This is a peaceful bit of paradise. Spacious rooms have enormous glass doors opening onto private balconies overlooking a beautiful garden with a big pool and a magnificent view of the river.

We spent a day at this resort, and I can confidently say it’s a wonderful place to stay with stunning views. We had lunch outdoors overlooking the lake, and the rooms were spotless.

Backwater Breeze homestay was absolutely fantastic. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming and made me feel at home straight away.

Warm hospitality at very reasonable price. These people make arrangements for boat rides in the backwaters also. Jillu and aunty are extremely warm and eager to help.

Excellent full body massage by Devika in incredible traditional building. Followed by steam chamber (just head sticking out! ) Very relaxed afterwards.

Wonderful small resort. The room we had with a balcony was spacious, clean and well cooled. The bed was comfortable and shower had lovely hot water.

Coming from outside Kerala going on a houseboat was something I was looking forward to for so long. This was an experience that was a dream come true.

Unique experience but be careful of ‘extras’
Being on the water for two days was an incredible experience, seeing life from a different, much more peaceful perspective.

Renaissance Green fields, a good place to stay in kumarakom. Good ambience. Good service Mr Nibin, Reservation head, thank you so much for your warm service offered to us.

Good stay, good location and clean rooms but bathroom inside room is cramped and less spacious. Restaurant takes more time to prepare food after ordering.

I recently stayed at Waterscapes Resort in Kumarakom, and it was truly a unique experience.

Awesome location and views! All rooms are raised wooden cabins with great ambience. I really enjoyed the stay. The restaurant (included breakfast) was great too.

We are a regular visitor to this Taj property and it is a Fabulous resort in Kumarakom surrounded by nature, everything was excellent.

The property is a great place for a family vacation. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We were in rooms by the lagoon and they had a wonderful view.
