Disgusting place and too expensive for the facilities offered. Food tasteless. Mineral water charges extra rs 55! Room not cleaned daily and you have lots of mosquitoes for company.

Best place for free relaxing mind and peaceful pleasant moments. We enjoy ourselves in the holidays with family members. This place gives imagine world feelings. New types of latest model buildings and greenish plants are very nice. The rooms cleaning services and maintenance procedure — All are very-very modern. Thanks again.

We had contacted a official event @ green meadows it was a great arranger made by the staffs with all amenities it was above expectations. Actually we were very afraid of the event because of the reviews below but it is not that bad overall experience was very good.

Nice location. Good layout. Not maintained properly. Staff need training to be efficient and knowledgeable. Good range of alcoholic drinks available. Food reasonable.

This is a resort located midst of a residential colony in Palavakkam Chennai — namely VGP Golden Seaview layout, Chari Avenue, Radio Colony, Jeevarathinam Nagar and Palavakkam Kuppam (a fishing Hamlet). There is also an old age home within 100 m from this resort. This Resort host a number parties like Marriages, Reception, birthday party, Office get together's, "Just for fun parties" and other types of parties at its open lawn. Most of them with loud music in the evening. Ther…e is no time limit for these loud music, It goes beyond 10.00 pm. Of course, there is this, New Year parties that go for a week. Residents around this resort are abused, by the loud noise. Resort owner and the party host's
do not respect the people who live around here.
do not care for the elderly people who live here.
do not care for the patients who live here.
of course they do not care about the children who prepare for their exams. My request to the people who want to book this party resort is Respect the aged people who live nearby.
Respect the health condition of the people who live nearby.
Respect the "right to sleep" of the people who live nearby.
Respect the students who prepare for their future.
Respect the law of our country — which says no loud sound after 10:00 pm.

Good place to stay. Staff was good. Rooms were clean. A pub is available inside and they also have a restaurant inside. I would give it a 4 star rating the dont have room service available but the place is good.

One of good place to hang out. Food is average and quite decent grassland for playing. They have average size swimming pool for both adults and kids. There's no much great indoor games and yes, they'll provide some outdoor game sport items. As per my experience, this not good enough for young couples or family to visit, especially in weekends! But good place for wedding/b'day parties and friends get to gather.

I wasn't expecting this lush green, quiet, soothing and calming resort when I booked it online. I always have this fear that the pics put up could be edited or clicked when the place was built making it look really put together. But I was beautifully surprised as soon as I entered the place and parked my vehicle. It's so beautifully made, old themed, cozy, lovely music and food. I loved absolutely everything about this place. So much so that if I ever visit Chennai again, I am definitely gonna be staying there!

I have visited this place for the first time after looking in to the website and didn't not have much expectation based on the previous review. Listen this place is good a night stay with greenness around proper maintained place, which was clean and hygienic. The place is like a hidden, which is what makes it perfect to have decent crowds and safe for family and couple as well. The dark brings mesmerizing views and inner peace when you find a spot alone or with your family. No disturbance at all by the management which makes more comfortable. Keep up the good work team! Only drawback is room prices would have been reduced 5% to 10% as some discomforts are there in the rooms.

Good place to take pre wedding shoot and all… A lovely place on ECR to unwind at the Touchdown bar and have Pan Asian dinner at Madras Wok. Lush green paradise with huge lawn swaying palm trees cool sea breeze! Wow the place to be with family, friends and alone too. Great food great cocktails with fantastic hospitality. The bar is a very comfortable place to sit and relaxx…

Budget friendly resort within city limits. Rooms are quite small but decently maintained. Food is ridiculous. Nice ambience to dwell for short period of time. Overall resort like experience, good for you pocket.

Worst experience
Resort atmosphere is good. But we face worst experience in the restaurant the man who is the friend of MD spoke very rude in front of who all in dining on my two year old baby who sat on the dining table for the second and behaving like an attitude man and harssing my wife and just arguing Like we are a slave to him. Even after reporting to reception they are just backing of saying MD friend. Really devasted and my humble request don't try green meadows worst place worst people. The man who is speaking with us for hygiene who named himself as a friend of MD. Please note your restaurant provided coffee with onion pieces and apologised for the same. Also the plates on the table which are placed in the lane are licked by cats. And the same plate is served in the dining. So please avoid this place and better go some other places which have private beach. Also the room which we booked at 2pm they provided at 4pm stating that the before customer is not leaving. I personally don't recommend this place since its inside the city it never give you any feel like in resort.

In February 2018 26 of my friends from the Netherlands came to stay in Chennai for a week. I suggested Green Meadows to them because of the location (in Palavakkam on the ECR, close enough to the city, but also in a quiet area close to the beach). The location really turned out to be fantastic. The restaurant within Green Meadows is excellent, but there are also lots of different eating places within walking distance. The bar at Green Meadows is a very comfortable place to s…it and relax, and there is a pool room adjoining. Green Meadows itself is a beautiful green resort. I also had my party there, and the staff was very helpful. They had decorated the lawn beautifully and as a surprise, the Event Organiser had arranged an appam counter in addition to the agreed menu (at no extra cost! ) and they put me in touch with an excellent DJ (DJ Sean, who also plays at the Radio Room) who got my friends dancing all night. We didn't want the party to end.

Green meadows is such a beautiful place. I was there for the function. I enjoyed the place more then the function beacuse fountains and nature is just amazing ❤️. We had clicked lots of pictures. According to space, it very large space and rooms are also well maintained and clean as well. I just enjoyed the resort. I loved that place.

The place stinks like sewage all over. The pool is not well-maintained. Amenities and equipment aren't great. However, the bar and buffet are great. The staffs were friendly. Yet I wouldn't recommend this place.

Excellent property. Well planned and built. Nice architecture. In house restaurant and bar facility present. Swimming pool for inmates. Nice to plan for a small family gathering or some decent team outing too.

Gross accommodation! We had wedding reception in this resort on 24 Dec 17, the guests accommodation is shocking. Very run down rooms, smelly and stuffy rooms. Air conditions not working, with fan the room was warm. The whole place is not upgraded for years and yet the management has the gut to rent out the place. The whole resort needs to be overhauled and not worth spending a night there. Our guests came for the reception refused to stay overnight due to conditions of the rooms and left straight after the reception. It was really embarrassing for the host family. We strongly do not recommend this resort to anyone, the management must seriously consider to refurbish this place very soon. Will never lodge in this place even it is free.

Had awesome time with my team mates. You can spend whole day here. Come with family, children can play in the pool and also other games are there for adults. Food was also nice. We played cricket, volleyball also football. Staffs were also nice.

Peaceful place to spend a day. Though it does not have a beach access but it's near to beach… Ideal for corporate parties where DJ and fun activities will be arranged. Its a good neighbor hood resort. Just 1.5miles from thiruvanmaiur bus depot. The beach is only 1km away. Rooms have 3categories. 2lawns, 1swimming pool, a good restaurant. Good for get to gathers and family functions.

Guys I am posting this on my personal experience with Green Meadows resto bar. This is the worst bar I have ever been to. Though they claim 3 star or 4 star the service they render is utmost equivalent to local bars. The bar tenders don't mind if you complaint about their serivice. Despite various complaints lodged to the manager of the bar no initiative taken by them. They serve liquors but they do not offer any complimentary snacks and you are forced to buy the starters which they cost heavily. Further, they levy service charge on all the bills and force you to pay. I would not rate more than one star for this bar.

Really Awesome place for Couples for night out… They have swimming pool but it's too much chlorinated which makes itching sensation on eyes. Complementary Breakfast is Excellent. But the in-house Restaurant is Quite Expensive.

I just LOVED this place. Resort is well maintained and ambience was too good. It was nature oriented and no one disturbed us. FOOD was the best part in resort and it was simply excellent. Only disadvantage was no room service but on an overall view it's WORTH THE MONEY!

Green meadows is a spacious and peaceful place. I have been to this place a lot of time. We always prefer green meadows for our family function like birthday party.

All please check your bill in detail. They will manipulate. The previous management was good but now applauling. Also check out for service charge they include. They are not allowed to include service charge.

I was on business and had the privilege to stay in the Green Meadows resort. If you really want to get the Indian experience this is the place to stay. Beautiful grounds and the Indian hospitality was unbelievable. The restaurant staff (from the servers to the cooks) was excellent! They catered to my every request and even provided meals that were not on the menu. They are so polite it made it hard to leave after the two weeks. Stay at this place and you will not be disappointed. At the restaurant ask for Abhijeet to serve you and tell him Mr. Jonathan from Florida sent you.

Very bitter experience. I have booked room one month ago through goibibo and room was not availvable at the time of check in. They requested to stay in another hotel that was so terrible. Please don't go there which will disturb your holiday mood.

Went to Green Meadows for an outdoor Club Meeting, were treated with warm and friendly staff, the manager Ms. Rhea was especially thoughtful and we would recommend any one who wants to have a get away to try the place.

Beautiful place. Nice resort with cottage, Huts, swimming pool, lawn, play area, etc. I went with my colleagues and the place is nice. Just 10 minutes walk to the beach.

Very bad experience with the restaurant. There were only two tables with customers and the waiter who took the order kept forgetting whatever we ordered and looked puzzled if we asked for what we ordered. The food was very average and do not recommend this resort at all!

Touchdown bar and cafe which is inside Green Meadows Resort near the entrance is amazing. The staff were very kind and the food was good. If you are looking for a place to chill, away from the chaos of the city, this is the place. Just relax with your friends and have a good time.
