Ok place for transit purpose. Rooms are neat and tidy. Bathrooms are not so great but clean. View out of window is nice. Fan regulator broken so only one option of speed is available. Hot Chips Restaurant below serves good food. There is marble flooring in the room which makes the room cooler in such hot April climate.

The hotel is in good location. It is best for less budget people and they have reasonable rates. But the service of staff is too bad and non responsive. We have stayed two days and asked for water from room service and haven't received it till we checked out. There's a restaurant below this hotel and serves good food. Hotel is exactly in front of Chennai Egmore Railway Station. Has a full view of railway station and is located on main road.

This may not be a luxurious hotel of your dream, but this is within your budget. The expert staff will help making your travel a comfortable one. It may not be a star category one, but the polite staffs will provide you warm hospitality service and you may feel it a home away from home. Just opposite to Egmore railway station.

Rooms are good view and clean, don’t order food inside.

Budget Hotel. Best utilized for pit stops. I used a low cost room. Very good AC and room for just 1500/-. I used it for 8hrs only.

The rooms were neat but food was not that great inside. I would recommend others for staying. Cost is bit nominal.

Opposite to egmore railway station so that train travellers can prefer this. But also too much cost.

I visited chennai 1 weak ago for 7days and I stayed in this hotel. It was very hygienic and clean and the staffs were also very helpful. There is an attached restuarant with this hotel and they serve delicious food all the time. The hotel rooms were also nice. I loved my stay in this hotel. I will definitely recommend this hotel to whoever visits chennai. 5☆ for their service.

Except breakfast arrangement, Ok for emergency stay, because of location advantage, quite opposite to Chennai Egmore Station.

This hotel had got a fantastic location as one can see the room which I stayed in had a fantastic view of the egmore station The room was spacious and clean The room service quick Hot chips has an outlet in the ground floor The price was very reasonable.

Worst ever breakfast service! Ordered a tea in the morning asked them if any snacks or even biscuits are served or at least anything to eat with it… The only thing you can expect from everyone is he word "NO" book your rooms online before coming here if you have a good deal! Otherwise the rooms on arrival are damn costly… For example booked my room on the spot sitting in front of reception on clear trip for 1800 per day on the other hand when asked by the receptionist he mentioned 2400 per day such difference! I am giving one more star of room quality and cleanliness.

Don't book by mistake! Worst breakfast service. Don't get excited by the image that you are seeing here. You will never see that kind of room there.

Don't ever book. I had gone there and was made to change my room which had a damaged telephone. The receptionist at night (Old male with greying hair) told me to not be stingy and spend Rs. 1 and use my mobile and advised that doing so won't make me poor. Thanks for the advice. Beds are not comfortable. Bathrooms are mold infested and when I asked for drinking water, they took 90 minutes to get some. WIfi is terrible, faucets leak and bathrooms are mold infested. They also won't let you take a refund or change hotel or rooms. Please don't go. I am posting this on every website available. Spending my Rs. 1 as it seems.

Horrible stay it was, the entire room and bathroom stinks like hell, and every time when I complained they came and sprayed an even pungent room spray. Above all it was there suite room # 301 and I had to pay Rs3000 per day for this 'Life-time experience'. I wish I should have stayed at Egmore Railway platform.

My family and I stayed at the Hotel Chennai Gate on a recent visit to Chennai. This is a nice, centrally located hotel Chennai Gate in Chennai-Egmore. A bit expensive by India standards, but everything is clean, neat and "nice". The staff was very helpful, and the breakfast was very superb. Nice Hotel and Theme Bar. Best wishes, Hem Rocky.
