Nice atmosphere my kid still remember the location, off roading, boating, hill view points in single location. NIce homely food provided but not in class of any resorts. Evening camp fire with our beloved ones with BBQ and music.

You will love it! Close to the nature and with a lot of fun activities to be done, Vagamon heights is a wonderful place to visit and stay for a night or two with your family or friends. We were a group of 25 and had the whole place to ourselves which made the visit even more special. The staff (especially Ajesh) is very friendly and caring. The hospitality, food, and the ambiance are just extra ordinary and one of it's kind at Vagamon.

Amazing place to spend your weekend! Awesome climate, customer service kids safe/friendly. Food is awesome. Arranged in an awesome way that both families and the bachelor group can enjoy without bothering anyone. I visited this place thrice and got the same vibe from the staff. Everytime I went I saw some or the other new addition. The last best thing they had was to include small scale adventure activities. Fingers crossed to see this the same wa.

Great ambience, comfortable and well maintained cottages and surrounding areas in the resort facility. Food is self-service and not buffet type with limited selection but food quality is very good. One has many options such as jeep safari, boat ride, adventure activities, play area for badminton, volleyball etc. Within the resort facility. Staffs are very friendly and knows what they are doing. I still haven't mentioned the great sceneries in and around the facility. Start of rainy season is the best time to visit the resort. All in all, a pleasant and refreshing stay.

Nice natural place amidst nature… Nice weather. Family will love the place especially the adventure park and the jeep drive. Food is authentic and homely and very tasty. The manager of the resort was very caring and loving. He tuk care of the family and kids needs very well. Very cheerful person too. Early morning trek on the mountains will give a wonderful view of the whole area. Would love to visit again to this huge property.

Nice place … they have lot of activities to spend time at resort. We were a group of 40 from office. The caretkers of the resort where also very supportive. Food was also nice. For older people the jeep safari wud be difficult as the roads are really bumpy. Overall enjoyed a lot.

Good option for people who loves natural places. A well maintained resort area surrounded by forest. Good rooms and decent food packages at a reasonable rate.

Scenic Place… Rooms are reasonably priced… Tents stays are available. Food available at cost… Lake inside is added tourist attraction… Pretty crowded on weekends and holiday. Prior booking directly is adviced than through other booking apps since I have seen people face issues through it… Finally a Great place to stay. Friendly staffs. Advisable for everyone…

Good place to visit in Vagamon. Less crowded and provide a calm and quiet environment. Trekking, boating, camp fire and other leisure activities are available to spend time there. Food is awesome.

Amazing place to stay! I went in the month of June and stayed for 3 days. It was raining all day and climate was just perfect to wander in the wild. This place has some of the best view I have ever seen. Walk near the cliff, off road jeep driving, witnessing natural waterfall & artificial lake within the property, tasty food, cosy rooms — Made my stay a very memorable one!

The place is situated right in the main road. Reception is located about 1 km from the roadside entrance. 300 acres of area with lush greens provide the right venue to spend your time relaxing close to nature. The staff is courteous and the food is lovely. Local Kerela cuisine is served to the guests. They also have 2 lakes inside the property for boating. One can also take a tour around the property in one of the jeeps taking you to various sightseeing points in the property. Rooms are clean and nicely done.

Great place to spend a day. Jeep Safari is their highlight. Food just ok type not so great. But sight seeing is worth every penny, very beautiful place to hangout with friends and family. They have cottages if you want to stay over, mine was just a day visit, we reached by 11, left by 5.30pm.

The best resort I have been to offering a wide variety of experiences. The place has in store a comfy stay, tasty food, offroading rides, tree house, goat farm, hill top view, boat ride in a lake, fishing facilities, campfire facilities and variety game facilities. The warmth offered by the staff is great. Those who have normal two wheel drive vehicles with normal ground clearance park their vehicle near the enteance gate and is taken to the resort by the in-house off roaders. If we own an SUV we can take them in too. The Malayalam film Ramante Ethanthottam was filmed in this location. We can also catch a glimpse of the jamnapyari in here.

This place itself a separate place for tourist to enjoy. Service is very good. No comparison one of the best.

It has a cool climate, with the temperature between 10 and 23 °C during a summer midday. It is situated 1, 100 metres above sea level. Vagamon or Wagamon is a hill station located in Meenachil taluk and Kanjirappally taluk of Kottayam and Peerumade taluk of Idukki districts of Kerala,  India. Few area is located in Kottayam district also. Sprawling among 250 acres of farmland, Vagamon Heights is developed out of an abandoned plantation. Though the old plantation is retained the open space is turned in to a tourist destination, it is not at the expense of its native charm. Fringed by a 100 acre virgin forest, Vagamon Heights still treasures the exotic flora and fauna as it did probably a century back. Rare species of trees and entwining creepers are well preserved.

A heaven for nature lovers. Good option if you want to take a break from busy city life and have a peaceful time in the woods. Thanks to Mr Rasheed and wife for their hospitality. Really enjoyed the time here :)

A habitat fully blended to nature this is what the theme on which resort has been built and maintained. Here any one can enjoy and cuddle to the warmth of nature for sure. The estate spreads up to around 300 acres. Only a small portion of dense estate has been converted to beautiful and tidy cottages. The pathway to cottage really keeps us feel as if in a forest. Exploring the whole estate seemed an uneasy task and hence we made a small but awesome evening walk through the main site view points. More than that the clear cool lake was the center of attraction for me. Enjoying a great voyage through that with no time limits and extra expense added up the day's pleasure. We playfully pedelled across the lake as much as time until we got tired. Having a beautiful sunset with my better half beside on the lake side calmly enjoying the cool pampering of water on my legs was like a beautiful dream for me Even at some moment of immense happiness I doubtfully pinched myself to check whether these all are not a day dream. Fortunately today it's new year eve and the inmates here had a wonderful new year party. Hot barbecued meat and veggies was too yummy to eat. But it was only the starters as the time advanced we had a great dinner. Completely unknown people became our friends there. The atmosphere got more chilling as midnight reached by. Everyone got more near to the camp fire to get a little warmth. We had games also which made us feel like a family.

Excellent place, good food. Kids enjoyed hill drive, boating and fishing. Worth enough to spend once a while.

It's an above average resort in Kerala. Location n customer service is too awesome. Downside is that cottages are limited to a handful. Few are pathetic! But few are above premium. They say they have card; but fact is card doesn't work. So don't rely on your Credit Card to go there. Food served is awesome. Quantity of food is too less. For a grown up lady, may be what they serve is more than enough. For a grown up male, it is just 75% of your regular meal. Hopefully they improve.

Super place for stay and enjoyment with family and friends, lot of things to see who love the nature.

Good holiday place in vagamon. And it's isolated. Good picnic spot to spent time with family. Food is average and costly. Rooms Could be more tidier.

Honestly it's a heaven on earth. One of the most beautiful place. I ever visit. It's got all the activities. And hills. Lake… it's a really wonderful location for people who loves nature. And the resort owners and staff's. Are wonderful human being people. And very helpful. You feel like home. And typical Kerala food.

It was one hell of a experience. Offbeat, in the middle of jungle. There's safari, boating, fishing activities available. The food is very tasty and the staff are very friendly and cooperative. It's altogether a beautiful experience.

Was one of the nice places in Kerala. Better to visit during summer.

Vagamon-Kolahalamedu-Elamkadu 4x4 route was awesome.

It was a really wonderful experience we had a beautiful room with a beautiful view with wonderful staff. We got an amazing price. The resort was beautiful with a really comfortable atmosphere, lots of amenities that we didn't need but definitely would recommend. The Guests can experience the real definition of the hospitality and feel the beauty of nature. Simply the guests of the resort don't need to go outside of the resort compound for any sight seeing, Much more kept for you inside of the resort itself.

It's a wonderful location with lots of off-road tracks… though the stay is not luxurious… it's clean. The best part is sometimes u have only 10 meters vision due to Fog. They have two horses in there and some outdoor and indoor games.
