Great place to stay. Nice and courteous staff. Clean rooms and bathroom. Children's play area is also good. Quiet and spacious. Limited options in the complimentary breakfast. 4/5, just because of that, otherwise a great place.

This is one of the best hotels in Kodaikanal. Very good ambiance and service. I have been visiting Kodaikanal very often since April and every time Clifton is our choice. Kids are more comfortable here.

Very good stay, hygiene. Clean bathroom. And continuous hot water facilities. Locating the place was bit hectic. Even with Google maps. 2 entrance, so bit confused.

Great place with beautiful and serene ambience. Must stay here when you visit Kodaikanal. The room service is a bit poor and the complimentary breakfast is horrible. But, the serenity of this place overlaps all the cons associated with this place.

Rooms were quite spacious and neat. Was told that the new management has renovated the whole place. Structure has ancient exterior and modern interior. Rooms has storage, kettle and 24 hrs hot water. There is a children play area and beautiful garden in the compound. It was very cold during our stay and we used room heaters to manage. Restaurant is not functional yet but many restaurants at walkable distance.

Very peaceful, cool place, service is very nice, you can have a good time with family and friends, Part of the hotel still in renovation, No restaurant, no breakfast, but you will get many restaurants around. The cost is very economical comparing to the service and the quality. You can ask the reception for a heater of you feel cold they will provide. Hot water available 24/7. Kids can enjoy the playground of the hotel for free, Very peaceful place. I highly recommend it for family holiday.

Wonderful place to stay with family. Pay a little more and get a room with some wonderful views. For someone who likes indoor games they have a Table Tennis table.

Spacious and well furnished room and the tariff is wallet friendly… Arguably one of the best acco in Kodiakanal… Only flip side is no Restsurent attached…

We had 2 nights stay in hotel Clifton. We reached early and they accepted the early check-in. Also we have requested for the late checkout, and they let us keep the luggage in reception and gave the room for refreshment at evening. It was nice. They are maintaining a separate garden and playground for children. The property is spacious, the parking is available inside. It is near to lake and easily accessible to lake. Hot water is available 24 hours a day and they provide the kettle for heating drinking water (for us they didn't charge for it). Everyday the towel and 1 water bottle are compliment. They gave extra blanket, since it was very cold. Since we went on offseasoon (December), we booked it cheap and it is worth for the price we paid. They don't have the restaurant inside, but shops are nearby.

Just room, they don't have anything. No restaurant No room heater No Tea coffee No food Room bed sheets and Lenin's stink Bad place to stay with family.

Warm and peaceful… When I visited there was no kitche or dining.

We had a pleasant stay at the Cliffton during November, considered to be off-season. Booked via Oyo, we got two rooms for a little above 4k, which I would say is quite decent.
The hotel is a 5-minute walk from the lake, so location is good. The compound is well kept and looks neat. The rooms are spacious and have TVs with HD features. Only thing, since around November, it gets a little cold, I wish they had the provision to keep the beds warm. Otherwise, good hotel, pleasant manager. Shall recommend it!

I have just fallen in love with this place. Beatiful cottages with best view. Huge garden where you can sit and relax. Very peaceful place. Excellent property with great services. Rooms are also very beautiful. Away from cities hustle and bustle. Good place to spend some quality time.

The rooms are brilliant but there is no morning breakfast.

Would have given them 5 star, had it not been for the restaurant and the tea/coffee kit in the room, that were missing.

Our stay at the Hotel Cliffton, Kodaikanal was an amazing one. The Hotel has an old world charm with cottages completely modernised from the inside. It has a huge garden where kids and adults likewise can walk around freely to relax and unwind. Book in advance as the place gets full during holidays.

Worst place ever saw… 3, 500 per night without Bill cash payment only and the customer details will be noted only on pencil in note book… No landline in room, no towel, no hot water tooo… No service…

The place is very near to the lake and market place. A very quiet and decent place.
