Hotel A L Saj Hotel

It used to be a very big motel style restaurant where there were palm tree huts etc. With a calm environment. My father used to have food there and so do we and personally knew the founder owner of this restaurant. The food at that time (20+ years back) and now are different. There is full commercialisation now with concrete huts instead of the old ones. Lot of trees have been cut down. This is an example of Malayalees twisted view of development, building concrete structures.

Had a veey good stay at Al Saj. Neat rooms for affordable rate with all facilities. Well mannered staff. A good restaurant too at door step. A walk through the vast n beautifully maintained hotel compound itself is more than enough for a positive recharge. Easily accessible as it is located near highway. Excellent overall.

It's a really nice. Hotel… You have got separate huts for family. And will get a lot of privacy there. And I really recommend this hotel…

Ok food. Not that great. I only tried the vegetarian options and fish items. Food seems to be too oily. They have ample parking space and they have a big restaurant that can accommodate a lot of people. Many items listed on the menu were not available. Service is good. All in all, I would say a decent place.

Good rooms with good service. Ample parking space. Availability of restaurant is an added advantage. Individual family huts available as restaurants for families. Individual houses available for families for accommodation. Near to Technopark.

Good destiny for indian and kerala style food. For family its a perfect place. They got a good parking area. Well mannered. Service is excellent. One of the best restaurant service in Trivandrum.

The chicken 65 was not boneless! The beef was just OK and the fish Biryani was tasty but the pieces of fish was so over fried that it seemed like it may not have been fresh. But totally appreciated their excitement over the world cup that visible with their special menu and decor and contest!

Bit costly. Lots of car park. Room was really good and neat. Amenities: AC, fridge (may or may not be there depends on the room). Reception staff was friendly. The same could not be said about the workers in the compound. Location wise, it's away from the city.

The hotel is easily visible from the main road. The most important things about this hotel are DELICIOUS/TASTE, FAST SERVING and AMPLE PARKING SPACE. Naming of the menu items related to movies/songs/actors is quite interesting. The toilet is very neat and clean.

A good hotel to have food along with family and friends. If you are coming after a long drive or from airport it's the place to dine. Tasty Veg and non veg dishes are available here. There are ample space for car parking, small huts are available if you are with family and friends which provides sufficient privacy. Bit expensive but quality is good.

Had food here. Good tasty non veg food served and very quickly too. Especially liked the Fish Biryani, Chilly Chicken. Nothing worth noting in ambience, just that the place is all white n clean. Has ample parking space and is located by the highway.

I have visited Al Saj several times for lunch & dinner and I've always enjoyed the food. There's ample parking space and dining space. Food tastes fresh, be in North Indian, South Indian or Arabian.

Very good option for dining. Located beside the highway as well as the large parking area, makes it convenient for travelers. Almost all variety of food is available. Tasty too. Got small huts for small groups. Toilets are also near and tidy. The ambience at the main restaurant hall could have been improved though.

Good Hospitality by all the staff's. Food is really good. Rooms are well maintained. Parking space is huge. 3 kms from Beach. Early Morning's walk is excellent at beach with the Sunrise. Value for Money. Worth a stay.

Good food, however the male employees needs training on customer service. Have notices then gathering around and making jokes while the customers are waiting for someone to attend them. Have also noticed that the female attenders are extremely polite and attentive.

It's a great place for some south Indian spicy or Kerala style food. They also have good Arabic options. The service is also pretty nice. The disturbing fact is that even with all these and a pretty above average pricing they don't have an air conditioned dining area.

Good food but not the best. Since it is on highway side, very easily accessible and mostly visited by people arriving and going to airport. So visitors are of a moving population than regular customers. Vast amount of parking space. Tent rooms for family dining. Price wise also OK. Lot of staff.

I love to dine there whenever there is a function or a treat offered by any of my buddies. Ample parking. Nice individual care for groups, nice food, well maintained and clean ambience, neat washroom etc. You can get your family there for a lunch. It's not too costly. Lots of desserts are also served here.

I had a wonderful experience at Al Saj hotel. Clean and clear desktops… Good service. Nice Dishes. With Family as well as with groups we could experience a nice atmosphere… I prefer it…

Good quality food and service. Contrary to my expectation, price wasn't too high. We can see several nicely arranged huts that make this restaurant ideal for families/groups. And, the availability of adequate parking also deserves a special mention…

An ideal hotel for family dine out. Famous for non-vegetarian dishes. If you are on a tour with a big group of hundreds of people, you can park here and dine. Plenty of parking space and spacious halls which can accommodate hundreds of people. You can eat, refresh, and continue the travel. Also there is enough staff to attend to them. Food is tasty. While you are waiting for your order, there are some magicians who entertain you if you pay a tip.

Good clean functional place with good food. Place where you can take your family for a quick lunch. Though food is not exceptional each one in a group will not have a reason to complain. In fact the egg fried rice was really good.
