Pathetic place to be. Rude & unprofessional staff. No service. They charge huge which is not worth.

Nice club facility. Grub is good and the staff friendly.

There was some misunderstanding about an extra bed, but it was sorted out amicably.
Employees are very friendly and helpful.

I have been to so many restaurants but the service at K19 is the worst I have ever experienced
we had done a prior reservation, but we were nicely asked to wait for 30 mins. However when we didn't get a seat even after 1 hour, we found that they are letting people go & take seats even without reservation or randomly (maybe based on the personal relationship with the hotel stuffs)
After I challenged the manager we were finally given a place after 1 hour 30 mins.
3 tables were joined since we had a big group but the tables were never cleaned even after repeated requests.
So we went to fetch the plates & hey… there were no plates. Anyways after waiting for 5 mins we could manage a few plates & cutleries but then we didn't get any napkins. Finally when no one served us water as well, I started shouting & then we got everything — napkin, water bottles.
Even in the food section there was no pizza or beer / cold drinks as was in the menu. But we were charged the whole amount.
I had bought nearbuy deals hence me & my family had to endure this nightmare.
But I will strongly recommend everyone to avoid this restaurant going forward.

Rooftop smokestack is an awesome place. Music, smokey lights and finger licking snack. We have spent a good time with family and friends. I strongly recommend this place for Saturday night.

The manager misbehaved nd insulted us on our anniversary. He even did not give any Kind of acknowledgement from his side which took place on behalf of his management. We had to leave the hotel without dining. The security measures are very poor. They did not even scan our belongings nor checked us!. This five star hotel has a vey poor management and very ill mannered staff. Very disappointed would never visit nor recommend.

Right from the booking till end have bitter experience for the service's provided. Pathetic buffet dinner service. Floor manager was not available during the timing and so late refill of item that would awaited me and the other more than 30 minutes.

The ambience of the hotel is very good. Being rated as a three star hotel it has kept up to its expectation. The cafe needs some more dishes to spice up the experience if some one wants to wait or just meet up. For a cup of coffee. Rest the food is average. Will definitely visit again when required.

Radisson Kolkata is a Hotel that does not need any introduction. It's ambiance is cozy and serene, food is good enough to tickle your buds and variety is ample. I had been there for a conference an hence had a quick pick at its culinary spread. However its locational advantage gives it the crown of choice from the travelers. You have access to Gariahat, a famous local market that Bengalis take pride in. This place is well connected to the heart of the city and the famous E M Bypass that takes you straight to the Airport. The hotel is cool on your pocket and comes with a bouquet of services that you would love to enjoy while the hubbubs of the City of Joy thrills you completely.

Perfect location, very close to the heart of the city. About the hotel, its a great place to stay with superb service. The staff was very courteous, always smiling and lending a hand in every need. The concierge Mr. Debabrata was one fine individual, always trying his best in helping the guests out. The guards are all super fine, always greeting you with the biggest smiles you could find in Kolkata. All in all, it was a great place to stay with my family. The rooftop restaurant/Bar was an awesome experience during dinner time. About the room, it was super clean when we checked in, with all the necessary amenities provided, including Shaving Kit which I didn't even find in 5 stars of Bangkok. Housekeeping team did a fantastic job making up our room every day after we left to stroll around the city. The only flaw I'll talk about is the Breakfast spread, though the taste was great, but Radisson should consider servicing different items once a while. For 5 days we found the same food items on the buffet menu with the exception of one or two items maybe. But yes, the food taste was incredible, especially the south Indian cuisine. I would highly recommend Radisson Ballygunge Kolkata to anyone at any time. Will I return if you ask. Of course, I will.

It may look like a 5 Star but it's certainly not a one. The service part is lousy and food isn't exciting either. Rooms are smaller in size compared to a 5 star standard but they charge like as of a 5 star. Rooftop restaurant and bar is the best part of Radisson Ballygunge and the views from there is spectacular. I would have had a good experience if the service part was a bit faster, the people responsible a more attentive and they wouldn't have rated it 5 star which the hotel isn't. One more thing, the hotel is tough to locate as it's located on a street and people nearby aren't aware of it's presence.

Average experience. Let me start with the good thing first. That was the food. Real good in taste and in portion. Improvement areas are front desk efficiency, staff communication levels, readiness of room at the time of guest entry. At the time of check in I was told by the guest officer that my room has been upgraded and took some extra time also. But, finally there were some internal communication gap between two staff and they apologized to me and gave me a normal room. Such over promise and under delivery could have been avoided by just issuing me a room as per my booking. Secondly basic things like food menu and toiletries were missing in the room for which I had to follow up. So, I would sum it up as not value for money.

Very unorganised, K19 Dining is not of Radisson standards. Desserts, main course, bakery items are all arranged with non-vegetarians and egg-eaters in mind. There is hardly any dessert choice for strict vegetarians, a fact that I brought to the notice of the F& B. Thankfully, they did consider my request on the last day and served egg less pastry. I conducted a Training program in E-venue 2. The room was like a smelly cat, due to an old carpet used to cover the projector and laptop wires. The attendant kept disappearing, and this was inconveniencing me a lot. The guest room was nice and comfortable. Possibly the worst standards, overall, that a guest can expect in a Radisson Hotel. Avoid staying here. There are better places available.

Worst property I have ever been. Definitely will not be going again and will not let anyone in my circle to go to Radisson Kolkata which is so called 4 star property which is not at all even 3 stars worth. Bad food, poor service, house keeping staff doesn't even know how to talk to customers. It was my worst decision ever to take membership of this hotel. Please be aware and do not take membership of Park plaza or Radisson. Firstly they did not book our rooms for which we got vouchers when we bought membership, secondly all other vouchers are useless.

This hotel is a business hotel. Comfortable for 1 or 2 nights… Prefer to stay here if for a business trip… Well located in ballygunj. 10 min from Quest Mall. The only issue is that the hotel is located in a residential area. The higher category rooms are located at higher floors … The suite has small carpet area. Though partitioned into sitting and bedroom, bathtub and separate closet. Staff is courteous. Buddha in white (may be marble) in the lobby looks amazing. Food is good. Overall one will have a comfortable stay.

Location is 15 minutes walk from ballygunge rail station. Rooms are very good. Foods are also very good. Clean & clear environment. Hotel building is awesome. & The service is also good.

Very good hotel in a very calm & quite location. Neat and clean hotel. Quality of food is very good. One can reach very easily and very good local shops for Bengali Hand woven cotton. Local snacks like rolls, sweets, fries etc are available in plenty of outside shops. One can reach any location of Kolkata from here. Enjoy nearby Biral Temple. Ramkrishna Mission Institute of Culture is famous for spiritual heritage and various language courses. Nice stay in this hotel.

Awesome place. Earlier it was Park plaza. Now it's so nice! Food is of good quality. Fish items are better. Deserts have lots of options. Baked boondi is delicious and tastes awesome. Restrooms are neat and clean. Overall the big gathering place at ground floor is a beauty with a large Buddha's statue.

A decent place in Ballygunge. Proximity to many bazaars and shopping area. The good thing is having and early breakfast. It starts from 6.30 am and it is really helpful. The rooms are comfortable. But do not expect any view as surrounding is having abandoned buildings. Staff is courteous. The housekeeping is slow. The hotel is the old park plaza now in a new cover of Radisson. Overall a good place to stay.

Went for dinner at smokeshak, the roof top restaurant in raddison. Staff behaviour was very good. The ongoing ipl and the big screen arranged for watching matches live was a cherry at the top. Very good experience.

They do a little mess until 2330 but otherwise it's cozy.

The rechristened Radisson enjoys a locational advantage by being just next door to Gariahat, which is a BIG PLUS. The iconic Buddha statue is captivating. The rooms are of the standard one would expect from a business hotel. The breakfast spread is quite lavish. While I was allowed a complimentary extended check out (possibly because of the corporate account), one wishes that the general disposition of those at the reception desk in the night (when I had checked in) was warmer.

Staff are helpful and courteous but a little slow. Hopefully this has already been rectified. Located near Gariahat More and has tremendous potential.

It’s a poor five star hotel. Basic amenities provided by house keeping is missing. Food spread is limited compared to any Taj/ Oberoi experience. Can you imagine they don’t even provide an envelope for safe keeping of bill!

Improved a lot over the years so far as customer interaction is concerned. Business wise they are the first ones to lower interest rates of your deposits. Service is still not upto the level of certain private banks even if are a HNI client.

They have mildew in their AC system. It results in all the rooms smelling musty. This is not the reprieve from polluted Kolkatta that we desperately desired. After 3 room changes we gave up and took it. That room had mildew all over the shower though. They worked to fix it but their standards for 5 stars are far from that. It's pretty gross. Finally, the restaurant didn't have most of the items on the menu and the food was bland and well below even 3 stat hotel restaurants in India. There are other minor complaints but these are the major ones. The hotel look beautiful but the moment you scratch the surface it falls apart.

Not a bad place for staying or conferencing or a get together. We had the alumni get together for South Point High School (1977-79 batch) of around 90 heads and had a great time. I have been here before, and this time I thought the quality of food wasn’t as great as it used to be. However, staff and service doesn’t give you any negative experience.

Very comfy rooms and a rooftop swimming pool… what else do you need, good food? Indeed they have the best service and quality. The pastries are one thing I personally suggest you to have once you visit this place. The mattress used will make you fall asleep in just a couple of minutes and I don't know what else anyone would want after a visit to the city of joy, Kolkata. Hope you have a good time here and thanks me after you feel like you really had a great time here.

One of the best star rated property in the city particularly in south kolkata which is a shopping paradise particularly for ladies. Most of the friends from Bangladesh prefer to stay here for the location. You must book in advance online for better discounted rates. Room interior is good and aircondition work very well.

I stayed at park plaza Kolkata this week and it was a horrible experience. Firstly the room maintenance was extremely disappointing. The door for room number 423 was broken and so was the bathroom door. For room 403 the toilet fittings are broken. Additionally the restaurant staff especially the manager Shashwath Banerjee is extremely rude and inconsiderate of customers. The restaurant staff and the manager are argumentative and ill behaved to say the least, and not to forget the extreme delay in serving the food. During Durga Puja I was on a vegetarian diet and I had asked for a vegetarian biryani and they gave me a mutton biryani after a 1 hour wait. They are least bothered about customer service and on top of the poor service they are argumentative and defensive. The room rates are extremely high compared to the poor quality rooms and bad services. The house keeping kept sending wet blankets and bed sheets from the laundry which is unacceptable. I hope Park plaza Kolkata realizes that they need to work on their quality and service. I have stayed at hotels all over the world but this would surely be one of the worst experiences I've had in a hotel.

Cool place. Got nice restaurants. Even got a 24 hour open multicuisine restaurant. And a terrace bar cum restaurant n open pool side cafe.

The rooms are spacious with large storage capacity. Their services are up to the mark and I had gone to attend boutique exhibitions and the function was good and not messy. Over all it's good but they can surely work on their food as it as not that great.!

Room had a damp odor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have been visiting the hotel for the last few years and there has been a lot of wear and tear damage.

It was an amazing experience… The food at K19 was well prepared and delicious, you can call just perfect… The aroma of it gives the absolute sensation of the term Refined. Staff was much helping and approachable. In all Park Plaza surprised me at the end with the music of the violins being played by two men.

I got a room previously occupied by a smoker. The clicking, opening and closing of doors in the corridor irritated me especially in the night. Gym was good, sauna was very good. Food was decent. And had a Bengali flavor, but Pooja effect was not visible! Overall good, can be better…

People dont ever opt for this sick and pathetic hotel… They really dont knw that they into the hospitality sector. Their front desk people pretend to be classy put r the most classless ppl… Their rates r not cheap and is equivalent to a taj or hyatt… Since it was my bday, my wife had organised a surprise stay at this hotel n had asked the front desk to allow 5-6 of my friends to visit us at 10:30pm for my bday. The afternoon front desk person gave us a go ahead n acco…rdingly we had called r frnds. At night when they arrived 4 of my friends were allowed n later few frnds came, and they were held back.
As we approached the front desk these ppl were very rude and least bothered about the situation and not at all polite. I asked them to check me out n immediately without any hesitation they did it… Plus another situation was present at the lobby.
They were having issues with another guest who was a lady… Even she had asked the front desk to check her out at that very moment… I feel she was staying alone and without any hesitation they checked her out also at around 11:40pm… This place looks n feels nice but the staff on whom the owner Mr. Gupta is relying it is the worst ppl in this form of trade… If guys looking forward for a visit here trust me think properly n get things in writing before hand or to have a hassle free n beautiful time kindly opt for another hotel… If u all feel I am just bull shitting then pls go ahead n have ur own experience…

An extremely good property right at the heart of Kolkata. Very good ambience and the most touching factor is the people connect. Here the staff are very friendly and makes you feel at home. A fantastic infinity pool in the roof top and a well maintained spa. The lounge NIRVAVA is a must visit.

Me n my fiance stayed there for 4days n neat n clean this hotel were just perfect with So comfortably. I love the Breakfast so n the specially staff's thr is great. Thank you park plaza we'll surely visit soon.

Hotel good for business stay. Slightly on higher side. As its kolkata you can always get good food. But yesterday I had very bitter experience. The hotel staffs were really not bothered to ask us if we needed anything or not. Poor service.

I had been. To park plaza on 13th of jan… I wanted to host a party on d 23rd. Of jan… I wanted to speak tod manager… I ws asked to wait. At d reception… aftr 30 mind I decided to leave… as there ws no one who cld attend to me… wn I questiowd at d reception. They profusely appogized nd asked me to again. Wait giving me some flimsy excuses… so I decided to leave… had a vry bad experience.

Had checked in on 12th Jan at 11 pm, and the hotel staff did not have any towels in the room. They were able to provide e a towel after repeated requests only by 7 30 am on 13th Jan. The hotel did not have towels as their outsourced laundry service provider did not bring the towels. Very poor planning Poor service. Hope they improve.

I had my sister's wedding there, The banquet manager rahul and asnt manager rana, both are very co-operative.

You maybe not like it at the first night. But you will love it slowly.

Park Plaza is a descent hotel located in Ballygunge. Transport services are arranged by the staffs for sightseeing of the city of joy. During my stay at this hotel, I asked the staffs to arrange for a luxury car for sightseeing purpose and they arranged the same for me.

Rooftop swimming pool at Smoke Shack under an open sky creates a wonderful atmosphere for spending leisure hours. The restaurants are well decorated and serve lovely dishes at affordable prices. Smoke Shack’s reshmi kebab was awesome to taste. If you visit this restaurant never miss it. You can also try out tikka kebabs with blue lagoon cocktails. The restaurant offers a beautiful ambiance and some good dishes. A must Try.
