Had come for 3 nights, 4 days. Had a great time. The location is amazing! Best part is the private beach. The food was great, a treat for the tongue! Spa was a bit costly. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. The AC was not working though. All in all 4/5.

Very nice ambience. There is a lake/river next to the hotel which makes it more pleasant. The rooms were clean and the hotel has a restaurant too. I visited this place in the month of July and during off season time. Less disturbance. Hotel staff was pleasant and cooperative.

This hotel has been twice. Good hotel, clean rooms, well-groomed grounds. Service personnel are workers. They're like ants doing something all day. The hotel is not cheap, so there is no way to visit it again. There are many areas where you can eat, drink coffee, bar. There is a good gym, billiards, library. At the time of our visit, twice a week held concerts and accordingly dinner not in a restaurant, and in a clearing. Karaoke. There's a lot of things. Beautiful, well-groomed pool, palm grove with hammocks, security at the entrance and exit. Towels on the beach or to the pool give out. The beach is urban. Cleaning the room every day. It's all clean. Very cozy. A very rich and varied menu. And everyone's smiling!

I have visited this property in January, and it's turned out to be fabulous. The Restaurants have a variety to offer. The myth that 5 star hotels never offer good taste ends here, I was having my dinner at kebabs and curries and it was awesome. Rooms are renovated and the property is very spacious. The New General manager has really really played his magic here! I am visiting again with my family in July. Can recommend this place for weddings and leisure. Not for single business trip.

Awesome place to be, great hospitality, lovely n awesome staff. Clean n safe pool n beach too. Everything perfect. Beach is very peaceful, very less crowded. Chef go beyond menu and serve you food as per your need. Entire staff is best. Though room service is bit slower. Strange part is cycling n game activities are paid, which is very unlikely for such kind of room charges.

Went for the Old Delhi street food festival. Surprised to be the only occupied table in the restaurant for dinner. Food was nice but not great. The Mutton Biryani unfortunately was nowhere near the real thing. On the whole, we came out more disappointed than satisfied overall with the lack of ambience and food that didn't seem authentic in taste, though the service was up to the mark. However, it must be said that the earlier Greek food festival was great as they had a real Greek Chef who ensured that the food was both, authentic and delicious.

The rooms were spacious, the staff was very friendly. It was lovely staying in the hotel. The service was prompt. Lot of space for the kids to play. There was a park for the small kids. The big kids had a kids zone area where they enjoyed. Over all it was worth going to the hotel. Looking forward to going back for our next holidays. All the best guys working out there. Keep the same std.

Great location, nice rooms and amenities. Staff is cordial but room service is a bit slack. Next to beach so all you do is walk a few steps and you are on to a clean beach. Since it's a 5 star property, food and services cost on higher side. But overall it's a value for money.

We had actually been to Greco the authentic Greek restaurant. Since it was beginning of May there was no outside seating and service available. The indoor seating is nice with blue/azure and white theme. The ambiance is okay. Ordered Chicken Gyro and Baklava, we were presented with a complimentary bread basket and chefs special Veg pockets while we waited for the order. The wait was long considering there was only one more table seated other than us. The Gyro was excellent. The Baklava was stale, seemed reheated in microwave since the pastry had gone soggy and chewy. Our server was very nice and friendly.

Great place to stay. The hotel ambience is fantastic. The rooms are very special. It feels like you are living in a Villa. The staff is courteous and helpful. The food is also great.

We've been here for 5 days. Service is salient. Breakfast for every thing, very plentiful and freshly prepared. The beach is also commendable. Conclusion everything perfect. Thanks to the whole Novotel team.

We had a memorable time during our stay here. The hotel property is huge. It has a private beach which is very clean, has white and soft sand and clear water. The whole hotel premises is clean and well maintained. The rooms are nice, food is great and staff is very friendly and courteous. Will surely visit this place again!

Stay was very comfortable. Staff well trained and cordial. Breakfast was great. Only goanese menu was good. Overall a nice and comfortable stay. Vicinity to the beach is very convenient. Swimming pool was good.

This is a very good property located just near the beach at a walkable distance of maximum 2-5 minutes. I stayed here for 3 days with my family and the stay was really good. The breakfast and the lunch buffet had both English and Indian options. A large swimming pool is there inside the property which attracts you to go and stay inside. The cocktails and mocktails are an add on while swimming in the pool. I would have given half a star more but the option is not still available since they allowed me to stay 2 hours extra when I said that I wanted to sleep a little more since my return was a little late. Lastly the minus points which made me cut the last star were the expectations that were there from my other hotel visits. I expected a bath tub in the bathroom in such a luxurious hotel, a pair of bathroom slippers would have been good as well and last but not the least they could have offered beach towels as well along with the bathroom and pool towels. Also there was a corporate party of 2-3 days during my visit here and there group was creating nuisance in many places, the hotel should take care of corporate groups and keep them secluded from normal visitors so that everyone can enjoy there personal space. Overall its worth a visit here and I would always love to come back and stay.

It was my third visit at the resort. The rooms are good and the beach is clean and close by. It is a perfect place for leisure time and sun bathing. The food was average but since I was in a big group, our food was separate from the others. It is also a bit too far from North Goa.

This resort has one of the most cooperative staffs. The property is picturesque and a very attractive pool. The vegetarian food preparation needs improvement as the taste is generally average. Buffet menu has a lot of options available for guests. The beach access is very close to the property and has a super store just opposite to the resort. The water sports options are also very close to the resort. Advance booking is advised.

Amazing place. Nice ambience, lovely pool, more of foreign tourists. Now clubbed with Raddison blue and taken over by Novotel. The bar is really nice. Lovely old nos with live singing. Beach front. Nice rooms. Food is excellent. Good for a relaxed stay for three nights.

Awesome hotel. Food is fantastic. I haven't stayed there so don't know about rooms quality and tariff. I was there to attend the training of nullcon. Food quality is very good and lots of variety. Taste is also very good. Environment inside is awesome.

Amazing place! Gonna miss it a lot It's a really good place with good food, amazing ambience and friendly staff. They should work on the service speed though. And the rates too. The beach is very clean and beautiful! This place has everything you would ever want in a seaside hotel. Would totally recommend it! It offers really amazing memories and experiences I really have no words to say on how much I've enjoyed in this place. Best. Place. Ever.

Great place. Has a Greek like feel to it with Cavelossim beach connecting directly from inside the resort. Also there are other good places nearby to eat outside. There's also Mobor beach which is just 2Km away. All in All — one of my favorite places in South Goa to stay in. Little bit expensive but worth the money!

Great Place all inclusive. Rum is just super! The beach is clean. The food is varied.

Very green and clean grounds, good service, just enough.
Great beach with gentle access to the water, lifeguards are on duty all day.
There is a allinclusive, you can eat in Shack'ah (Beach cafes).
There are many shops on the street in front of the main entrance.

Great beach resort in South Goa. The private beach is large enough and clean. The resort pool is good and big enough to play games. The restaurant and buffet are expansive enough with Indian and foreign cuisines. The live counters are specially delectable. Just outside the resort there are enough shops for daily necessities as well as bike/ car rentals.

I had a wonderful experience at this resort. It had an access to the beach which was more like a private beach with mostly resident guests using the beach. They were renovating at the time but still it was a well maintained property and an awesome pool. The staff were courteous and payed special attention to my little girl and offered her some juice as she was not eating properly. There is live music during dinner and games and activities for kids. Something different each day. The cottages were really nice and oozed luxury with beautiful gardens and clean surroundings. The breakfast buffet was awesome and the coffee memorable. The only complaint is they were really slow to respond to complaints. The TV in our room was damaged but we hadn't complained. Overall value for money.

Possibly best place in GOA to get married. We got married here, and we received great support from the staff. They were very helpful, polite and curious. They never said no for anything we wanted to do, and always had a smile on their faces. Food is simply too good. Special thanks to the master Chef who created the menu based on our choice and taste. We had a great time here, and so did the 150+ guests who came to our wedding. Great job guys, and keep up the good work.

Beautiful, green well-kept area, one pool is not the cleanest, and the pool area has long needs renovation. To the beach 7 min on territory of hotel. It is quite pleasant to walk on Tenechku. The hotel is all inclusive, so we chose it, very scary with a child to eat in a café on the street.
The beach is urban. But very clean, cleaned every day. On the beach all day wandering merchants and pestering you to buy something.
Extra beds Fee, and refer to the café on the beach, if you buy anything, then lie free. But the beds are in a very poor condition. We never went down on them.
The territory of Cavelossim beach is wide, white sand, just a delight, especially to walk evening, to see sunsets, several times in the evening sailed dolphins.
The sea is beautiful, great entry, deep gradually and not long, what you need.
Food was decent, drinks are bottled water, coca, beer, etc.
When you walk out of the hotel, you can go shopping. Everything is within walking distance, which is very convenient.

An amazing and beautiful property in Goa… Serene, calm with lush green outdoors, clean pool, amazing food and private beach… What can you ask for more after all this? A perfect place to spend your holidays and to take out time for yourself and family!

5 star hotel with cottage type of residence. Night bar open upto 11pm. Swimming pool is very nice with constant watch by life guard and available upto 8pm. Foods are really delicious and healthy. Environment is quite. Live band and DJ are available sometimes. Sea view is awesome. Room service is good.

Their staff is one of the best I've seen in my life! Catered up to everything we requested and on time (including a cake in the evening for a birthday party, which they bought from outside). Resort itself is very good for both friends and families. You can surely have a nice time enjoying your holidays and never getting bored of all the facilities they offer.

If you r looking for neat beaches only, a great place to be in, but far from normal life… staff of dona sylvia is great, very helpful… food little issue as it taste little locally with garlic… this place has only beaches, no other activity … overall rating 4…

It was a big company in December 2016. Everything is in step availability. The territory is very clean. I mean, the Crows yell loudly in the morning and Gadjat. But it's little things. You can get used to the kitchen in a couple days and always choose what to eat. The sea is clean, on the first line. It's India, not nice, and that's why we have to take it all up. We want to go to the same hotel again this year, closer to winter. The rains end, the weather is wonderful. I recommend that there is not much to be disappointed.

A good place to relax. Dona Sylvia is one of the best properties I ever visited. It's private beach, big swimming pool, musical shows at night with dinner and cocktail. This place is full of foreigner crowd. Hotel staffs are very customer friendly and they take care of every aspects.

All hygiene factors for a three star resort, good pool, games, food spread and services, beach. But wow was missing.

Dona Sylvia was my first choice while select a face for a family holiday this summer. The reason to select this property was a prior experience during our official trip in 2013. This year, while planned for a family holiday I was very sure that we are going to a special prosperity. The happiness didn't last long. When I checked in with my family I was stuck with a confusion at the reception which was man'd by 2 people. I was happy to get keys and happily heading to rooms while my family was sitting at the open restaurant. My dissonance starts when I say the rooms which need major update: — basic washroom, louse bed to name few. I am still surprised why they don't have Air-conditioned restaurant along with the open one. The understanding says, people do visit during off season so they should have the provision for the same. Don't be afraid if you find cats and dogs moving around you in search of food! In the end I would sincerely like to convert it to the management of the resort to please take care of the please and make sure you update the basics. For example : — redo all the room, room needs to have fragrance, bathroom need to have "JETTY" & little modern look and feel. The staff also need a regular training. Stayed June 2015

I went there on 29 Apr 2016 and Ioved that resort a lot I checked out from there on 4 may very good resort and one more thing I loved that magic at the dinner time.

A Tropical getaway that you certainly want. Dona Sylvia is an absolute breathtaking-Luxurious resort with an awe inspiring location. I have been there twice both in October 2004 and 2014. A place and time you'll remember for the rest of your life.

The villas in Dona Sylvia beach resort are magnificernt. Visiting the resort with the extended family is really fun as it is kid friendly with a central pool and easy access to Cavelossim Beach with shallow waters. Adventure sports are accessible close by. It is also conveniently located close to cruises on rivel Sal. The food at the resturant is amazing. 5 Stars for the Ambiance, Decor, Accessibility to Beach, and Family fun.

Great hotel. Very well located with a shopping complex and business conference room right opposite. The personal beach they have is amazing and less populated which is something I love. Kind of affordable and near an amazi g restaurant fishermans warf. Rooms are great. Staff very courtious.

A beautiful and reasonable resort. Very good and authentic food with lot of choice for vegetarians. Staff is very polite and helpful. Only problem is that it is located at almost the end of south Goa. But good taxi service is there and also you have nice market around it to spend late evening time. Pool, Beach, Food, Lawns, clubhouse and evening shows everything was good. We really enjoy our stay there.

Excellent kitchen with excellentem Management (Tare, Aditya, Ratsu) and excellent Service (Ms Ashra, Benny, Rajesh). Rooms may occasionally be overtaken. System supported pool management useless. Pool is still clean. We were the last 6 years 45 weeks in the Hotel, very satisfied and will come back.

If you are tired of hustle and bustle of your busy life then this the best place to relax and unwind yourself in serene place. I have the best of my memories in this resort. Always want to be here.
