Lovely warm greeting with ginger tea on arrival. Rooms spacious. Food made fresh to order, good price, great food. Staff very polite and friendly. Sells souvenirs at competitive prices. Will be staying again.

The hotel was absolutely amazing! The staff were so friendly, the food was great and everything was very clean. The rooms were spacious, internal decorations made me feel like I was back in Tibet. Definetly would go back and I encourage everyone to do the same.

We stayed in hotel for 3 nights… it was amazing… Hospitality, staff, each and every facility, food, bar and resturant everything was good… Esp. The boys who served food were very nice… Rooms were spacious and decorative so everything was awesome.

Value for money. Food is not good. Room service doesn't come on his own, you have to ask for that. Top floor rooms are wooden and suitable for cold weather. Artistically furnished. Location and view is good.

Over rated food. Over rated place. Good ambience. Food taste is also good.

Pros:Nice infrustructure, good behaving staff, good resturant cum bar offering delicious food for vivid tongues, gift shop in the loby. Cons: no lift for a 5 storey building, food very expensive plus 18% gst and 10 % service charge if u order ur food in ur room will be added, located in a chaotic and filthy area.

The behaviour of the staff was good, they responded whenever they're called. But the room was small as expected, and that's why I was unsatisfied.

This hotel in Darjeeling has an unique ambience and awesome Tibetan Decorations. You might have to go a bit down to reach this place. The fifth floor in this hotel had wooden decorations room. You can stay there if you love wooden decorations. I faced issues with hot water supply. But, while I reached reception they arranged hot water buckets. These fifth floor rooms have Wi-Fi issues and don't detect the guest connection. You can enjoy the view outside on a sunny day from these rooms.

Wrost place I have ever stayed… will not refer any friend n families ever… food was below average… every time we order food it comes an hour late… n they have lot of excuses. Over all bad experience ☹

Nice restaurant, good Chicken dishes, good shop near Gate run by 2 ladies.

If you are not getting any hotel near to mall than it's okay otherwise look some other hotel. Rooms are okay but service is not good they have not changed the bed sheet and landline is not working.

Not bad… nearer to main market… Manager is very helpful… YOY hotel just beside… SBI. ICICI… UCO ATM available within 100m. Car Stand just front of it… you have to take a cab and spend ₹50 to go up Mal… rooms are not very big … TV available. CCTV security… and very helpful room service… local tea stall and restaurant present just front of it…

Beautiful and warm reception. Try to get the 5th floor wooden room… you can have kanchanjangha view. Nice location near to mall.

My sister and I spent last 3 nights of December 2017 at this hotel. It is located down a few blocks from Mall. We enjoyed our stay. Really pleasant and clean room with a great view from the window. It is a Tibetan style hotel with all facilities. The behaviour of the staff's was friendly. Good food at their restaurant with a bar. Hotel has a gift shop and owner offered us various items at reasonable price (cheaper than out side market). I would recommend this hotel to upcoming travellers.

Worst hotel visited so far. No electricity for 18 hrs no Wi-Fi stinking bed nd Bedsheets. Poor service…

Nice and cozy but with a cold that peels! Hot water is not your forte either!

Not good located as per ambience but very near to mall road,. Noisy rooms. Dirty street in front of hotel. Not recommended for family. Restaurant food was OK.

Self and my brother stayed at Hotel Seven Seventeen on the nights of 17th & 18th Nov' 2017. Everything is very beautiful inside out of the hotel. The entire room ambience (of Room Nos. 401 & 203) were awesome. Hotel is centrally located, with Mall Road / Chowrasta / Keventers being just 10 minutes walk. They even picked us up from the Darjeeling Main Train Station Taxi Stand in the Hotel Car — which was a nice gesture from the owner (Mr. Jigme Dorjee Bhutia). You don't need to worry about food, as the indoor restaurant (with Bar) offers excellent dishes (Tibetian dishes are a delight). Price of food & drinks are very reasonable. The fish aquarium was awesome just above the restaurant. You can get plenty of hot water since toilets are fitted with new Gyser. Room service is excellent. The mountain views from many rooms are excellent. The owners live on the top floor and personally attend to all visitors/guests which made our stay very comfortable. Lastly, when we requested for a special tarrif, we were offered a special 40% waiver (being off-season). We will recommend this hotel to all visitors. Rooms are good. This has restaurant attached. Food and service is good. They have room service. Rooms are neat and clean with necessary amenities.

+ The location was great and the restaurant had good food. — — — — — — — — — The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, the bathroom was dated. Also, I happened to be there when there was an evacuation and all tourists were asked to leave because a city-wide strike was imminent. The hotel did not assist with finding a taxi to the airport. Their suggestion was to stand on the street and flag a taxi down.

Good hotel… Good food… Not very elaborate… Still good In an OK location… But staff and team are good and supportive.

Pros: Walkable distance from central market place Decent hotel. Value for money. Gentle and kind hotel staff. Restaurant at the hotel ground floor. Travel desk. etc. Cons: No Lift. No parking space.

Right from the reception, room ambience and restaurant — everything is perfect. Just had some issues with hot water in washroom (since they have boiler system for a limited time in mornings and evenings) but the staff is always there to help you out with anything. Location is also good — just 10 mins walking to The Mall.
The entire hotel reflects true Tibetan culture as the owners are Tibetan family:) Me and my friend even got to meet the hotel owner — a very nice and down to earth lady. She invited us for tea at her residence, which is on top floor of hotel. Her home exudes so much positivity! We had a fantastic time with her and her mom-in-law with a cup of wonderful Darjeeling ginger tea.
I will defintely recommend this place for stay in Darjeeling. Pls keep up the good work.

Located quite close to the happening place of Darjeeling. Room cleanliness is only okay. Had water problems on 2 of 3 days I stayed. Food is good — reasonable price and taste. Staff hospitality is very good but only reactive to any problems. Little lesser on the value for money aspect.

The hotel staff was great. But I booked with breakfast included and the manager was convincing me that there is no breakfast. It was confusing! No good Wi-Fi.

Don't stay! Worst experience, egoist hotel owner, who live on top floor of the hotel, never give service on right time, no parking zone, you have to walk compulsory, surrounding with garbage, food oppps… don't stay.

Clean, great service, really good restaurant with delicious cheap food. Stayed for five nights and loved every moment of it. Definitely one of the best hotel in Darjeeling. They clean your room everyday. The rooms are big and fully staffed.

Stayed during my icse for a month. Those memories 《♡》.

I stayed in there heritage wing. In which the condition of rooms was very dirty. Carpet was bad smelling. Services was very poor, very lazy response from the staff.
