Very unprofessional & lacks courtesy! I booked the room and got the confirmation. But when I checked in, staff informed that the room is not available since the room is not checked out by the existing guest. Almost waited for 1 hour, but the staffs were not bothered & concerned. Got irritated and booked the room with other hotel.

The sound system provided for the meeting was very bad, the very purpose of having the meeting there was defeated. Hotel food was good. Location is good and easily accessible even by Electric train…

Air conditioning was good. Linens looked old and repeated used with some half washed stains. I removed the linen and slept using my own I had carried. Dental and shaving kit was provided on request. Staff were very courteous. Room ambience looked ordinary for the price charged. I had a disturbing wake up call in the form of church prayers, which is may be 2 meter away from my room. Morning buffet was complimentary, a good spread of South Indian dishes mostly with English breakfast option too. I chose not to have my lunch here. There are better and cheaper options online. Ala carte in the menu, looked with prices on a higher side. Overall I have a mixed opinion about my stay.

It's a decent hotel but I think management is not taking business seriously… Ive been there twice both the times service was poor… Rooms were good though but the location was ideal for a quite place to rest… Overall 2.5 stars out of 5

Good to stay in the hotel. Hospitality is very good.

Stayed in room 104 on first floor. Since it's close to the main road, there is continuous noise of cars passing by. Windows are not sound proof. Also there is continuous sound of water dripping from above AC and hitting room AC. Rooms need renovation. My room didn't have a writing table so couldn't work in room. Food and service is excellent.

One of the best hotels, low budget, surprised by the service that I got with the money I spend. Nice place, cleanliness is up to mark, good staff service. You can leave your luggage there for safe keeping if you're reaching there early or leaving late. There's a bar attached to it. You can get the drinks served in your room also. Everyday there's a complimentary breakfast buffet worth Rs. 199/ — really good, nice service. Value for money, highly recommended.

A decent stay with comfortable rooms. The location is an advantage due to its proximity to T Nagar. Staff is courteous. The hotel is couple friendly. Good complementary breakfast. They also host a buffet lunch and dinner. There is a bar with rooftop BBQ.

Good place to stay and good service. There food quality is good. The one area for them to improve is what ever we inform in reception, but they will not inform house keeping or restaurant. They will tell they will inform, but you need to call them again.

The rooms are Good. Buffet is good to the price they offer. Comparing the buffet offers of in and around the city this is comparatively low in price and the menu is good to go. The staff are good especially Mr Goutham service in restuarant is very Good. Lots of caring and hospitality.

I stayed at the Hotel pratap plaza for 3 nights. The room was very comfortable, all staffs very friendly and specifically the food was awesome so many items in breakfast, I recommended in my all friends.

Loved it! Great hotel. In the city, very clean and neat. (Don't expect a view). Its a budget hotel. Well appointed rooms and very hospitable staff. I will definitely recommend the place to anyone on a short trip to Chennai. The free breakfast buffet spread is not the best but okay. I was impressed by the security too. After checking sites do call the hotel directly and check prices — you may get a better deal.

I had my daughter's engagement in pratap plza. The food was too good. All the arrangements including decoration was awesum. Thank you so much for making our ceremony beautiful.

It was a small place but neat. I just felt prices were high. For A domestic type liquor, Large price is 200. Not much choice of beers as well only KF lager was there and that too 250. Complimentary snacks were good in quality n quantity.

Economical. In the centre of city. particularly suitable for banquet hall with small crowd. suggestion. Fish can be better.

I arranged for a function here on July 5, 2017. I am moved with their hospitality. Food was great. They took personal care in every arrangement and there was a personal touch. Special thanks to Mrs. Latha who was very supportive. Our guests were very happy too. My sincere thanks to them.

Good friendly people, great breakfast buffet. I love the fact that comb and cotton buds are provided. The little things that count. Bed is good. My room was good size too. Edit: Unfortunately, on subsequent days there were several power outages and I soon realise how inconvenient it was ti have constantly ask for Wi-Fi passwords as each is only valid for 24 hours.

Food is too costly, Cleaning not good. AC air will directly hits to Ear while sleeping. In this price we can find some more good hotel in chennai.

Average ac were not working we changed 4 rooms at midnight it was horrible experience only goodthing abt hotel was its breakfast it was complimentary @ was of excellent quality.
