Just too much garbage…

Good for couples and family gatherings.

Very lovely place to be at… Blue water, sound of the waves hitting the shore… just takes your breath away… Peace…!

Location is neat. But they currently (as of Sep 5th) have some construction works going on within the property which is sort of a disturbance when sitting inside the room. The room as such is good, but the bathroom fittings/measurements taken seems a bit off, along with water leakage. Location is really nice. They have a private sitting area facing the sea, right in front of the property. This property has good potential. Hopefully they'll fix all the issues in this round of renovations.

Expensive rooms, insects in the room. Had some odour to it. Restaurant food was great tho. Don't fall for " beach resort " claim. Yes you can see the ocean. But you can't even wet your feet. Just a bunch of rocks that would kill your mood. Book the resort next to it. Has swimming pool and everything.

Food is average. Not proper maintence and don't expect too much luxury. No swimming pool. At this budget, you could get some other good resorts in this location it seems. Frequent power cut and power backup is not working properly. Average resort. Milky way restaurant location is good but need to do lot of improvements. Food variety also very less. No intercom.

Excellent ambience but need proper management. The manager Vineeth is very helpful and cooperative. Only the restaurant needs to be 24/7 and housekeeping should be mandatory for everyone. I would like to visit again and highly recommended for all.

Very nice view and clean room. I should add that the price is also fine. I booked a cottage and it had a nice sea view with clean and nice stay. However I have still rated it 3 star because of the restaurant. The food served was pathetic. Of all places I ever had been to this had the worst food. The sea side restaurant didn't have seafood! And the chicken they served was all burnt and soaked in oil. Prawns were over cooked and had oil smell. Oh it was horrible. One can stay there but rent bike and eat someplace else.

Average resort. Average rooms. Food is not good. Environment is good. Beach view and cliff is there but far from varkala beach. The room buildings are constructed in traditional way. Rent is comparatively feasible. There is dancing area where camp fire can be done. Beach view outside food court is there.

Nice place to stay. Friendly staff especially Vineeth. Have a sea side restaurant. We had a memorable stay and dinner. But will have problem with dogs if you keep any left over food to clear outside your door.

Beach front property, good rooms for best price. Good view supportive management. The resort has cab facilities, Bikes for rent, dance floor, AC rooms, sea view villa etc. Overall experience was good. The resorts needs to work on the restaurant part which is poor and not worth at all as in all aspects quantity, quality and price. The change of restaurant contract or taking over under its control may attract 5 stars all the time. Also rooms need to be accompanied with basic toiletries and intercom connection. Apart from those everything was good and cool.

Nice stay with a beach view side restaurant. Then hotel is overpriced at spot or direct booking. The room was good but Plug points wer not working. But it was nice and clean.

The location of this hotel is great, although the rooms are small, not able to fit in 3. Even in the name of extra bedding, they don't provide a folding bed. I believe they should do something about that as no one would want to sleep on the floor even after paying hefty room charges. This was a bummer. Would like to mention one good thing about this hotel. It was a staff person who went to the market for us to get the medicine as we desperately needed it. Thanks again buddy!

The best resort with the best facility and staff… Had a great time there with my friends. Only a five minute walk to the cliff. It is also having a private beach facility. The food there is amazing. Amble amount of space for safe parking of the vehicle. The management there is friendly and is ready to help as in any of out need. We do have good freedom and they don't bother us much with anything. The rooms were good and spacious and the bathroom was spot less. I personally enjoyed the stay a lot. It is also a great place for parties.

Bad hygiene. Bed linen were insect/worm infested and no bed sheet was provided as cover under the used blanket. AC temperature control didn't work. Shower floor drain was at the opposite side of the bathroom, hence the whole floor got wet after shower. Bathroom window impossible to close so it didn't feel safe from burglars. Passports were not promptly scanned and returned at check-in, staff rather suggested they would return them later. Receipt was also not provided when requested, staff promised to deliver it later — but didn't. And in spite of all this, the room price was still 'up-scale'. Overpriced!

Good ambiance. Located near north end of the cliff. Walkable distance to private beach. Service could be better.

One of the best beach resort in beach side. Good atmosphere. Good place for relaxing may even we get sea facing rooms. Good rooms and room services on time. They offered a very good restaurant faced with sea. They treat you well.

I went there in 2015.
That was the worst experience of my life.
Go ahead and book.
When I arrived at the hotel I demanded to be reimbursed but they didn't want to hear anything.
I left and took another hotel.
They didn't even want to bring us to the hotel when we had lost 4 nights.
Shameful.

Awesome place to stay if you are visiting Varkala… The Milky way restaurant is a nice place to enjoy your food overlooking the sea at anytime of the day… The sounds of waves crashing and the sight of the unending sea is a treat to watch. The other resorts are little high which mayn’t give the same feel. The restaurant food quality can be definitely improved… but otherwise place is great. The owners are nice as well. Must stay if in Varkala.

Horrible experience, we took the Sea view Suite which is most costliest accommodation they have. The bed was full of bugs and insects all over the bathroom, bathroom lock was broken, termites all over the wooden walls, blood stains on curtains and linen. When we asked for a solution, they didn't have any, I asked for a hot spray which also was not there. The stuff is arrogant and unhelpful, when we asked for a new room, we had to carry our luggage ourselves and shift. There is no intercom, you have to go reception for every concerns. The view and location was the only usp.

Great location. Just besides the beach. The beach is not crowded at all. You may even get sea facing rooms. Rooms are nice and staffs are great. Restaurant is just above the beach. Various shopping places, restaurants nearby. The quality of food can be improved though.

Good place for relaxing. Decent and clean rooms. Room service is on time. Only problem is there is no phone/intercom in the room so every time you have to go out and call for any service. The restaurant of this resort is amazing. Decent food but view is good.

This is a really good place to stay. About the locality, there are a series of restaurants, shops and resorts arranged very close to the sea. It is a beautiful place to visit. Beach there is pretty clean. It's a good tourist spot.

I was there for 3 nights. Good place, good service, good staffs especially that old man "MAMA"

The place is quiet and peaceful. The rooms were spacious and the decor was good. The biggest drawback of the place is the restaurant. The standard is very poor. The prices are exorbitant. Absolutely unprofessional. Even the morning tea was bad and they charged ₹40 for it. The complimentary breakfast was cooked, I think around 6'o clock and when we went at 9 everything had turned cold as stone! How do we eat like that? The staff in the restaurant were not at all helpful. It was a pity we had to stay there. This is just to warn you folks.

Nice calm place with a beautiful view of the sea. Cottages with view are a little expensive but worth the money. Decent food and helpful staff.

First of all is this really star hotel? The room dust. Staff came change blanket only. Never clean the room. Never put the new towel n mineral water. Breakfast was worst. Didn't cook well and open late. Not worth at all. It spoil our mood and vacation. The rooms in web r totally opposite when we stay. I definitely won't recommended this place. Totally upset with the management. No wife.

Property at North Varkala beach. Around 12 rooms on the beach side. Rent is high. Rs. 4000/ — plus for a day. Not worth. Room is small without adequate facility. Locks no good. Not value for money. Rented scooters available. Difficult for pure vegetarians in the restaurant. You can walk to cliff in the walk path behind this hotel.

The rooms are good and clean and the people out there in the resort are very helpful and polite. Good location and great place to stay.

Except for looks it has nothing good. The management is poor. No proper breakfast. Room service is bad. The restaurant also doesn't feature proper sitting space. There is just one waiter servicing in restaurant. There is no intercom. The view of beach is excellent but on overall it is not satisfying.

Perfectly located on the serene black beach varkala cliff, cottages facing ocean are just superb! Rooms were spotless clean with all basic amenities… There were many options to eat nearby.

Very nice place. Awesome view. Food is also good. Rooms for non Ac standard theere should be ceiling fans in place of table fan in front. Also a telephone to connect with the reception.

Season is the best time. You will get a beach less crowded next to 'papanasam' the main beach. The cliff ends here. The path way to cliff and the views are awesome.

For the cost, it's a good option Walkable to the beach and cliff. Food is not good. But stay is decent.

It's an awesome place if you want to take the feel of both mountains & sea. It has a short cut to the beach. Only issue is mobile network is poor inside the room but other than that their services are brilliant 24*7 availability. Normal rooms & cottage style rooms are there. Best place for relaxation. The restaurant connected to the resort is the icing on the cake.

An amazing place! Worth a get-away to relax and enjoy life. Far away from pollution, traffic and tension. The beach is super clean and you'll love it! There are plenty of places to eat and it's quality food.

Pretty good food here in the restaurant: surprisingly cheap, and the Pad Thai was great.
