Rain Country Resort Resort

Fantastic resort and great experience. Mr. Devanad, the resort manager was very helpful. Food was good as well. That whole feeling of seeing clouds near you is a great feel. Only con — road to reach the resort is very bad.

Remotely located in a hilly area. Difficult to reach. This also makes it a very private and secluded resort.

Really close to nature, cottages furnished with more wood. There's a 5ft pool which is clean and maintained (just some dust over to the right side of the entry). Ambient lighting that's lit around the walkways. Cottages are descently far from each other. Restaurant is really good, they have good food, good staffs.

It is a wonderful place at the top of a mountain. Ride up to the place is an adventure. Suggest ppl to go up with SUV. Sedan will struggle. Once you reach the top it will be an amazing view. Food is good. Area is nice. Rooms are neat and well maintained. Staff are all very friendly. I would recommend this place. Overall a great place to visit.

Very good place for a holiday. Excellent food. The only problem is the approach road. If this aspect is attended to, I feel that this will be probably one of the best resorts in Waynad.

Candle light dinner was worst. For pulav we were given a bowl of white rice and max 3 small peices of carrot. The stay, privacy, location is good and plesant. Food on the first day was excellent. Don't know what made them keep such a bad quality of food for candle light dinner!

Very old property. Decently maintained. There is no scope for advanture activities other than a pond and a hill claiming. There is good potential for this facility however mangement not not investing it seems.

Very scenic and adventures Resort. Rooms are excellent and authentic keralite food awesome.

Very best place to chill out. Awesome views pretty comfortable cozy rooms. Only challenge is finding the way and reaching the resort you have be careful while climbing up the hill, as this is located on top of the hill. Food tastes good. Finally a god place to stay and very friendly management.

Good secluded place. Clean rooms (cottages) and good food. Only issue is last 4km ride to the resort; you have to be very careful.

Wonderful resort in the lap of nature. Cordial behaviour of hotel stuffs made it perfect. Individual cottages are very good, well spacious and nicely maintained. If you think you will do shopping at evening, that's not possible. From main road it's around 4 km uphill and road is rocky. Unless car and good driving skill, it's tough. But it made it more comfortable leisure stay. Have amenities like indoor games, children play area. One request to hotel management, if possible, make road better. Otherwise perfect.

Wonderful resort amidst forest. What an atmosphere, feast for eyes. Only negative is the road frm main route to the resort.

It was like heaven for the people living in city in jungle full natural climate with natural organic food everything is just perfect but for last 10km to climb the rock where there is no road to take your vehicle it will. Make your bike suffer a lot Rest all the whole property is just splendid and for sure it wil. Amazed you from. Room to cleanness everything was just perfect.

Brilliant for nature lover with inflow canal inside. 5 km from the main road. It's green all round with cloud coming in the resort. All wooden cottages with nice service. Good trekking destination. Nice place to relax and just enjoy the nature with nice food options. The inroad to the resort is not suitable for driving but no parking area near the road. Can try the traditional Kerala massage.

No words to explain the experience. Right In middle of the jungle, wooden cottages. Natural pond and misty climate. When you drive through a narrow path and clouds a feeling comes that your are going nowhere, but when you reach here, you can say only one thing "wow". Absolute heaven for nature lovers.

Good resort. Mainly for couples. Really meant for honey moon. A natural lake is there be a pond. Dinner is expensive. 500 per head buffet. Road is bit odd. Jungle path. Ok with the car.

This place is amazing. On top of a hill, this resort is amidst a 22 year old plantation property and is one of the best experiences of Western Ghats mountain range during monsoons. Enjoy the mesmerizing play of mountains as they change color with sun, rain and overcast. For botany enthusiasts, it is a paradise w/ such biodiversity that every 5 inches you'd be able to find at least 5 different varieties of plants. Excellent food and service by a small staff of manager (Mr. Devanand) a chef and a few others. Two Thumbs Up!

Beautiful surrounding. Old cottages are little dusty. Overall it was a peaceful stay.

Pretty nice resort, the host is very nice person, you may find some leeches durring trek, but for nature lovers its one of the best resort in waynad.

We enjoyed a lot with whole family.
Evening is awesome with snow fall. & the sound from aruvi in front of each cottage also taking us to the childhood memories.

Home away from home. Words don't justify the experience. Must visit to experience this place. Approach road is not good, but that is the only negative thing about this place. Reach early before sunset and soak in the environment and nature.

Amazing place for a getaway from everything. Peaceful, surrounded by forests, and high above the Road. You can play, trek, relax here. A bit tricky to drive up here though.

A great get away place. About 3.5km ride through a very rough Forest road. Don't complain but enjoy it. All you need is available in the resort. Natural pool is awesome. Water is perfect to take a swim anytime during the day. Free fish spa in the pool. There are no amenities in the room except for TV with digital set top box. Staff are very helpful. They do have little weird rules/options for food (lunch and dinner). Caution: Only Cash is accepted.

Superb resort, there will be rain most of the time as it's name says, calm serene place. Recommended place for weekend getaways. Their natural pool will be a different experience.

HI, We were there for two days very recently. Overall Good experience compared to near by reasonable resorts. Only the road towards the resort is pakka forest route, still you can, even drive NANO car in first gear. Resort positioning in the forest is really good. They have to slightly improve the restaurant system. Thanks to Dev and Ranjith for all the support. If you are going outside for site seeing pls ensure to have the lunch/ Breakfast at "Aryabhavan vegetarian Mess " for pure traditional style, quality, volume and pricing. It is located towards left of vythiri road from lakkidi. One has to try at least once. Its a pakka local Hotel. Dont except good interiors and seating. Breakfast and Lunch is super. Looking for another visit soon. Resort natural pool has to be maintained hygienic.

Place is situated inside Forest, gesture is good, full if peace and joy and nature. But before going there visit all beautiful palaces like eddecal cave, pooket lake any many others as once you reach to resort its difficult to go back again for sightseeing.

This is very nice place to spend a weekend away from the city life. We enjoyed the peace and the tranquility amidst the nature. I would love to visit this place atleast once in a year. The wooden cottages are amazing and you dont need to ask for anything as everything is already arranged for you. The service is good. They need to work on the variety of food. Devanand was supercool and helped us a lot. He also has a lot of knowledge about the place. I was a complete nostalgic experience. 100% refer this place. Loved it.

Excellent place… The road is quite bad and narrow, but the site is superb…
