Rooms were not that spacious but perfect for a night stay. There is no elevator till second level so if you are with heavy luggage better keep them in your cab. Check in and check out was as easy and the hotel clerk was really courteous. Room service was pretty quick. Highly recommend.

Had a nice & comfortable stay. Rooms are not very spacious though. Management should install AC in the reception area for the RECEPTIONIST. Its quite hot in there.

Very well managed. Rooms are small and conjusted otherwise every thing is ok. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Good lodge. But no restaurant and parking. Can take family. Sheets needs to be a bit cleaner. Good hospitality.

Clean rooms and very friendly service. You can order food from room till 11PM. Only problem is the rooms don't have window and no source of natural light or air.

Best stay nearby meenatchi amman temple. But there is no space to park your car. Rooms were neat and clean with best facility.

Great place. Wi-Fi did not work and they coudnt make it work on our phones and laptop after a day. Otherwise it was a good stay.

It's a mater piece of accommodation with such a little space for lodge, clean good and nearest to the Meenakshi amma temple. It's not more than 15ft x 65ft, I really wonderd the utilisation of space.

We have visited Madurai on 29th jan 2018 and stayed in this hotel, we have a very nice and pleasent experience of this hotel. The rooms are very nice comfortable and clean. Service is very good. The manager is very helpful and the staff is also nice. We realy enjoyed our stay here.

One of finest restaurants in Madurai and it's bang for one's buck. Be it south Indian dishes or North Indian, they're well cooked, hygiene and of course yummy! Ideal for family get-togethers and friends as well.

Very clean and well maintained rooms and communal areas. The rooms size are good enough to hold a king size bed and some space all around it. There is a very small wardrobe with hangers. Excellent Wi-Fi in all rooms (we had 3 rooms) and small TV with satellite channels will keep you entertained. The rooms have air conditioning in full working condition. The rooms are en suite. Hot water was available throughout the stay. The bathrooms have windows towards external walls of building and a common air vent. So possibly you can see some mosquitos there but not if great concern as they can't enter the bedroom unless you keep the bathroom doors for long. The lift and reception area are small as mentioned by others but let's be honest you are not going to be sleeping in either of these. The location was easy and as in Google maps. Use maps or prepare with print outs as not many locals can easily find this. Literally 1.5 minutes away from the Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple west tower. Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately no restaurant onsite but they have their own restaurant a few minutes walk away. Additionally a few other restaurants in few a minutes walk from here. No tea/coffee making facilities which I asked to include as an appealing facility. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay and explore local area.

Very very very close to Meenakshi Temple West Tower. Good service and helpful staff. Clean rooms with AC, clean bathroom with WC. Decent size — 1 room good for 2 people. Only the lift is available from 1st floor onwards. Great experience. Thank you Sabarees Staff!

They told us checkout was 12pm, Then called at 8.45am and said our check out time was over. At 6.45am a guy knocked on the door trying to sell us tea or coffee. The rooms has a little window that goes into a services space which a whole bunch of rooms also have windows in so you can hear everything in the whole hotel. The bathroom was full of mosquitoes.

Decent hotel with reasonable price n it's hardly 200 mts from temple west facing tomb.

Though it is very close to Meenaakshi Amma temple, the bath room attached to my room is not good. A very bad smell came from out side, the staff do not attend to the problem though complained to the manager of the hotel.

Descent place but expensive for it's standards. No parking place, no kitchen and no sufficient bathroom supplies. Wouldn't recommend for a long stay. Fair for travelers with least expectations.

It is located in the heart of the city, so tourists can reach out Meenakshi Amman Temple by walk. This lodge has necessary amenities and good food is available nearby.

This is a very good place to stay in madurai. Very clean rooms and bathroom. They will give you complimentary breakfast from the sree sabarees hotel. Food quality is superb. Very near to meenakshi temple.

Good stay value for money but not at all a chic facility.

Location of the hotel isn't that great. No room heaters or hot water after morning hours. It gets difficult to use chilling water in the evenings. Canteen serves good food.

It was too good once upon a time (2015) and slowly changed. Still they deliver tasty food but I'm not happy with quality of food (not boiled well, too much masala etc). This place is now very dynamic change in taste. Some times tastes good. Some times, horrible. I think they keep changing chef. But I have to say, staffs are very friendly, I really like their behavior/attitude etc. This hotel is very congested so the staffs have to seat the new customers on fcfs basis yet serve existing customers. Tedious job, but they do it amazingly. Hat's off.

Fine dining veg restaurant at madurai. It's a fact that Madurai is famous for food. This place holds that true.

Just 200 metres away from famous Meenaxi Temple and hotel is also good.

Nice … Very clean rooms. Just 5mins walk from Meenakshi Temple. However, they have no restaurant … Just stay.

Been there for one day only. Second day I switched to another hotel. Very close to Meenakshi Amman temple. That's the biggest advantage. It's located in one of the busiest Street in Madurai (I believe parking is a problem). I booked for a single and room they gave was very small. From the bed I don't have enough space to move around kind of congested. This place doesn't have a restaurant and not much options available nearby. Pricing is also too costly (more that 1200 ₹ for a single n no complementary breakfast) we will get much better options in Madurai for the same amount (or with paying slightly more)

I had been to numerous restaurants but this one is a gem. One of the best South Indian meals I have ever had. Went with the lowest expectation but the taste of meals blew my mind. Highly recommended if you want to try out unlimited meals with best quality and taste well within 100 bucks. The restaurant is well maintained. Go with a big appetite and enjoy the meals :)

A good budget hotel, nice and polite service. If you are in the city for the temple, a great place to be in for the location.

Found this place on a popular hotel booking app and got a great deal due to the discounts and coupons. What we wanted was a basic place to stay overnight and this fit the bill. What's good? — Small but efficient rooms with AC. — Clean and tidy. — Quite close to the temple. What can be better? — No in-house restaurant. The complimentary breakfast is parceled from some other place and is quite bad. — No complimentary water with the room. — No parking outside, you have to park on the road overnight and move your car by day break. My verdict: This is a ok dokey place if you want a place to crash overnight and move on in the morning. Skip the complimentary breakfast and go to a decent restaurant nearby.
