Good rooms… But limited hot water and don't expect room service even for bed tea.

Hotel present in Hart of the city but some of the service were very worst condition 1. Room service is not good 2. Food service is not good 3. Hot water service not good 4. Intercom service is not good 5. Car parking is not good.

This is was our first family visit to kodaikanal and I had no idea what so ever. I did many researches for hotel bookings and fortunately I got lucky and booked TCGH, we were a family of 10, 6 adults and 4 kids. So we booked cottage which was Rs. 3900/ — off season per night. What surprised me was the accommodation. 3 individual bedrooms with separate toilet and a hall with television. Just imagine how affordable it is. Once we reached here every stay was a blessing for us. Particularly I want to mention about Mr. SHANKAR here who is the manager of TCGH, man, you can see a person so humble and polite like him. Then there was about the complimentary breakfast every single member of my family enjoyed it, the room service was fantastic and was in timely manner. The cook Mr. KIRAN, whatever we asked him for our breakfast, dinner, tea, coffee or hot water. He was so friendly. It was not like hotel stay, we felt it as our home. The place is located very close to all the tourist spots and the bus stand of kodaikanal. I have no words to describe this place and the people. I would rate 10 *'s only because of the stay, the cottage, Mr. Shankar, Mr. Kiran and the receptionist Ms. Suganthi. You guys deserve the best stay all over kodaikanal. Kudos.

We booked for a night, we were around 12 people and we booked a 3 bedroom cottage, it was a decent cottage with no glossy marketing techniques, it is certainly the cheapest around and it exceeded our expectations, Decent bedrooms, no problem staff, nearer to kodai town, Shankar the Manger was very friendly, value for money, Hot water from 8-10,   They need to work on windows which few didn't work and even the door bolt since they had painted it afresh it could be the reason, Overall an excellent place for an overnight stay,   Take the far end rooms that gives you a view of the kodai town.

Not for relax, very cold rooms, but good stuff, to main road 10min walk… We booked discount price room — it's nice place for this price.
