Nice place to stay in a crowded area of kolkata even with a limited budget. They are quite professional. Overall good.

Hotel Manager is damn good Very helpful Other stuffs behave like Kings. Mid-range hotel for visitors Normally they charge 1900-2000 RS for foreigners U can bargain with them and get it for low.

Nice & budgeted hotel to stay with or without family. Few minutes walking distance from Kolkata new market. Room was clean with few facilities like electric cattle, TV, free Wi-Fi, AC,   Fan, hot water & vantilation fan in bathroom, complimentary breakfast. Only few things that bothered me not to have any window in our room & the room was very small. Banket they gave us was very itchy & not usable. Plus bathroom was little bit dirty & drainage system didn't work properly. Last but not the least room service is very much poor. Ordered food over the phone & after passing almost 45 minutes they knocked our door (without bringing the food) & said we have to give money first & tell them again what food we want to order… & it took almost 2 hour total… Overall it was okay okay experience.

Budget hotel with modern commodities in a good location. Very close to new market. Good place to stay in kolkata if you go for shopping.

Disapointing hotel due to a lack of cleaness (bedsheets, walls corridors), and hot water so slow to come out, despite a rather high rate (single 1600). Complicated architecture :some rooms are difficult to find out without a map… No window but good bathroom ventilation. Cold distant unconcerned staff. You have to insist to get Wi-Fi password. But complimentary tea with electric kettle at disposal in the room.

This is average good hotel. But narrow road. Inside environment is also good. For lodge and demand for Bangladesh people it's counted as hotel in average good. Inside room is lot of space and bathroom also good. Pernight 2500 Rs chewed for it.

Very bad experience with hotel. I booked it online and made advance payment. But When I arrived at the hotel, hotel denied any room outright. They said, they don't follow online booking, How funny! They take payment online & don't follow it! Hotel stuffs are stupids and arrogant. Avoid this hotel by all means.

Very poor management according to rate. Wi-Fi connection is very very poor. They became unable to provide blanket, towels at necessary time. Several times we asked for various items but all day long they need to provide those. Basement rooms and toilets have many more worms. 1600 rupee rooms are very small for 2 persons, 1900 rupee rooms are very congested. 2500 rupees rooms are not seen.

Hotel Afridi International, Cowie Lane, Kolkata. In the last week of December, 18 rooms were booked for us to attend a marriage. Someone from the boy's side who knew the owner well, booked the rooms, though it was already booked earlier at another property of theirs, The Golden Apple Boutique Hotel, for Rs. 1600/ — all taxes inclusive, but, changed at the last minute to this HORRIBLE hotel, which is situated in a SLUM, where some of us were made to walk to this place, because Taxis REFUSED to enter the filthy narrow lanes! Most of the rooms were tiny & filthy in the corners with paan spit on the side walls! One wall of the room was moist & blackish due to water seepage and VERY heavy fungus smell. Well, this was just the beginning! The Bedsheet, Towels, Pillowcovers & the sheets for covering were TORN! & STAINED WITH MENSTRUAL BLOOD & BLACK MARKS! Yuck! (I learnt later that this place is FREQUENTED by PROSTITUTES & THEIR CLIENT! ). Their complimentary breakfast consists of, 1 boiled egg unpeeled, 1single slice bread with jam or cheese on alternate days, 1 banana, 1/2 glass lime juice. NO salt or pepper even after request for the egg! (PER PERSON! ) We stayed on because of NO choice, being CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR! While checking out after 1 week (26thDec2017 to 2ndJan2018), room price hikedup to 2600/ — (from 1600/ — FOR 18 ROOMS! ) to accommodate BROKERAGE for OWNER'S, CHEAP, BHIKAARI friend (who has made around Rs.

We stayed Hotel Afridi International, Cowie Lane, Kolkata for two days. Rooms and bathrooms were okay but room service was not good. We informed them to fix TV line several times but there was no response, also they didn't provide the complimentary breakfast in time. Reception service and behavior was satisfactory but they didn't inform us that they don't have Wi-Fi connection in the hotel room, they only provide Wi-Fi connection around hotel lobby. Really disappointed to their overall service. Please avoid this hotel if you have other options.

This is a good hotel near Kolkata New market. Few minutes walk to the marquis street bus stand. Afridi hotel has two sections. The room of old buidling is small. But the new one is pretty good.

The room was pretty congested. Room was filled with lot of dirts, and though it has functioning AC, we couldn't control the Fan. I was running out of water middle of taking bath. After requesting an extra pillow they tool two hours to get back to us.

Many international costomer are came in this hotel basically from bangladesh. But I dont like this place. I didnt like there rooms and service even price is too high according the room.

When I arrived at their hotel they said they don't have my room ready, despite my 2 emails and several phone calls during the day on 10th August. They offered me an inferior room without any sort of reduction in the rent for 10th August with the promise that they will give me my booked room next day. I must mention, they had one room that was better than the one I booked for and they offered it to me if and only if I paid them extra, where as they should have given that without any extra charge to cover for their mistake. So they broke their commitment to give me my booked room, offered low-quality room without any compensation, and gave me the choice to get a better room if I paid more money when the mistake was clearly theirs. On the next day when I asked for my room, they were trying to worm out of their promise and I was able to get my proper room only by threatening to leave their hotel. Both the sub-standard room I had to stay on August 10 and the one I got from August 11 were dirty and smelled bad. The walls had smudges and spits on them and the blanket was horribly itchy and quite unusable. I had to buy a comforter myself to use instead. I specifically booked that class of room for the free-Wi-Fi. The first day they forced me to stay in a room without Wi-Fi. On the second day, their Wi-Fi broke down and they did not even have a back. And as before they did even attempt to compensate/reimburse me for the facilities I did not get yet had to pay for.

Clean room. Reasonable price. Good service.

Online Booking doesn't reserve and cancelled without any prior notice and no update given to the clients Worst welcome ever I got.

Hotel is ok. Room is good. Reception area need to develop.
