Nice place for honeymoon couple and the people are too good and helpful but meals rate is too much plz care about.

What a place to stay in Darjeeling especially if you are not that typical snob. Superb location and the view is breath-taking.

Very homely and cosy, and the staff are friendly and nice too! The best part is, it's right in the middle of the mall road.

Location: is perfect. You step out of the compound, and You will find yourself in the middle of Chowrasta. Look and feel: Gives you vintage feel. Wooden houses. Each room at the ground floor comes with a verandah (a big one) and can accommodate 7-8 ppl easily, as it is equipped with sofa sets and dining table. Approach to hotel: The passage uphill to the reception is worst. It is very narrow and stays dark at night. You will easily find dog poop, and if you are drunk or coming late night be sure to step on one. Facilities: Reception/Lobby area is cool. It has a guitar laid out. Some magazines etc. Outside is a garden with some benches laid out. Water filter is avaialble for you to get drinking water. Rooms have gyser. No heater but blankets are good. Food is available. But give them 2 hours for preparation… grrrr Overall: The stay would have been more comfortable if the passage / walkway would have been clean and lighted. This hotel gives you amazing views of the mountain (not Kanchenjungha be aware). Food if served a little early would have been good too.

This is one kind of heritage hotel, at the highest peak of the Mall Road in the Darjeeling town and they have good quality of service and people but I must say one thing that the maintenance quality is kind of poor that's why I can't give the rating 5.

Rooms are big, staffs are good But there is a big problem of cleaning as they have only few staffs. Rooms are OK but not mainrained properly.

It was a good stay at old Bellevue ridge. The location was one of the best in entire Darjeeling. Kanchenjunga can be seen clearly from the room no 10 in which we stayed, on a clear day. However there isn't any room service. The bedsheets and towels were not changed during our 4 nights stay. Even the room was also not cleaned unless we asked for the same. Service needs to be improved immediately, otherwise the place is simply great.

My sister stayed their for 3 days… all I will say it's a hotel of thief's … the service was poor… the owner is invisible… the cleaning staffs have stolen cosmetics … and the owner have taken no action… the owner indirectly supported the thief… And no room heater… my sister and her husband and 6 years old nephew literally frozen on that temperature… choose the hotel if you want to be disrespected and want your things to be stolen.

Fairly priced hotel at the heart of the Darjeeling. Merely 25 metres from The Mall. Rooms are big and comfortable. Kanchenjunga and other hilltops are visiable ffrom some of them. No bar or resturant inside the hotel. Room service is moderate.

Location was good. Left the keys for room service. Some of my things got stolen. The shocking thing is when confronted to the owner they try to threat us. The story that bell boy told and owner told are totally different. They totally defend there staffs and really misbehaved with us. Hotel challet or revolver will be a better option. Other thing is car is not allowed in this area. So you have to carry your own luggage. Or have to pay hotel staffs hundred rupees like we did. They did not provide any room heater and rooms are very chilling. Atleast I locked my electronics things in the luggage otherwise my monetary loss will be more…

The building has its antique charm, but the service was very poor, and there are too many insects at all times (moths, spiders, mosquitoes). Since the facility is so old, sometimes some appliances wouldn't work, although if you notify the service guys, they will fix it. The furniture is also very old and some of them don't function correctly (wardrobe doors, chest drawers are stuck, etc). No restaurant attached, either. Other than that, my stay was comfortable.

Live life king size, may be one of the best hotel in Darjeeling for middle class tourist. Location wise, price wise, fantastic views from both sides, king size rooms in a heritage hotel built in 1897, Bathroom size is equivalent to metro city's living room with 24 hours hot & cold water supply, 24 hours power supply… What else do you want from a hotel! … It's Just fantastic. And last but not the least point is the real caring manager Mr. Paul… Just an incomparable GENTLEMAN with great hospitality… But you can't have your cake and eat it tooo… ha ha.

A nice place, rooms can be improved but location is excellent.

I am staying there with my family from 27.6.17 to 01.6.17, location is good but no restaurant is there rooms are very old and without proper maintenance, security system is very awful my son wrist watch was stolen from room though CCTV camera is there and this busy season maximum rooms are empty.

This is a good place if you are looking for staying near Mall. Darjeeling mountain view is good from room. If you are looking anything Beyond this you may be disappointed.

Horrible experience. I didn't even stay for 10 mins. The rooms that were passed off as suites were in fact large empty rooms that smelled of damp. The manager insistwd I pay a days tariff. The photos diaplayed do not match. For every query their excuse is some renovation.

First I have to say about location, this property located in the main place of Darjeeling, and the main attraction of Darjeeling is Chowrasta (Mall-where can sit everyone and feel the environment of darjeeling), it is just 2 min walking distance even you can see from Hotel. Rooms are large spacious, but lack of management, staff are courteous.

This is a very quite place free from hustle and bustle of darjeeling The view from the hotel is extravagant… The hotel has a feeling of old British charm. It has geyser and fire place Rooms are big Overall its a perfect hotel for family.

This hotel is simply amazing… first of let me be clear u wont get a lot of facilities here… moreover they dont have a restraunt… but yes they can provide u simple breakfast… but still I will highly recommend this place… the rooms are vary cozy, wooden style flooring … just like british era room… food wont b problem because this hotel is situated on chowrasta road… and there are so many options to eat… kfc, pizza hut any many more available nearby… and I cannot forget to mention about the secret terrace… vowwwww… 270 degreee view of darjeeling… amazing that was… the staff was very courteous… 10 stars I would love to give to this hotel.

Sir, I had stayed there from 11/04/2016 to 13/04/2016 after making online booking through the "makemytrip". My experience is horrible. As I checked in room no. 13, I found a portion of window pane is broken through which chilly wind was gushing in and as I tried to close the window my hand was badly cut by the sharp and broken glass. By the time I had opened up my luggage and was preparing for a bath the room service boy entered. I pointed out the broken window pane and asked for dettol or other antiseptic for cleansing the wound. The boy called up other boys who harshly told me that there is no antiseptic with them and rather held me responsible for breaking the window pen and threatened that I may be fined a Rs. 1000/-. They then asked me to pack up and change the room to Room No. 27 upstairs as if they were ragging me. The Room and Toilet was nice. The place is nicely placed just near the mall. But the behaviour of the staff is very much rude and non cooperative. There is hardly any room service. If you order a food they will bring the most ordinary available quality and that too at a 2-3 times the market rate. Do not ask them to arrange for the sight seeing tour. They will charge at least twice the amount. Simply my experience with them was T E R R I B L E! Dr. Bikas Biswas.

The thing that I came to know at the last day of my tour was that Mt. K2 is visible right from the terrace. It is an awesome experience when you see the whole valley twinkle in the night sky.

All things are good. But no restaurant. Hotel position is very good. All things are available nearby.

Good hotel and a great stay location is very good. The hotel;s front office is not able to handle customers who book through the net, otherwise the hotel offers good and clean room with great view. Located in the Chowrastra area it is good value for money. M M Kumar Bangalore-India.

Stayed at the Old Bellevue in 2009. We had paid for a regular room but Siddartha put us in the top suite for 2 wonderful days. It was magical, old style English hotel that you just cannot find anywhere. Great service and friendship. We are returning this fall, 2014 to stay for a week if we can work it into our travel plans. Darjeeling is the place to relax and just enjoy after a hard trek or land venture. By: Dharmabumster.
