Very poor type rooms. Rent not good better than others villa.

Exorbitant pricing of food items and any services being provided in the resort. We had a ridiculous experience of being asked to pay 160 rupees each for requesting drinks glasses through room service. On questioning the legality and the logic behind this charge we were given a monotonous reply by the staff that it is only as per their set rules. And yes those glasses have to be returned back to them even after you have probably paid a charge more than the cost of the glass 😂

I am talking about their restaurant Agnee. I went there for day out with wife. We had to order breakfast on our own inspite of having a NearBy day out voucher worth Rs 1700 for being just 10-15 mins late. Very uncooperative stuff. Worst ambience. There is nothing except the pool. There is no centralized ac in the lounge area for day out. Too much uneasy except winters for day out. Unnecessary restrictions in certain areas. Cost of food is too much. Inadequate food items for buffet compare to other 2-3 star restaurants in Kolkata. Very much disappointed😞. This was my first and last visit there for day out. Total waste of money. Instead of going there you can plan much better and accessible areas in Kolkata. Not recommended place.

Starting from the beginning❤️, that day was my husband’s birthday🎂, From whatever I started planning I liked this place first❤️☘️beautiful atmosphere ☘️ We stayed at the Lake View Villa❤️wow what a villa best view best room included bathroom ❤️❤️Needless to say we had a blast oh my god what a beautiful memories 🥰❤️i can’t express also they decorate my room for birthday surprise which I love the most ❤️🥰 (charges included). We r playing many games also enjoy the pool too ❤️ We will definitely go again🫶🏻📸❤️ thank you.

I'm a guest in your resort on 13.8.2022 and is very much surprised to hear that you charge Rs 125/ — per glass as rental. Rental for drinking water glass? Are you kidding?

Beautiful hotel for a weekend stay. Specially for someone who wants to have peace of mind and wants to mute themselves from the buzzing city life. We stayed in mud villa. Amazing room with huge bathroom and a cute mini balcony. The amenities are pretty thoughtful. You get your comp tea coffee sachets and water. Mini fridge to store something small. Iron board you get upon request. They Provide all toiletries and bath robe like any other five star hotels. Their staff are very polite and helpful and always helping with a smile. Special shout out to Mohamed Saijul from concierge, Piu from activity counter and Maneja, Rina from Spa and the cleaner who came to assist with bedding forgot his name. They will try their best to assist you with smile. Only tip :-One should go for breakfast early to enjoy the meal. If you go late around 9:30am it’s a mess. Half of the buffet will be empty and refills take lot of time. But the selection of dishes and quality of dish is amazing. Loved their Live counters eggs and dosa and tea. Suggestion donuts need to relook. Quality was not upto the mark compared with rest of the dessert on buffet. Swimming pool is nice. Their Spa is great to try. Tried their Abhyangam session which was beautifully done my Rina. Overall a beautiful weekend for me and my family. Will surely comeback and refer to friends and family.

We checked in 2day to celebrate my husbands b’day tomorrow however having horrible experience. They are unable to manage as it’s over booked hence the service we r getting is pathetic. 1stly they made us wait to check in to our bunglow for an hour due to less vehicle & then the bell boy forgot to bring all the room keys & then I literally had to fight for food for the senior citizens accompanying me as both Bhumi & Agni were not available for various reasons. Upon complaining to manager he arranged a place to sit however we r still waiting for our food. Utterly disappointed with the service & will never visit again. There are multiple better options in the range where you get much better service. Won’t recommend this place to anyone specially during weekend!

Poorly Maintained Property as per the rates they charge. Only the front swimming pool is well maintained and was disappointed with the flavour of Ilish biriyani that’s also 5 star price. Maximum utensils in Bhoomi restaurant are broken and surprisingly they are serving food in the broken utensils only.
Quite happy with Agnee Restaurant. Dishes were yummy. Staffs of Agnee were very good and helpful.

Perfect place for Staycation. Amazingly surrounded by nature.

Worst Experience. Staffs are not good. They used to use guests personal stuff and their manager argue with guests after complaining to them. Rooms cleaning and hospitality not up to the mark.

Amazing Rooftop Swimming Pool, luxurious place, quality ambience!

I along with my husband went to Vedic village. Bathroom was not clean. And the rate of food items, our experience tells, was higher than a 5 star hotel. There's no awareness of Covid19, let alone use of mask. While returning I accidentally left the charger of my iPhone for which I called the authority more than 7/8 times but in vain. I listened to various opinions from various people and came to understand that accidentally left belongings of guests are stolen, or, taken away and could not be recovered, I assured you 100% percent.

Disgusting staff and manager behaviour … they start irritating you right away you enter the property with all baseless, silly and new rules & regulations… had a visit yesterday and at the time of check in managers and staff are not allowing outside beverages nd asking the guest and us to buy the drink from them that too at higher price … disgusating and disrespectful behaviour from the team towards their regular guests…

Hygienic, calm n refreshing with warm reception. Delicious food. Being an Event Organiser will love to do Events here and Promote Vedic more to my 33 Corporate Clients nd over 300 Models all over India.

Unadultered nature and ultimate peace. Best part, while you dive into a dreamy sleep with fireflies around you, the next morning you open your eyes chirping of birds and open your eyes to fresh flowers and fluttering butterflies. Well maintained properties, state of the art spa with trained professionals and 24*7 assistance … not to forget the awesome breakfast spread with kulhad wali chai … loved each and every second of my weekend stay.

Amazing place. You can take your group of friends or family out there. Numerous bungalows with different facilities. Restaurants included inside the zone. Swimming pool on the terrace. One pay gives you access to a marvellous bungalow for next 24 hours. You get all kitchen essentials just in case you want to cook your own food. You can find a dhaba just towards left after getting out of Vedic. To your more left you also find a liquor store. These shops generally close by 10pm. Music systems are not allowed so get it very safely as they check things at the entrance. Rent — around 8-10k. So just pack your bags. Get into the car. And drive straight to Vedic Village.

Commenting About Aqua Homes 41/9 The property is a good looking property, but needs some serious maintenance. The rooms smell smudgy, the Toilets don't provide a basic Hand soap, towel. The swimming pool has lots of popping out Tiles in the floor, due to which two of our mates got injured. The bed sheets where not neatly done. It was fun to have a private pool party with friends in weekend. But sometimes you expect certain core benefits and if found missing then you get really disappointed.

Nice place to visit/stay with friends and family. Lots of greenery will soothe your eyes. Well decorated reception area will welcome you. You can reach by own car or rented cab. Free open parking is available. Not sure if this is usual, but it took 4 hrs. For us to check-in. They compensate that by allowing extra time for check-out. Do carry photo identity card for each adult member of group. Breakfast is complementary if you book room. Rooms are costly as this is a 5 star resort. Food is not extraordinary. Swimming pool is large, clean and nicely maintained. Do carry swimming costume else you have to buy it from resort store. Ladies with long hair should also carry/buy swimming cap. They have games room with lots of fun games for both adults and children. Overall it was a nice experience for us!

While making your bookings got to be just a bit careful as they have different categories of rooms, and not necessarily, the most expensive is the best. Beautiful, relaxing and peaceful place. Surrounded by greenery. The only hitch are the mosquitoes. Room is provided with mosquito repellent, hence, not much trouble in the room. But sitting outside after dark was difficult because of the mosquitoes. There is a lot of greenery and beautiful colorful flowers, but the trees and plants looked very dusty. May be if there is a system of sprinkling water on them daily or alternate days will make the resort look sparkling and naturally beautiful. A good breakfast spread, the food delicious, the staff quite warm and welcoming, although some of them still need some more training. The best time to be here is the winters. Lots of other activities like bowling alley, pool tables, and outdoor activities like kayaking, cycling, swimming etc. Although overall a good place once you are inside, the access to this resort is quite cumbersome and the roads leading to this resort are the worst.

Its a good place. The place consists of villas duplex and single rooms. I would suggest to go in a couple or group since the place is so large and security is tight everywhere. Anyways you can find wonderful swimming pool they provide costume and caps but they charge 600 bucks for a swimsuit and 150 bucks for cap. The kids too can enjoy the pool. They provide warm welcome and good service there. They are quite cooperative. Since the rooms are too far from reception area everytime one has to wait for a vehicle to come up and pick. It was really fun when found the villas touching the water body and visible from Windows. Some duplex had terrace gardening done. The place is full of fruit bearing and flowering trees. Its great place for photography.

The approach road from Kolkata New Town is not so good. Foods are overpriced. But the best place for a relaxed weekend outing. Better to include Breakfast and 2 meals while booking. You'll enjoy the yummy buffet breakfast. Staffs are highly courteous and supportive.

Had yet another wonderful time at this place. Thankyou to all the staff who went out of the way to make our stay a beautiful and memorable one. A La Carte food was awesome, the dinner buffet was not that great and hope it is better next time. A special thankyou to the lady taking care of guest at the swimming pool. She was ready with a towel in hand when I stepped out of the pool one of the days when the area around the pool was crowded with conference attending people. I forgot to ask her name but I believe she is a big asset to the place. She was the same during our stay last year too. Thankyou again to all the staff and Vedic Village keep it up!

Wonderful Resort out of the city and away from the hubbub. It's a place where you can go with friends and family. You may choose to stay the night or spend a whole day. It has all amenities. A place close to nature and easy to breathe. Nice resort to recreate and rejuvenate.

It is a very nice place to live in. People who think it's a village are definitely wrong. I feel it is a beautiful city. It's area is so big that you can't even imagine. You will need two days to roam around in whole. It has a spa resort and many living places. Bungalows can be booked. It has many facilities. You'll love it.

Beautiful resort. As the name The Vedic Village suggests, it is on the outskirts of Kolkata city, located in Rajarhat and far away from the hustle and bustle of city. This is a huge property and has the amenities of a 5 star hotel. The Resorts are beautifully designed. And the lake view adds to the charm. It has a sports complex ' V Den', convention centre ' Cerebrum', Vedic Temple, swimming pool, playground, restaurant, polo carts to pick & drop to your resort, Spa center. It can cater to national and international conferences if one is looking for the venue which can accommodate large crowd conveniently with all the facilities.

Good place to spend a quality day with family and friends. The number of games in the package is less but the delicious, sumptuous meals make the deal worthy. They provide a separate pool area depending on your package. It is better to carry your own nylon clothes, if you want to avail the pool. Otherwise you need to buy clothes from there which is not worth for the money that they charge. Girls are not allowed inside pool without swimming cap. Also, you can relax in jacuzzi after paying some amount if it is already not included in your package. I am not sure about the size/hygiene condition of jacuzzi as we didn't go for it. However, the swimming pool was really well maintained. And the height of the pool is less than 5 feet throughout. There are games like archery, foosball, billiards, bowling, etc. I would suggest to go in a large group so you can enjoy more.

Have been here to attend two different conference. It is difficult to reach here by public transport as it is on the outskirts of the Kolkata city. The place is beautiful and big. The management is good and the staffs are helpful. They have nice and well equipped conference rooms. The food quality is also good. The thing missing here is Vedic touch. Be aware of mosquito.

I came to this resort 2.5 years back and went back with good memories. But this time when I came with my family and was highly disappointed. There is height of cheapness which we don't expect to find in a so called 5* resort. TO start with:
1. Food was atrocious. They served stale food in breakfast. Even in lunch the dessert "baked rasagulla" was as if previous day rasogulla baked next day in lunch. Stuff Kulcha was stale. When we complained they did change but had we not complained then?
2. Quantity of food was very less. Sweet corn soup we ordered 1:2 the quantity was like few spoons for each and priced 195. Fried rice priced 245 was not enough for even 1 person. Thai curry priced 345 was again not enough for 1 person. We have been to many five star but never seen such kinda stuff. When you charge at least give fresh food and proper quantity.
3. Height of cheapness was when we asked kitchen if they can make banana milk shake for our 18 month kiddo and they replied "If you give ur banana and milk then we will charge ____ and if we give our stuff then we will charge ___. I m little protective for my kid and always prefer to carry homemade food for my kid. But we can't carry a mixie with us. I was surprised to hear such kinda answer. We have been to many hotels but never had this kinda experience.

Vedic Village is a nice place for weekend relaxation. The rooms are great, it is bit away from proper township. We rented a aqua home, which was good. However the maintenance can be improved. In short if one wants to get away from the city chaos Vedic village is a good place. It is advice able to go in groups.

A very decent place to visit, if you are tired of kolkata city traffic. Go here have fun with family. Indoor activities take place time to time in and they have other options also for relaxing and entertainment. Saturday and Sunday are very crowded as compared to other days. Hospitality is good and rooms service is also excellent as they have such a huge property to manage. One visit to this place is a must.

Went for the Stomp festival held there on 18th February 2018! Roads leading to Vedic Village is pitiful and can do a number on your back. Vedic Village itself is quite lush and beautiful, with lots of flowers & green… We just spent the day there and it was a pleasant experience. Nice weekend getaway option.

A beautiful resting and relaxing place for family and friends, close yet far friends the bustle of Kolkata. Beautiful sprawling green lawns and gardens, and playgrounds for children. We stayed in a villa. It was five star luxury with car park facility, 3 large double bedrooms, a large sitting cum dining space. A full duplex complex, with a small terrace garden, with lawn and a jacuzzi for relaxing.

The Vedic Village is quite an interesting place to spend a day. They give extra attention to each and every guests individual need. If you can find Rahaman the day you are visiting, have a word with him. He is a Gem and will take good care of you. God bless him.

The whole place is designed to make you feel isolated and away from the daily hustle and bustle. The rooms are clean are have all the basic amenities needed. I have been there thrice and will go again. Twice I have stayed in the studio rooms and once in the aqua villa. I absolutely love the place. It's secure, the employees are well behaved. And I love the breakfast spread. Take out one day, stay there for the night and come back rejuvenated.

A good place for a quick break. Quality of rooms vary — the Deluxe and Earth villas are pretty good. The time share villas are best avoided as they are pretty bare. Quality of service and food are average. The natural beauty and greenery compensate to an extent. Given the scarcity of weekend getaways around Kolkata, this property qualifies as a good option. Connectivity is not an issue anymore given the new routes that have opened up.

Excellent ambiance and serene surroundings. I was there with my family and friends for 3 days. The staff was vert helpful and attentive. The food was really good. A couple of things I would say if the rooms, buildings and many of the other structures are clearly showing signs of lack of maintenance. For example the glass roof panel on our washroom was cracked and very dirty. I would suggest the management to focus on the upkeep of the property.

Lovely place for a weekend outing. Good for 2-nighters too. Large complex, unlimited parking. Several facilities including a full-blown spa, swimming pool, archery facility etc. A lot of people have bungalows in the complex, some offering these for hire if you require for a medium size group. The approach road is based for small stretch but that is a minor inconvenience.

Went for "Day out" with great expectations in new year based on the publicity they are making. It is a worst kind of experience. There is nothing much to do within the package, just sit and observe the nature. The food was horrible and it was so dull that it could neither fill our stomach nor make you feel satisfied. Not recommended for day out trip for family or groups if you have to pay from your pocket; even if paid by somebody, any other alternatives will be better than this surely. If you already stay close to green environments, it would not offer you anything new.

The Vedic Village is a nice place to spend a warm picnic with friends and family. Though I stayed in Vila… I did visited to the resort (main club), the service there is good and the rooms are beautiful. The food is a bit expensive but worth the price. The gym is a bit small, but one can use it to burn some fat… very wisely. The swimming pool is quite big and gorgeous, yet closed for winter, but its a good place to have pool party at.

I had a really great experience at Vedic Village. We opted for an aqua home and it was so clean and large. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Since we went in a group, we enjoyed a lot. Otherwise, the indoor games facilities aren't available without extra charges. Which is a big thumb down. Anyway, u can still have fun.

I have been to Vedic Village couple of times in 2008 — 09 and loved my experience there. Went there after almost 10 years on 22nd and was appalled by the state of affairs in the property. There is no maintenance, the houses look shabby from outside, household waste scattered everywhere, no security, bunch of hooligans occupying a bungalow opposite us etc etc. The icing on the cake was a theft of 13000 rs from my sister in laws wallet while we were inside our bungalow. So imagine the level of security… I have been to other resorts across the world and have never experienced a place like this… I highly recommend not to visit Vedic village…

Simply Awesome! No words are sufficient to express this resort. Extremely great hospitality, pleasant place, well maintained, with all the amenities and activities suitable for family, kids and other groups. Everything was fantastic including our stay, tasty foods and well trained team who will assist all your needs pleasantly. Altogether it has been a great experience at The Vedic Village.

We went there on August and we had totally confusing time there. Since we visited the place for our leisure purpose, We were pretty disappointed. The worst day out in ages. Smelly water served, smelly glasses, pathetic service. Height was when they served us in a broken glass. Please never book there day out packages. They treat you like beggars, everyone is full of attitude and it seems we came there for free. I have been to Ibiza and other resorts and they need to learn a lot from them. We had such a horrific experience with the food there. We ordered Chinese and it was pathetic and so bland. So next time we ordered Indian and the food is obscenely overpriced compared to the taste and quantity. The pool was so dirty and the staff were not very helpful. Highly overrated. Not to recommend.

Went for a team outing here. Fabulous place to get away from the hustle and hustle of the city. Quite peaceful with ample space with all the amenities to kick back and enjoy your holidays. Perfect place for a quick getaway. Plenty of outdoor as well as indoor activities to enjoy. The staff was quite helpful too. All in all good place to rest and have a small holiday.

Amazing resort at the outskirts of Kolkata. Can barely believe about existence of such a priceless gem nicely nestled in rural settings. The campus us very well maintained, it's replete with plantations and we sat with open balcony — no sign of mosquitoes or insects. The campus extends across 100s of acres, amazing for a run or a walk. You just can't get enough of it. The management is courteous and polite.

I had heard a lot about the village. When I got invited to visit and stay overnight, I decided this was my day. The village is neatly 25 km or 1 hour away from Kolkata. The road is pretty good all the way. Vedic village was setup nearly two decades ago and appeared rather too far away. Now the city has expanded nearly up to the village. The village was planned as a place with village looks but with all modern amenities we can think of. The village looks, feels, breathes nature and uses natural light wherever possible. This is one place where you can try to listen silence. You get that experience, but rather in late hours. Vedic village is surrounded by normal habitats who provide the work force for the facility. They have dug up water bodies to be surrounded by duplex cottages. You get to see nature at its best when sitting in air conditioned comfort of your room. The wash rooms are big and well maintained. One of the best privilege is walk on the village roads. You feel breathing freshness. Its pure tonic for eyes, ears, nose, heart and hence mind. Being vegetarian, I can comments on that part only. The food is worth looking for and worth visiting for that only. Other guests had good comments for non vegetarian food. Its great place to enjoy nature or rest or to celebrate any event yet so near a city with 15 million people.

Has lost the charm it has created over the years. The property looks like it needs some major upkeep. From no lights in the swimming pool to utter darkness outside bunglows to extremely slow service at it's restaurant Vedic Village needs to do a lot if it still wants to maintain it's position as the go to place to relax.

Went to Vedic Village for a day and night on 1-2 October. Though the reception was teeming with a rush of tourists, the inside of the property was serene, probably because of its vast expanse. We had taken a duplex and found it very spacious and well maintained. Room service was also good. The food quality at their restaurants were good too though a tad expensive. The children enjoyed themselves thoroughly at the game zone, swimming pool and spa (free for boarders) as well as the nearby amusement park which once again bordered on being more expensive. Overall a very nice experience. Ideal retreat for a day or two with friends and family.

Excellent for weekend getaways, spacious villas with a private lawn and rooftop pool, perfect for 6-12 persons. Expect only college and weekend party crowd on non-holiday months of the year. Best if you bring your own food and booze. They have a decent kitchen if you want to cook.

1 of the most beautifully maintained property from every single countable aspect, from staffs to foods, services etc. Etc. just go and get refreshed. A must visit in Kolkata but at least spend 2 nights. My stay was Deluxe Villa (103) & it was mind blowing. By the way, returned just now…

First up, the route to Vedic village is under heavy repair at this time of the year. The place itself is immense with all the reasonable amenities available. The staff are friendly and ready to provide assistance whenever necessary. Although there are provisions for multiple pools and convention halls, only the primary one is accessible. If one can put up with that, I'd say the stay is a nice experience.

An upscale resort located around 10 kms from sector 5 salt lake. Good place to spend your weekend with families and friends. The resort is also popular for hosting corporate events. However the rooms are pretty average considering the price you need to pay.

Best ever place to chill! They provide a bunglow with a personal swimming pool. It has AC in all the rooms and attached washrooms to each room. The dinning room has a big oval dinning table, a sofa with a centre table, a refrigerator and television! A must visit place for everyone!

Apart from the excellent service and amenities, the security is praiseworthy. The reason is as follows: We had recently stayed in the resort to attend a wedding, and forgot some jewelry items in the locker provided in our suite. On returning home, we realized that the jewelry is missing. On contacting the resort, we were assured that the jewelry was in their safe custody, which was subsequently handed over to us. The entire process was hassle-free.

The property is huge. Good if you are using the villa for a small get together. Good place for conference and parties. However the hotel itself is just plain average.

Wonderful place. Very well maintained. Ideal for Corporate meetings, Weddings, Parties. Lots of options for recreation. But expensive. And too far from Kolkata.
