Good Hotel… I feel like cortage there. Nice stay over there They should keep more varieties of food for guests.

The Grange Hotel in Ooty is the one you can opt for if you are looking for a serene and relaxed vacation spot. Beautiful cottages with walking distance to market. We loved the customer service. Please ensure that you ask for coffee or tea without sugar as they have a tendency to add an extra bit of sweetness in the drinks. Breakfast was good. The Wi-Fi connection was not stable in one of the rooms. Ensure that the bath towels are clean; if not you can enquire with the reception and they are quick to act. I would give it 4 stars. Only one bottle of water is on the hotel and the rest will be charged. Rooms are comparatively expensive. I would give it 3.5 stars…

Good food and clean rooms but found dirty towels in my room… the staff were nice and breakfast was not that bad either. I would recommend this place if you are going to visit ooty.

Food is costly. Service is not good everything you need to ask before get it done. Room was clean. Place is good. Parking facility is good. Food quality is good.

Had a great stay here. Vintage restored rooms are airy, modern and high ceilinged. Check out the pre restoration pics from the desk you will be surprised to see how hard they have worked on the property. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Hotel staff is very polite and is all helpful. They arranged for a veg cake (specially ordered from a local bakery) @ 12 in the night! Took the pain to arrange for a cab that took us to paikala lake, nilgiri mt train, coonor. Driver Mr. Fernandis was very well behaved. Another advantage is that it is very well located. We would walk down to adyar Anand Bhawan for dinner, if you wish to stay close to the city all means of connectivity stay here!

We stayed close to the resort (but not in the resort), and visited it any times for meals and tea/coffee. The restaurant was good and staff very good. From outside the resort also looked really cosy.

We stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel was nice and clean. We were informed that it is a 100 year old property. There is a campfire at the back of the hotel. There is ample parking available. The restaurant was good too.

A decent place for stay in ooty. Good service with innovative ideas to keep the food warm which is important in a place like ooty. The rooms are cozy but the taps were leaking which was an inconvenience. The door key was hard to open which again was a great difficulty. Apart from small such glitches the over all experience was good. Situated in the middle of the town you could easily commute to the tourist destinations from The Grange Hotel.

Went for food. Decent food in Ooty must say is a challenge. This place did a decent job on that. Property looks good. Didn't stay so can't comment. Heritage property on a main road is not my idea of stay… However it's a good looking property I would try someday…

Within ooty, this is a good hotel to stay. It is located at the center of ooty. Having said that, one can get required stuff easily. Market is near this hotel. About hotel, staff service is not up to the mark. Food quality is also not good. Room is too good and facilities within room are good. 24/7 hot water is available without break. Good theme is applied to the room, like some old style British room.

One of the best hotels in the town to stay. It has a very relaxing ambience. The staff members were really helpful and always available in service. Me and my husband had a great time there.

I have stayed in this hotel last Dec 2017, it does not offer quality for the price. Rooms are below average, less in cleaness, and staffs are not professional. Basic need in Ooty climate is a room heater and same is available only on chargeable basis. Given booking through online portal with full payment, but always there will be a communication gap between online portal and hotel management which leads to disappointment.

Good Hotel With Parking Facility. And they Have a Very Good Food Court Also. Loved It.

Good comfortable place in the heart of Ooty We were a group and enjoyed our stay. The staff were very polite and ready to help. Good spread of breakfast though veg only.

Hotel boast themselves for their Heritage interior design. Instead of that they only have heritage furniture. I was using Impala Travels (taxi service) where taxi driver went through my bags (probably during the time, when I was out in local valley) & stole one antique artifact. When I got to know this, then hotel staff is taking side of Impala travel driver (Kumar) & Owner (Babu). After such behaviour from Hotel staff, I will not recommend this hotel. Food was average, but quite expensive.

Very well maintained. Nice service. Furniture is made of high quality solid wood. Centrally located and very close to shopping street. Customer service is very high and their driver guided us wonderfully throughout the sightseeing trip.

Comfortable bedrooms, clean bathrooms, well furnished, the hotel is set right in the heart of the city. Restaurant serves healthy and tasty food. They have a nice little garden and a courtyard and even facilities for setting up a campfire within their plot. Cost of stay may seem a bit overpriced to some, but considering the location of hotel and their services, it seems to be reasonable. Overall a pleasurable homely stay can be assured.

Lovely place right in the heart of the city. Most of the places are at a walkable distance from here. Nice clean rooms, comfy beds, super clean toilets and 24/7 hot water. The restaurant is good as well.

The main property is beautiful though unkempt. The restaurant is lacking in terms of finish and trained staff. Food options are plenty but lacks flavour. Gravies of different food items all look and taste the same. Location is fantastic. A thorough revamp is needed.

Hotel is located in the centre of the city, Hotel has a unique well maintained garden, bungalow type property with well maintained rooms.

This property has a charm of a 19th century English estate without compromising on the basic modern amenities. Nice place to stay right in the heart of Ooty with serene and calm interior. At walking distance from all the key shopping places and restaurants. It is also close to some famous places in Ooty like the Botanical gardens etc. However there is lot of scope for improvement in the overall service quality. We had to call-up the staff multiple times for switching on the water heater and room heater as those controls were outside of the room. Food quality was average. All in all, a good option if you want to experience a stay in an (affordable) heritage property and ready to compromise on few service quality issues.

A dhaba converted to a heritage property which is then converted to an absolute stunning of a hotel. The ambience there is very peaceful and serene, the gardens are an amazing view to have early in the morning. The only thing I had found disturbing is the number of people taking care of the restaurant, managing and the housekeeping, which is very few. They did their absolute best to keep the guests happy, but I feel that they could hire a few people for smooth running.

I loved it it was a lovely place. As a tip just ask for a 22 seater booking when you are here you can see ooty, Connor, pykaral for 100-200 rs.

Very good place to stay as a family. Sprawling parking space. Even kids can play cricket here. Rooms are huge in size. Basically this is a old bungalow converted into hotel. Staffs are really courteous. Care taker Raghu was really helpful. Bit expensive compared to the facilities we get. Located near to KPN boarding point. Half a kilometre away from market road. Restaurant needs an upgrade. Food served is not good. This is a negative point for this hotel. Hot water only 7 to 10, both am and pm.

Lovely place with heritage all around the property. It's a old property maintained really well. The rooms are really nice, clean, well decorated with old British era vibe but the washroom are according to modern time (that's a relief). I need to mention one thing that all the rooms are different from one other totally so you will find different décor and furniture in all rooms. The cottages at the front of the property are really amazing and have really old furniture with a real wood fireplace and yes forgot to mention, if you like bonfire they have a place on the backside garden of the property to host a proper bonfire (you just need to ask for it @ reception and they will make all the arrangements). The hotel staff are really caring. The food is also really good and the deal is really good though I felt one issue i. E little bit of historical information about the property in the room that would take the value of the whole property a notch higher.

Super experience of Heritage Living with Art Crafted Bungalows. Loved eating at TurnTable Multi cuisine restaurant. I recommend The Grange Hotel to those who want that extra care and privacy living in traditional cottage.
