Excellent infrastructure. Very good food as well. Service leaves lot to be desired. At breakfast time, if you leave your uneaten (even untouched) food at the table to go pick up a coffee, the plate is taken away. They should be mindful of not wasting. Lot of courteous people come and ask how are you, what you need, and I say Coffee. But it never comes. Then I go to pick up and she says it will come to table. Well, if it came to table, why I need to come here. I guess they need more training on managing commitments, not just on courtesy.

Westin is a luxury hotel, located at Velachery, prominently near IIT Madras and Phoenix mall. Very luxurious place with a lot of facilities. There are around 4 restaurants within Westin and a wide variety of rooms to choose from. There a happy hours as well in certain restaurants. A popular choice for foreigners to drop by in Chennai!

Westin has really helpful staff. The ambience is good but there was very less crowd for clubbing. For casual drinking it's a good place to visit. The buffet at westin is really good and worth the experience.

Had buffet dinner. Though the spread is wife no options for Vegetarian Jain except a starter and curd rice. But the Chef Ajay got some excellent Indian Jain Vegetarian with freshly made rotis. Quite expensive buffet. Can offer more varieties for the price charged. Good one, but definitely not the best buffet in the town.

I visited a restaurant, Seasonal Tastes, in the hotel. This place serves great food! The staff was very helpful and cooperative, and responded well to our needs and requests. The dessert selection was amazing! I loved the cheese and crackers, and probably will visit again only because of cheese and desserts!

One of the prime locations to stay in chennai where you'll find fun and frolic enveloping the place. The staff is quite cordial and the aqua brunch is a perfect way to beat summers and enjoy some food. The food varieties are innumerable and the head chef prepares everything as per your need. The rooms are quite clean and the view towards a green forest is a delight. All in all a great place to visit.

Great hotel with great staff. Nice décor and beautiful pool system. Restaurants at the hotel are also recommended. This applies to the buffet restaurant and also the barbecue.

Very nice place. Best daily maintenance of rooms beds n every thing. Nice arrangements for car parking. Good food. Different varieties of healthy foods breakfast free to the inmates more than one hundred items daily. Daily new new items. In all this is a pleasant n hralty place. Him n swimming pool nicely equipped. Overall a very good disciplined place for peaceful living specially on vacation period.

We went to seasonal tastes. The ambience and service were excellent. We had a veg Desi pizza. It was simple and tasty. A good place if you wanna have a relaxing time.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Chefs and managers often greet you and ask if you need anything and also if everything is fine. They go to each and every table during breakfast. The receptionist gave us complimentary Wi-Fi for our whole duration of stay. They also gave us complimentary desserts. Great hospitality, big, clean and astonishingly beautiful room. Would recommend any day and anytime. My rating is 100/10.

Excellent hotel. Second visit to this hotel. Great staff, efficient car service, good choice of food and great breakfast. Large rooms are well maintained and serviced, beds and pillows very comfortable. Gym overlooks the pool, equipment good and staff attentive. Staff were happy to let me use the showers after I'd checked out. I will be back when I'm next in Chennai.

A genuinely fantastic hotel. The facilities, the staff, the service, the restaurants and the rooms are all of the highest quality and I do not have a single bad word to say about this place. A special mention to Trina and Jagadeesh who ensured my room was continuously spotless and well stocked. Not to mention their amazing talent for towel animals! All of the staff are friendly and polite, with a genuine aim to make your stay the best it can possibly be. This goes for everyone from the security on the front gate (complete with trick performing sniffer dog) to the staff member who checks up on you during the evening to ensure everything is to your liking. I didn't get to use the gym during my stay (for which you can rent gym gear if you've forgotten it) but I did use the pool on several occasions. Long and deep enough to do some decent lengths and with a brilliant aspect over the man made waterfall nestled in the centre of the complex. After a long week of work there's nothing quite like an ice cold beer poolside. Of all the restaurants, I highly recommend the Sunset Grill. They have a local themed set menu that definitely satisfies the taste buds.

An excellent hotel. The staff are both very warm and friendly, and also highly competent. The breakfast menu is nothing short of spectacular, so it stands to reason that the quality of the lunch and dinner would be good too. In addition, the ambience, decor and layout of the interior is also extremely pleasant. All in all, the moment you walk through the doors of this hotel, you can sense that you're in the midst of A-grade hospitality.

Beautiful hotel with a nice pool, however, the loungers are only in the morning in the sun.

This is one of the finest hotel in Chennai with five star facilities. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was also clean and five star level with bathtub and in room view. Has good options of restaurants to eat in. The center lobby is aesthetic with different artwork. Dinner and breakfast buffet spread is amazing and one of the finest one with lots of variety of food. Overall a must place to stay.

5 star Hotel very near to phoenix mall. Liked the breakfast buffet provided with stay. Also the midnight briyani was very tasty. It's easily connected to airport and metro stations.

Seasonal Tastes at The Westin is a great place to dine the best food in town. I've been there a few times, especially during the Christmas Brunch. First of all its a 24 hour multi-cuisine restaurant. You can taste everything from South Indian, North Indian, Continental and European food. On the Christmas Brunch you can find most items available in the Buffet and you can order anything you may want. Service will be excellent. Rs. 2000 + tax / per person for Buffet. Valet parking available. Buffet available for lunch and dinner. And of course you can find a massive decorated Christmas tree in the lobby. Nice ambience. Good for a business lunch. It's recommended to book your table even you are just two. I always recommend this place.

A good property but it's location on the busy Velachery area in Chennai can be a bottleneck during peak traffic hours. Rooms are spacious and staff is super-friendly. The buffet spread is opulent and the chefs are quite happy to whip a meal of your choice. The Phoenix Mall probably Chennai's largest one is a 10 minute walk from the hotel if you want more choices for food or shopping in general.

One of the finest experience had with the place here. The rooftop restaurant is really awesome. The menu has been changed and price is little bit high here. The atmosphere is so cool and I would recommend for dinner date with ur loved ones.

Had been to Seasonal Tastes & Willows. Seasonal Taste is pretty good and ask for chefs spl. You ll enjoy it. They don't have a great choice of drink here. Willows is a cricket themed pub. Their combo offers r pretty good…

Lunch buffet — Ambience is very good. Menu selection is not so good. Service is average. Left to us to pick up our food. Nobody bothers to ask you a question on food or what we need. People at the counter are also new, couldn't answer.

Westin is the best among the hotels in Velachery. It has a cozy look and high quality in all their services. Have been there for a meeting and was well organized.

A cool cozy place. The Westin has a nice bar with good music. They are open up to 2.00 p. M. In weekdays. Its a good place to have couple of drinks and just do a little dance. The dance floor is small and can accommodate max 10 people at the most.

Had the corporate buffet. A good spread over multiple cuisines. Good food as well. Only think lacking is options in the Indian cuisine.

Amazing feel to enter here. The restaurant is great. World class service by the staff. Very approachable and kind. Definite recommend to all my friends abroad when you come to Chennai. The location is strategic as well, as all other parts of Chennai are reachable within minutes. Can shop nearby in Phoenix mall which is at a walkable distance.

One of the finest Five star Hotels in Chennai even though it is located little bit away from city. The ambience of the hotel is excellent with spacious lobby and car parking. Rooms are very large and spacious. Buffet lunch and dinner is quite reasonably priced with a limited spread. Overall very good hotel with quite reasonably priced.

Wellness is the brand slogan of Westin brand and this property is great asset to the brand wagon by portraying exceptional quality in service and upkeep of the facility. Not far from major attractions, and a helpful and attentive concierge and front desk makes your stay stress free. Well appointed rooms, which are spacious, modern and are well kept.

Good place to be for buffet lunch and dinner. At the center of city. Buffet is cheaper compared to other five star hotels. Varieties are lesser compared to other star hotels. Great ambience. Nice interiors.

The club is okayish. It's sports themed. It's quite small and carpeted, which makes walking in heels difficult. The DJs are not that good. At least on weekends. It's mostly Bollywood night, not much of trance or EDM. Ambience is all right and they generally have theme parties.

It's a good place. The willows pub is good. They opens at around 5 in the evening. The place is crowded during match days. It's cozy and worm and a nice seat offers you a beautiful view. Been there couple of times with friends and the experience was great.

Visited their convection hall. Great hotel. Food was awesome. Convection area was well made and it is built such that regular guests are not disturbed when a function is going on.

We went for a bhuffet. I took my mom and my sons for a treat. They did not serve any good snacks. Just urad vada and some hard chicken grill. We had to remind them to serve everytime they passed our table. They were more interested in some foreigners who were having lunch there. Very bad.

Lovely hotel, beautiful provisioned rooms. Great selection. Of restaurants, although expect to wait much longer than told in the Sunset grill — this happened two or three times on different visits. Will continue to be one of the nicest hotels in Chennai if they keep up with the maintenance to a high standard. Some repairs seem to not be in keeping with the look of such a high end hotel.

Hi, I visited Westin on Sep 29th around 8 p. M. And I was in for quite a shock. I am regualr to Westin, but I have never experienced such shame before. This doesn't come from managers but from useless valet that I had to encounter that day. So here goes, I parked my car (a blue Ritz) in the car park, just outside the lobby. When I tried entered to the hotel, the valet driver, kind of compelled me to produce the car keys. I was a bit hesitant as I left behind some valuable in car. After a few seconds of thought, I was still hesitant to produce the car key. But the valet thought I was a little cheap and argued "what is there in giving your car keys? ". Shocked, and trying to be polite I told the driver that I would give the car key after securing my valuables that I left back in the car. So, I went back to the car, had my valuables to myself and drove the car to valet. To my surprise none of the valet attended me to the car. So I turned off the car, I got out and produced the car keys to the valet, but I found he was kind of angry towards me and in a sound voice he asked me to park the car on my own. Confused, I asked the reason, he got even more irritated and started questioning me on my trust on valet driver. He pointed and took pride that he takes care of all fancy BMW and Audi cars he use attend. But later I found that he was particularly pissed off as I said that I was securing my valuables earlier.

So I've been staying at the Westin Chennai for the last five nights and I find it to be a fantastic hotel and I am having a great experience there. The hotel is a beautiful facility that is elegantly appointed. The food here is great and there are a lot of options for both European and Asian palates. One thing to note is that the service here is exceptional, the staff and waitstaff are friendly, professional and take a lot of pride in ensuring that your stay is comfortable or that your meal is pleasing. I have never stayed at a Westin before, but I would not hesitate to return to the Westin Chennai based on the staff.

Hi. Been with my family for the sunday brunch. Awesome. Excellent service and really wide spread. Been to a lot of places. Westin chennai really is one of the top. Must mention about the service — really good. Took good care of my boys, had separate menu for them and when asked to get some thing more for the kids, got it immediately and did not charge us for that. That is good quality service. Ambience was good. Definitely will recommend for anyone who loves food.
