Nice accommodation and wonderful food. Mr. Rosayya and others too good care of us.

Stayed opposite to Petra. But yes, I could see them happy customers around. The place looks clean too.

Perfect place for a family or a friend's get-together! Clean toilets and comfy! Wildlife and comfort offered together! Must visit if you're in valparai!

Rooms and food were ok. Service was very good though.

I was on a family trip from (Swiss and Singapore) and we pass by this place, some of us urgently needed to use the restroom. The manager was was not bothered at all to help us, especially for our female travels. We were even willing to pay a bit money, but the only suggestion the manager had was to travel back to Athirappilly to find a toilet there (2hrs drive). Luckily the Deepika resorts manager was much nicer and let us use the restroom. We are planning to stay over next time and for sure will not book Petra, instead using Deepika resorts.

I am glad that we were able to spend our new year's eve with some friends at this resort. Excellent place, great hospitality, delicious food and the place is extremely clean as well. Overall great experience! Also, there are some reasonably good places to visit close by.

Lovely place to stay. Very near to sholayar dam to get a beautiful sunset on one side and sunset on the other. Rooms were well maintained and foods was good. Staffs are very helpful. The only drawback is u can roam outside the guest house as the gates will be closed and electrically fenced. Overall, its a good place to stay in and around that place.

Had a wonderful stay with family in the picturesque location at Petra. Felt like home with excellent room service, delicious food and great hospitality. Overall pleasant and a wonderful stay. Will surely visit again with family. Thanks Petra and Praveen…

We live in the USA and were sightseeing Valapari with family. We usually stay in star hotels, but could not find any star hotels in Valpari, so booked Petra based on online reviews. Excellent guest service. The manager and staff went above & beyond to accommodate our needs. They are very caring and we felt at home. Even the food we requested were prepared fresh daily for us. We loved the individual attention and care given to our family. Would definitely recommend to family visiting Valparai/Pollachi area.

Nice place to stay if you wish to cover valparai and kerala… lots of sight seeing is possible for 2 to 3 days plan to stay here…

It's a nice place to wind down with the hectic life. The place, rooms and food are awesome and homely. The staff are cordial and very accommodating. Overall a nice place to get away and have a calm and peaceful vacation.

In few minutes of walk you will get to 'Sholayar Dam' or view points where you can enjoy the panoramic landscape of valparai. You cannot miss the fish curry and fry in Petra, but u have to inform them in advance (Fresh catch from the Dam) Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Location is ideal if you are planning to do lot of sightseeing or if you wanted to chill. Eco tourism, > friendly environment> ideal location>good home style food= Petra.
