walk down to the beach… Resort is beautiful and well maintained. For us average especially buffet.

Amazing place and services. Staff is nice too. Clayton Fernandes is amazing gentleman. Who brought us yummy food time to time. He took care of our comfort and luxury. Suggested amazing local places and local food to die for. Overall amazing experience at pool by the bar.

Immaculate accommodation and excellent food. Very good for vegetarian food as well in all their restaurants. They have a separate restaurant catering for vegetarian only. Facilities include two swimming pool, gym, sauna and various massage. Rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel has large gardens, relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff and management. Free shuttle to Baga beach 4 times a day.

The resort was very good. Very beautifully located and ambience was very god. I loved the bar adjacent to swimming pool. Overall a good resort and would recommend to couples and families also.

Had a mixed experience here. It all depends on what kind of room you book here. If you get one of the luxury rooms, impeccable service and spacious rooms guaranteed. If it's one of the Superior rooms, then get ready for a barrage of issues. AC with weird noise, Door keys not working (had to wait outside the room and cal reception multiple times), 2 single beds adjoined instead of master bed and no balcony. Resort on a whole is well maintained and plus points for the service facilities people. But they are not able to cope up with incoming tourists requests and concerns. Minus points for that.

Excellent place for a Holiday in North of Goa located near all popular beaches. The place offers Rooms, suites and villas for you to choose from. Well maintained property with a large pool and beautiful views. Very friendly and courteous staff to take care of all your need a and make your staff comfortable. Special arrangements were made during Christmas next to look with good food and drinks. Nice bar and choice of food in restaurants. We had a great time, highly recommended for family, friends and corporate gatherings.

One of the most magical, most beautiful resorts I have ever been to! Many restaurants with delicious food and amazing hospitality. Definitely worth it.

Positive side- 1) Rooms are too good 2) staffs behaviour is very helping 3) cleanness around all resort 4) food is delicious 5) taxi services is just 10m 6) service support is very fast and good they know how to make their customer happy… go for it.

Poor hospitality. Room ambienec just average. Had no proper place to keep luggage. Had to put it on sofas. We had a cockroach in our room. Room placement did not allow to open any curtains as they opened up directly road side. Almost everything we asked for was a NO, even a cappuccino was not served on ordering. Not worth spending. U may get better options in this price nearby.

It’s a 5 Star Hotel with an excellent staff, amenities. Totally loved the stay here, No regrets here. I saw videos in YouTube, had less expectations but totally thrilled the stay.

A nice property in Arpora, with wonderful ambience and decor. The rooms are spacious. Service can be improved as I found a few loopholes here and there. I had my breakfast lunch mostly at their restaurant Mango Pickle. The food was majorly average but the service staff is courteous.

So this experience of ours was one of the most horrible experience with a hotel… The first day of our stay we ask for an extra bedding before going out for dinner and when we come back it’s not in our room, we call them many times and after an hour of waiting late at night we get a mattress on the floor which is for ₹2500. The next day we it was raining badly and we had to walk out for dinner. As understood, a hotel always provides us with umbrellas when it’s raining to go outside but they refused to give us the umbrellas and said that we are only allowed to use them in the boundaries of the property. Despite having small kids with us, they refused to give us the umbrella. On our final day we had a flight at 5pm and we had to leave the hotel at 3pm. Our luggage had gone at 12 noon at the reception. We had taken 4 rooms as we were a group of 12 people. We were just given one room for all of us to wait in and we were getting frantic calls starting at 12noon in intervals of 15 mins asking if our luggage had gone down. When we reached down, they denied the fact that they called and to top it all up they were arguing with us and being rude to us… To finish all of this at the end I would say that even trip advisor is taking money from them and all the comments are bought because we tried to post this on trip advisor but it never got posted. We are getting frantic calls from the hotel telling us to remove our comments… please do not stay with them.

Well, we love to travel and have stayed with lots of different resorts and hotels. But the experience with Resort Rio has been extraordinary… even a guest house has better hospitality than THE RIO RESORT, honestly my Goa plans are on hold for few years now. The very first view on entering the resort is of the clothes hanging on the balconies from different rooms The request for an extra bedding we were provided with a mattress on the floor and that too took them almost 3 hours The towels were not changed for 4 days and the hand towels were never replenished We had to walk to a restaurant which was just 200 mtrs from the Hotel and we had small children with us and it was pouring heavily, so we requested the front desk for some umbrellas, which was flatly refused Honestly don’t know how they are surviving? Put together, would never stay with them ever again.

If anyone want a very luxurious hotel in Goa then go for Resort Rio. Well decorated and furnished, natural climate. Don's doubt about foods, good choices of foods are available in the Resort Restaurants. Rooms are extremely attractive.

The food was amazing, the restaurant looks amazing. Staff very friendly and helpful, and we're excellent at explaining the dishes and the history of them. Good place to visit with friends.

Great service, especially at the Reception desk! The hotel rooms were fantastic and so was the bar and pool restaurant. They also have a shuttle that goes to the beach about 4 times a day which was very useful.

Have a very pleasant stay. Our family had a very memorable time. Excellent team handling this place. A special thanks to Durgesh who made sure to make us comfortable all the way. Shall look forward to coming back here very soon!

A very good hotel in all aspects. Large room, quality fittings throughout, very comfortable. We had breakfast for three days and it was excellent. The service of Mr. Ajay in the restaurant Pickled Mango is awesome and hotel was faultless. Only one suggestion — Airport drop cabs should be good enough for what we are paying.

Accommodation in this hotel will be fun, but far from the sea.

A lot of Hindus who are wildly noisy at night, and the noise isolation of the rooms is bad.

The condos blowing right into the center of the room, all getting sick.
Prices in the bar horse.
Very far from the sea: 6 km to Anjuna (I do not take the garbage beach).
The room was very buggy.

Hotel for Indians. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are less decent. The hotel is in a great location and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Don't waste your money on this place.

Location is good but it doesnot have a private beach. We were made to stay in the new wing. Everything you ask for comes from the old wing so it takes a lot of time. Rooms were big but lacked certain amenities. Bathroom didnot have hairdryer or small towels etc. They only provide with two 500ml of water bottles everyday. If you want more, then you have to call them up requesting for more. Service is poor. Requires more trained and dedicated staff. If you order from Room Service, they take forever to get your food. Taste was quite decent but could be better. The only positive I can think of is the size of the room.

To, Resort Managment. first plz pick up phone calls… or update ur information… your reservation manager n alt. Reservation call no. Is not working or may be not pick up calls… it seems you people r not interested in hotel customers… thanks…

Good Ambience and Great Food!

Good service. Nice rooms. Crowd can get little loud sometimes. But over all a decent place. Its a 10 minute walk from the main road.

Had a really vry gr8 time! :) enjoyed vry much. Gud staff and service. Enjoyed different themed nights n specially d food n pool! gud memories;).

I enjoyed very much with my family. The resort staff is also very good. The resort is having very open space so that we can enjoy more. And the point of food is that the resort is having pure veg and jain food with seprate kitchen with very good taste like our home.
