Review of Nest Inn

It's OK for one night or short stay. Value for money. I think it's a three storey building but there is no lift facility. If you get a room in top floor, it may be difficult for you to use staircase. Location: It's in a narrow street. You may not like the location. I was expecting a broader street. You tend to miss this lane very easily if you come in a vehicle. But it is near to Manakula Vinayagar temple, Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Beach and JN Road. Rooms: It's a compact room. I think it's 10x10 feet. One cupboard available where we can keep our dresses. One dressing table available with drawers. But this table drawers edges are sharp, so be careful if you have children ages below 3 or 4. There is no place for them to run. There is no two way switches for lights and fan. Two windows available but you can't see any views, not even a road. It is just for ventilation inside the hotel. Small LCD TV available with most of the channels. A/C was working fine, great cooling. Both A/C (₹1232) and non A/C (₹899 + GST) rooms available. All the rooms look similar. Restaurant: No free complementary breakfast. There is no attached restaurant but they have nearby restaurant menu card. You can order it from reception. I think it's costly. Beds: Double bed available. If you want separate bed for your kid. They will arrange one. So only 2 adult and 1 child can stay in the room. About cleanliness Bathroom: This attached bathroom has western toilet. There is no toilet paper available in case you are in a habit of using paper roll. No dustbin available in bathroom. Geyser is working fine. Bathroom window glasses are not etched and it's see through. We can't switch on the light from the room. We have to go inside the bathroom and switch on washbasin mirror light because one light was fused out I guess. Wi-Fi: Free Wi-Fi available but in my room no signal at all. Mobile Network: Signal was on and off for Vodafone network. Not sure about other networks. Parking: No parking space available. But two wheeler can be parked on the road side. Not sure about car parking whether it can be parked on the nearest main road?
