I want to express my dissatisfaction with the services rendered to me by Radisson Blu Resort — Temple Bay. I used to frequent this place in the past and enjoy its beautiful ambience. But my experience in the last two occasions have not been noteworthy, infact, quite disappointing. The reception is taking a long time and the waiting time seems unending. This time I almost spent half an hour at the reception for them to confirm a room for us. Even though I made the reservation online. Since there are no toilets in the reception area the waiting time was torturous as we had our kids with us.
My next encounter was at the breakfast buffet. Inspite of the pandemic we found it too crowded, almost 200 people were there. We tried seating our children and ourselves at the buffet area to have breakfast but found it almost impossible to eat and the kids found it even more difficult to manage their food because of the overcrowding. So we requested them to permit us to take a bowl of fruits to the room for my children to have their breakfast in peace and This is usually attended to but today a new manager was at the helm of affairs and he refused to comply to our wishes and I was stopped at the door disallowing me to take the fruit bowl to the room. I take this action as an insult. The previous managers used to help us and escort us with the plates to the room. Inspite of charging 12k for 21 hours towards the room rent we were made to feel so uncomfortable and inhospitable.

During this covid time they have taken all precautions measures dilligently. Staffs are cooperative, spacious rooms, nice food. One of the best sea food I have eaten after a very long time. Don't miss out the spa. It's worth exploring. Being in hospitality industry I would recommend this property to others without a second thought. I wish I could have booked the room for couple of days. One day is not enough for a property like this. For sure I am going to visit again.

The resort is beautiful with so much to offer. The place has such an amazing sea view. The staff is friendly and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

The rooms are dirty. Stinky toilet and mold everywhere. Hair in the food. Regret taking my family. The staff were little accommodating but the overall experience was terrible. Paid premium price and got a below average experience.

I wouldn’t recommend these place to anyone for dining options, unless and until I visit there. As their staffs are lacking duty of care and responsibility; Food Safety, Hygiene Standards, Food Labelling with Use by and Best Before Dates. And got to have the complete views of their kitchens, receiving areas and procedures, walk-in chillers, walk-in freezers and walk-in deep-freezers.

One of best in class resort! The empathetic staff was very courteous to entertain all the requests with ease and full of lovely surprises. Must Go Location if Delicious food, Romantic Environment, Luxurious Stay are few of the top priorites in selecting the resorts. Thank You Radisson Temple Bay team for making our stay a memorable one! One of the best resorts highly recommended for couple of nights.

It is a good property. But the service is worst than a normal 2 star hotel. We wont recommend any one, if you are travelling especially with Infant. Because everytime you have to wait for a battery operated vehicle for a long time in your room. And most of the time they wont come, we have to walk a long distance for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Beautiful scenic place. Nice sea view rooms. Great pools. Water edge restaurant has good food varieties and tasted good. Very Spacious Rooms. Cool Infinity Pool Definitely worth visiting again.

We stayed there for 3 days and really had a great time. We got pampered right from the minute we stepped into the resort. Yummy food though on an expensive side, it's worth it! The beach, swimming pool, buggy services, cycling etc we enjoyed every bit of it. Chef Joshua made special food for my kid which she thoroughly enjoyed. I would recommend this resort if you wanna be at home away from home.

We went to the wharf restaurant at evening. The ambience and all of the resort is world class. Esp in the restaurant they took a lot of care of us. Would like to specially mention Piku for his great service and his efforts in making the guest happy while dining. And also shoutout to Chef Owazie… in giving us such a unique hospitality experience.

Horrible buggy service, unresponsive staff. Even sent an email to the management but they have not even responded. A definite knock off my list.

Oh what a memorable and incredible stay we had. Simply no words to describe it. The views, the hospitality, the spa experience, the cuisine, the chalet rooms were marvelous and wonderful. Loved every moment we spent there and I promise a strong recommendation to all of my friends who are looking for a lovely vacation to make awesome memories. 10 on 10 to Radisson Blu Temple Bay resort.

My Experience at Radisson Blu Resort Went couple of times with o clock software private limited, Chennai Team for company Anniversary Celebration event. It take hour to reach from Chennai Mount road. Welcoming at Radisson Blu Resort very simple fruit drink. Hall was good and clean. Speaker are audioable very well. Regards food, not happy with that, expect lot. Due to buffet it not satisfied us. Otherwise place is very clean. More space to spend time.

Excellent place. Had a wonderful team outing. Beach view was Awesome. They are not allowing us to use the swimming pool unless we book rooms there.

Beautiful and huge resort. The service is excellent and beyond comparison. We had a family reunion to there to celebrate my Mummy's 90th birthday.

Good resort. Fantastic location. It's closer to all the tourist interest locations in mahabalipuram. You can actually walk to all the places from the resort. Food is a let down. Breakfast is good, but dinner buffet is really bad. Especially for the price of over 2k per head. Overall resort seems to be a bit overpriced. Decent resort. Nothing extraordinary…

As expected, the rooms and property are fantastic, especially the Sea View Villas. The food is just outstanding! But even more than that, have never met a more dedicated, passionate and caring staff. From the General Manager down to every staff member in the resort, have been nothing but accommodating, professional and amazing. Hosted my brother’s wedding there and it was amazing, with a huge part played by the hotel and staff. Would recommend this place without hesitation. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Fantastic resort. Huge rooms and ample parking space. Serene environment coupled with attentive staff and supporting infrastructure means its one of best resorts in the vicinity of Chennai.

A great property with a lot of places to explore or find solace in solitude! A true seaside resort with access to an uncluttered and clean beach! The sprawling property has a lot to offer that will be a delight for families, couples or office parties with nice lawns, 2 great pools and a lot of open spaces. A definite thumbs up!

Temple bay Radisson Blu resort it's a superb. Number one in Chennai for stay functions & meetings. Etc. All hospitality are awesome I regularly visit there. Our Events company's first priority is this resorts for any functions. Keep it up. Hope c u soon in few days again'

Place the hotel was located is so beautiful across the sea shore. I visited as part of a corporate team outing event. I would rate average for the response I got from the people work there because when we reached there isn't a single person to welcome us or guide us. It's expensive what we paid but not satisfied. Think hotel is trying to separate the guest based on what we pay as we weren't even allowed near pool for photographs even though there wasn't a single person in the pool. Food was average as we already knew and it was expected! Radisson blu should increase the quality of food based on the money we pay for such corporate events because it's huge for them but don't get to see it in actual when they deliver it.

Hotel is Beautiful but lacks 5 star standards. Reasons-
1. Found Lizard in the room.
2. Had to insist on providing all out for the room for mosquitoes, the hotel staff was resistant to provide 1. The only option the staff was ready to provide was coil which generates lots of smoke and is harmful.
3. We opted for 1 extra bed, the quality of that is so bad that it gives back pain.
4. The AC in the room is not powerful enough.
5. We booked 2 rooms. The staff was courteous enough to provide 1 room early but the second one we got by 4pm and that too with 2 separate beds for a couple booking. At 5 star I would expect that hotel staff would check with the guest once before offering seperate beds.
6. Some windows in the room lacks curtains and hence you can not make the room dark enough to sleep during the day time.

Super facility! — pool is only available up to 20 metres. To chilling super, but if you want to do fun, here's in the wrong place.

Excellent Stay. Awsome place for perfect family vacation.

We stayed here for 2 days. Slow Wi-Fi, shower wouldn't drain and we kept losing electricity for minute like 25 times during the day. After a lot of complaints they moved us to a better room. Still slow Wi-Fi, other problems were solved though. The wharf is a good restaurant.

My stay was very nice and the employees are very friendly. The resort was very peaceful & elegantly designed and also Ambience is super nice.

Bad welcome check in time is 3 we were checked in at 3.50. The bathroom shower got clogged. The toilet area was stinking. A common shower gel bottle for all guests left by the previous guests. The staff takes exactly 30 Mts to attend to an emergency Complaint of a clogged bathroom. Shocking experience.

It is beautiful, the staff is nice. A little miscommunication sometimes but merely a language barrier. Food at restaurants is good, and the room we stayed in was really chill and high quality. Bonus: great Wi-Fi across the whole rssort.

The hotel itself is very good (nice rooms, nice and large area, a large pool, though not very clean, one by the Bay), but cooking in the main restaurant was not good, the staff is sensible not called, the Bay is very dirty in this place, crows are present in countless numbers. Yes, the restaurant on the beach is good, food decent.

At Radisson BLU we were expecting a pleasant stay at a highly acclaimed resort, what we got couldn't have been further from that. When we arrived we were dirty and tired. Our first wish was to take a hot shower. Surprise, surprise, no hot water. We called the front desk and their belittling response was that we were doing something wrong. My girlfriend is from India and she knows how to operate hot water machines (geysers), getting less than 1 minute of hot water is NOT normal. We kept hopping in and out of the shower. Needless to say this problem went unsolved until after the 5th request fell on def ears and we escalated the issue to management. Finally, near 24 hours after the first request and 2 hours before we were to check out, the basic necessity of hot water was restored. Second, we had an ant problem in our room. These were not normal ants that I am used to seeing in the States, these were MEGA ants and they were on a mission. We spent a good amount of time stamping out these Giant ants in our room. In all we couldn't have been more disappointed with our room and the kind of treatment we received. Don't be fooled by the 100% guarantee that the Radisson BLU promotes, it is bogus. My recommendation, skip this city all together. The beach is dirty, fisherman relieve themselves on the beach and you have to dodge piles of their feces on what should be a nice walk on the beach. Go to Pondicherry or Kerala if you want a nice coastal experience.
